Outer is truly the next level outdoor furniture- makes your backyard feel like a modern resort

I recently ordered Outer’s teak outdoor furniture set and fire pit table during their Black Friday sale. Stephanie from customer service was very helpful in updating us throughout the ordering and delivery process. Delivery was a few days late (but was also holiday season) however the delivery team was excellent - both professional and efficient. We are thoroughly enjoying our new furniture and fire pit, would definitely order again!

I have placed two orders with Outer, one in 2024 and another in 2025. Both were unfortunately very delayed. In fact, my second order is currently delayed over two months. Somehow the delivery company lost a piece, which has been blocking the delivery even though it is here in my city. I'm growing more and more frustrated because I had to personally track down this issue with the order and I'm having to negotiate a resolution between Outer and the delivery company. This should have all been proactively handled and communicated to me. Furtheremore, it's impossible to get on the phone with Outer—their customer service number always goes to voicemail. They primarily communicate over email which has its obvious drawbacks. I would expect a company of this size and cost to have readily available phone-based customer service. Two stars at least because the furniture is good quality and their built-in cover system for tables and chairs is innovative.

1 year delay without answers
Our outer order has taken almost 1 full year to arrive. We ordered our items in November 2024 and still have not received all items. I have contacted the company multiple times and they have not provided any concrete answers or solutions. I also have asked to write a review for their website, however they have not posted said review. I don't think they are accurately reflecting shipping times on their website and I encourage others to explore other options for outdoor furniture.

The personalized service from Outer is what first sold me. The product is well built, yet lightweight. It has a timeless design that never gets old. The fabric is easily removed and washed. I’ve enjoyed it for four years and expect many more. Highly recommended.

I love my Outer outdoor wicker furniture and 3-in-1 gas fire table! The furniture is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and made from recycled water bottles — stylish, sustainable and my favorite spot to relax or nap.

The fire table is a total game changer. When my original propane table cracked after one season, Outer’s amazing customer service replaced it with the natural gas version at no cost and handled everything seamlessly.

These are true investment pieces — high-quality, durable and built to last. They’re not inexpensive, but absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Outer to anyone wanting a beautiful, eco-friendly outdoor setup.

Horrible customer service and horrible quality. Spent 6 grand on the Aluminum outdoor rectangular table with director chairs. Within two months the stain on the wooden handles of the chairs is white. It looks totally uneven and horrible. When I complained I was offered teak oil. For six grand this should not happen in a summer that barely rained. I regret ever buying this and warn you - way over priced and no customer service

The best outer furniture ever and super easy to clean. We’ve had our set for several years and it still looks like new!

I placed my order on September 18th and I just found out on October 10th they don't expect to have the item delivered until November. The item on the website was listed specifically as shipping in September. It didn't ship until October 9th and will take the whole rest of the month before they will even schedule the final delivery. Who knows how far the home delivery will be scheduling out. Beyond frustrated with the bait and switch and extreme delays in delivery.

We purchased our Outer furniture—a wicker set—almost four years ago. Our backyard has a full southern exposure in Southern California near the ocean—with no shade—and so far it has held up beautifully. We have gone through a set of covers, but the frame and cushions are still as good as new. The purchase and delivery experience have been great each time we’ve ordered (although the covers this time were backordered for a bit longer than I’d have liked — I wish I had ordered them sooner because the rainy season is coming). I highly recommend this product.

This is the last patio furniture I will ever have to purchase. The quality and reliability is unparalleled. I purchased the aluminum outdoor L 5-seat sectional and the concrete fire table in October 2023. Both still look like new, even though they stay out through the New England winters (although I do bring in the cushions). When I ordered the fire table, they were a bit backlogged but their customer service team kept me updated on delivery estimates without having to ask. Much appreciated.

I have owned my Wicker sectional and chairs for several years now and they are still beautiful! Initially, I only covered them with the attached cover but during the Fall, leaves would settle between the cushions and it left a little brown in some areas. I read how to clean the cushion covers and once I cleaned them as instructed, they were back to looking like new. After that point, I purchased and use the custom slip covers which fit nicely over each chair and the couch sectional. My furniture has remained outside and still looks new when we use them. I couldn’t be more happy with the quality of the frames and the cushions. I would not hesitate to purchase from Outer again!

