My account was closed over two weeks ago, but LHV Bank is still holding my remaining funds. I have provided all requested information but have received no clear explanation or refund date.

Great rates but few things could be better.
Application and approval was bit lengthy. Best part is that it has got good interest rate in current account. easy access saver has got also good rate.
Few things should improve.
1 . Current account switch service is a must.
2. Standing order is very necessary.
Best part is virtual card option and physical debit card option. People like me have a choice not to have a physical card.

Can't wait for the A.I reply to this...
After reading through all of the 1 star reviews and bot replies from the "bank" I decided to open an account for a bit of banter, sure enough it took a few days shy of a month to open an account.
I asked multiple times why I was being grilled for information just to move my own money around, they said it was to comply with regulations... but my other daily bank never asks these questions - funny that.
Upon trying to log into the app for the first time I was hit with "please contact customer support"... that's it. No reference number, so then customer support has to ask for details of account, which takes up even more time.
Customer support is also A.I... so it's painful.
Have already requested account closure. That was 6 days ago. Still no reply.
I'd recommend banking with the village junkie before banking with LHV.
I'll wait here patiently for an A.I copy and paste reply from their customer service like all the other reviews saying how sorry they are and to get in touch with customer service for further assistance (in a few more weeks).

Took 10 working days and an email requesting further verification before I received email notification that account was open.
The link would not then allow me to open the account, advising to contact customer support.
Never experienced issues like this when opening a bank account before.

Like all the other reviews here, they make it very difficult to take money out of your account if the transactions are larger and they block random transactions thinking that it is fraud, they are 10x more difficult than any other bank I have ever dealt with, I will not be using them anymore, it is up to you if you want to risk this type of hassle.

can't use my debit card abroad
Every time I go to use my debit card abroad it blocks me saying suspected fraud, the last time I couldn't get access to funds for three days as it was a bank Holiday weekend and they only work 9 to 5 weekdays. Use as a savings account not a bank.
