The white sheen on the chocolate is sugar bloom, which happens when chocolate is exposed to a change in temperature in transit or storage. It is completely natural, and the bars are perfectly safe to eat.
These are the Hazelnut Snickers rather than the standard Peanut bar, and they have a different ingredient list. The taste is genuinely different from a normal Snickers, and we appreciate that it won't suit everyone — reviews like yours help us make sure the product description is as clear as it can be.