The black wicker sectional is not only incredibly comfortable but also versatile—I love rearranging it into different configurations to refresh the look of my outdoor space.
The gray and white umbrellas, along with their sturdy stand, are both stylish and functional. During a recent hurricane, I brought the umbrellas inside, but left the stands out, and it didn’t budge an inch—proof of its durability! I also have the bug-repellent blanket, which adds an extra layer of comfort and practicality to my outdoor setup.

I purchased my Outer sofa and chairs x2 three years ago. I ordered the black wicker with grey cushions. After I ordered I received word that they were out of the light grey and offered to ship with cushions that were beige. I agreed after they offered to ship me the light grey cushion covers when they restocked at no additional cost. I received the extra cushion covers ( light grey) before I got the actual furniture. When my furniture arrived it was very well packaged and to my surprise the cushions were grey and not beige. Installation was easy as I only had to put on the legs the legs. I moved and set up all the pieces on my own after the delivery service placed the boxes in my backyard. I called customer service to report that I received the correct color cushions and wanted to send the extra box back but they told me to keep them. I was happy about that. I live in a climate that experiences all 4 seasons and my backyard is South facing which means sun exposure all day with temps into the high 90's / low 100's in the summer at altitude. Over the last 3 years, my sofa set has held up extremely well. The wicker looks just as good as it did when I first got it and the fabric on the cushions have not faded. We've had a couple of spills and it has come out very easily. The only complaint I have has to do with the underside of the cushion cover that keeps the elements out. If you drape it over the back of the sofa and expose it to the sun, it will yellow. You must be deligent about rolling the cover and tucking it behind the cushions. Not a big deal. I would highly recommend purchasing from Outer. Very happy with the product and customer service.

I had an excellent experience with Outer. I purchased a sectional and a chair and have been so happy with them: very high quality and stylish. I love the attached "outershell" cushion protectors--I can easily cover the cushions at night or in bad weather so that the cushions stay dry and clean. I had to make some exchanges after my initial purchase and the customer service was outstanding; they really made the process effortless. I am so happy with my purchase and highly recommend this company and their products.

I am very happy with my Outer purchase. I’ve never seen outdoor sofas that are more beautiful and practical at the same time. They have a premium look and have lasted through the various weather conditions really well everyone still compliments me about my backyard set up. The best part is that any stain comes right off, so despite having two cats and using sofas as place we dine, they do not look aged or weathered. It has been over two years and they still look great! By the way, I highly recommend the OEM cover sold by outer. It fits the furniture like a tailored suit and is very easy to put on and off as the weather requires. I was choosing between Outer and RH and still feel I made the right decision.

I’ve had my Outer furniture for years now and could not be happier. I love the covers that keep it dry on rainy days. Love that when it does get wet, it dries very quickly. It’s gorgeous to look at and looks like I just bought it. Highly recommend.

We have had our outer couch for 4 years now and it’s still in such great shape! The wicker material still looks new and the cushions have not lost its shape. My favorite part is the built in covers. I highly recommend outer for anyone looking for outdoor furniture that will last

Excellent Customer Service/ Fantastic Product. I ordered the aluminum outdoor sofa with a full cover and a stone coffee table. Everyone who comes to our house - raves how comfortable and beautiful our furniture is. It stands the test of time and the zipper covers are absolutely amazing in protecting from the Idaho elements. In ordering I called Outer a few times to ensure I was getting the perfect setup for our space. They were so helpful and listened and provided fantastic feedback. Now I am eyeing an outdoor table and chairs and a firepit.

Very pleased with my Outer sofas. The quality is solid. I love the fold up cover with the cushions. The details with the Velcro straps in the base and cushions keep bottom cushions in place. The sofa is very comfy. We live in the mountains and get intermittent bad weather. I’m really happy knowing I can Cary the cushions in fast or at least cover them. Fairly easy set up as well. Product was exactly as described in line. When I had questions about my delivery I contacted Outer and got a reply in about a week. When my items were being shipped, I was sent an update to get ready for delivery. I wish I could attach photo to show how nice the product is. Happy customer here.
