First time renting a unit of this type…
First time renting a unit of this type and so sceptical but 7 months later we know we made the right decision with Lock Stock. Seamless from day 1, the container was clean, remained dry throughout in secure, well lit sites.
Can’t fault the Lock Stock team - great experience!

Absolutely awful experience. The storage container I was given was damp, mouldy, and completely unfit for purpose. From the moment I opened it, there was a strong musty smell and visible mould on the walls. This is not what you expect when trusting a company with your belongings.
When I raised concerns, they were brushed off with excuses rather than solutions. No urgency, no accountability, and certainly no proper customer service. I ended up worrying constantly about damage to my items, which defeats the entire point of using a storage facility.
For a company advertising “secure” storage, this was anything but. Damp, mould, poor communication, and zero care for customers. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re happy risking your belongings.

Following a detailed and rigorous investigation, we have been unable to find any record of a booking, container allocation, complaint, or correspondence that matches the experience described. This includes checks across our customer database, site records, maintenance logs, and communication history. We have also cross-checked related feedback left on other platforms to ensure no genuine interaction has been overlooked.
All of our containers are inspected before hire, kept off the ground, ventilated, and monitored as part of our routine site checks. Any report of damp or mould would be treated as a priority and addressed immediately; however, we can find no evidence that such an issue was ever raised with us.
If you believe this review has been posted in error, or if there are details we may be missing, we invite you to contact us directly with your name, site location, and booking reference so we can investigate further.
We are always open to resolving genuine concerns and stand by the standard of service we provide to our customers.

Great company
Very easy to deal with. Clear instructions. Super safe. Just needed to store items for a few months whilst i found a new flat. When i was ready to clear out it couldnt have been simpler. Would definitely recommend to others.

Needed Temporary Storage - Great Service!
I needed a temporary storage unit urgently and I was very impressed with the whole setup! Instructions were easy to follow and the experience was very smooth. Vacating the storage unit was also equally hassle free and very straight forward. I would highly recommend this service and if I needed a storage unit in future, I will be back.

Great storage container
We had a storage container for just over a year during a house move everything was dry and safe and that was the main thing. We Had no issues at all

Great, no hassle storage
From start to finish everyone I spoke to at Lock Stock was really helpful and the whole process was really straightforward. The unit and the site felt very secure and we had no issues at all with anything. I'd definitely recommend using them!

Convenient and easily accessible
Really easy to use, lovely clean and insulated unit. We found it safe and convenient with no problems whatever. It made it possible to have work done in my house with all my belongings safely stored for six months and also accessible whenever I needed something.

Great if you don't know how long you need it for
I needed storage for an unknown length of time and Lock Stock offered a monthly charge with no notice period when I needed to vacate.
Everyone I spoke to was helpful and friendly.
The storage yard was secure out of normal working hours, coded access gate and container easy to find with good instructions and communications upon sign-up. More than one key was provided which was helpful.

Perfect for our house move.
Had a 10 foot unit for a while at Llandudno but soon filled so then got a 20 foot for nearly 6 months. Manager was very helpful at every stage. Easy access and very secure. Took the unit off hire yesterday and then soon received the deposit & credit paperwork.
Would recommend to anyone thanks for a Great service.
