Worth the money
This definitely was an investment piece for our playroom. I wasn’t sure it was going to be worth the money but it’s such good quality, love the reversible design and our older, lower quality playmat had ripped many times by now. Worth it!

The best baby product purchase I’ve made!
I purchased one of Little Fae’s playmats during March 2024, and I am delighted with how durable it is and how well it has held up since then. I’ve had two babies play on it, eat and even fall asleep it is that soft! No rips, stains, or creasing in nearly two years! It still looks the same as the day I received it. It is a perfect investment for the babies but also toddlers, my toddler still loves to play on her mat with her baby brother.

Absolutely love our mat and once rolled out, it provides the perfect space for my three year old to do whatever she wants, whether that’s painting, crafting or playdoh-ing, all without the stress and worry of having to clean up afterwards! Just simply wipe over and it’s ready to roll away again for another day.
I also love that it comes with really handy straps to secure it once rolled - it makes storage so easy!

I spent hours researching the best play mat that matched the aesthetic of our room, whilst still being comfortable and easy to clean. I was so happy to find Little Fae and the Thalassa luxe play mat. Over the moon with everything to do with this company. It arrived a day after I got an email saying it's been dispatched. Packaging was beautiful. The mat is stunning. Soft, stylish, lovely and beautiful in more ways than I can explain! Simply even walking upon this mat is like a vacation for your feet. There is this magical bounce-back that is just so fun and delectable!!! I'm going to order the exact same mat again to put it next to the one we already have, as I need to cover a larger space. Have wanted to get a playmat from the famous Totter & Tumble but understandably put that off for a long time due to the ridiculous price tag. This is a fraction of the price - and I think it may be even better than Totter & Tumbles mats. Though I haven't tried theres, I found absolutely zero downsides to this one compared to theirs, on paper. And now that I've received it, I'm 100% certain that it's just as good, if not better! These ones are even thicker than theirs! I wouldn't be surprised if the price goes up soon when this company gets bigger. I love love love this mat and can"t get enough. Although I got it for my toddler's play area, I secretly wanted one of this type for myself too. I see no reason why this can't be marketed to adults too. It's so practical, comfortable and stylish. Bring on the Little Fae Playmats!!!!!

We absolutely love our new little fae playmat!! It is sooo incredibly soft and thick, which makes it just beautiful to sit on, walk on, play on! And of course safe for any baby who’s rolling over like ours!! It’s so beautiful that it fits into the decor of our home perfectly and we have had so many compliments on it! Disappointed
So disappointed by my experience with this company. Due to me being on maternity leave we are short on disposable income but really wanted a mat for our front room for our baby to play on that fit the aesthetic. I found this company and fully researched their reviews, happy to find a cheaper alternative to totter and tumble that seemed to get good feedback.
I ordered their "Large bare palms" play mat for our grey living room. When it arrived it was clearly brown/tan coloured, I wish this would let me upload photos so you could see the difference between what we received and what is advertised as it was completely different.
I emailed the company, presuming that this was some kind of error and that they would send a new one. The response from the owner was "There can sometimes be slight colour variations between batches". This seems completely bizarre to me that a mat that is meant to fit in your home decor would be a completely different colour?!
I then had no choice but to pay an additional fee to send the mat back. I also received a curtly worded email during this time from the owner, accusing me of sending the mat back without packaging which I later found out was meant for another customer. This further added to the negative experience.
As I said earlier, big purchases like this are few and far between when on maternity leave and something that was supposed to be a lovely treat for our family and baby has left me really disappointed.

I’m really sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. I completely understand how frustrating it must have felt for your mat not to appear as expected, especially when it was something you’d been looking forward to using with your little one.
Our playmats are handmade in small batches, and while we work hard to ensure colour consistency, there can occasionally be slight tone variations between production runs. I appreciate that this can be disappointing when styling for a specific space.
I also want to sincerely apologise for the email mix-up. It was a genuine human error — a message meant for another customer was sent to you by mistake. I realised immediately and emailed you back within seconds to apologise and explain what had happened. I’m truly sorry for any confusion or upset it caused.
Your order was refunded in full as soon as the mat was received back, but if there’s anything further I can help with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch directly.
