Do not shop from Lulu Hypermarket. Quit expensive and they do not accept return even with a manufacturer defect. Avoid any purchase if you are a pilgrim. Location : Makkah, Zouk Khalil Gate 6.

Fraud/refusal to initiate refund

Since 5th of January I placed and order and they cancelled the order from their end that their can't deliver it,since their system was having a glitch, despite the fact that I had placed the right address I wanted the order delivered to,the later wanted to deliver it to my home and when I told them I wanted it delivered to my place of work, they said it was not possible that they will cancel and do a refund, we used my colleague's phone to place the same order and they delivered it to my place of work and ever since then until now I'm writing this review I haven't received my refund, this happened in UAE(Abu Dhabi), one time one of their customer support sent an email claiming they have closed that case yet my refund is still pending. I regret ever shopping with them, very unprofessional staff and not loyal . I don't suggest anyone wasting time to order with them online because they will end up stealing your money

Selling expired items and labelling missing expiry date

I made a big shopping on the 27/12 from Lulu hypermarket in Ezdan /Doha and discovered some of the chocolate I bought expiring the same day with 12 months shelf life.. normally we don’t check expired date for every individual item. This was totally unacceptable 3/5 boxes are already expired same... some items I bought even don’t have expiry date and just mentioned 12 month shelf life no production or expiry dates.. shocking…I will certainly Will not shop from them again and don’t advice anyone to shop from them..

Really discussting waiting for the…

Really discussting waiting for the orders according scdule didn't follow, and when I called rider he' told so lazy answer that your order is not ready still ! Wait 1 hour more and it's completely waited 2 hours and even contacted rider he's not responding.
Please improve the service we are paying money for the orders not to free , really it's disgusting

No way to contact store if you are travelling

Lulu had bag packers who missed one item.

Lulu overcharged me on a reduced item and would not give me my 5 SR back. The customer service desk kept me waiting then I had to leave.

I looked online for email address. The people answering the email said we are the online team so contact the store. But gave no email. When I wrote back they declined to respond, just giving the this "we are closing ticket how we do" response. Useless. Avoid.

Delivery too slow! Poor customer service

I hope you will really improve as I don't think your customer service can help! I have ordered an items and have recieve sadly it's been a week of waiting now and still not receive it. it's been long waited for. Keep contacting your customer service and all I get is monotonous answer and no specific solution and answer to the queries.. very poor service!

Very disappointing after-sales service

Very disappointing after-sales service. I bought a washing machine from Lulu Supermarket Ajman warranted for 2-years, I raised a complaint on September 29, 2025, for a minor replacement – just the washplate, which is a common issue. The service center (FETSCO) collected the part on October 2, 2025, but as of today, October 14, 2025, the issue is still not resolved. The delay is unacceptable for such a simple repair. Poor communication and slow action from both the service center and the store.

Unsatisfied to experience



"I recently had a disappointing experience with ordering through the Lulu Hypermarket app(Kuwait). I placed an order for a utensil yesterday night (after 10 PM) with a total payment of 15 KD, and while the order was processed and payment deducted, I couldn't see an estimated delivery time. Waiting till 3 PM the next day didn't yield any updates.

Visiting a Lulu Hypermarket store led to them providing a contact number which turned out to be a robotic customer service response. Despite reaching out, I wasn't satisfied with the response and ended up cancelling the order.

My concern is the app doesn't seem to be functioning optimally, leading to confusion and unmet expectations for delivery. The customer service response time (stated as 7 days) doesn't align with what I'd expect from an e-commerce platform aiming for customer satisfaction.

This is my experience with Lulu Hypermarket's app ordering process. Potential customers might want to consider this when deciding to place orders."

Pls dont ever use their online…

Pls dont ever use their online shopping!! Esp upon ordering their meat and fish what you ordered online is not as what you expect! Ordered a local beef cubes fo 500 g, came back with 1 pc of beef shank. Yesterday ordered a beef spare ribs came with beef steak cut!! Worst is customer service called someone will pick up and change with a cut items and until now nobody ever came! Worst service, worst customer service! Never again!!

Dont care about customers health

Worse experience in lulu dubai outlet mall where cooked food serve 2 to 3 days untill that finishes. Playing with customers healths just to cover their losses. Lake of manpower, rude and frustrated staff. Cut fruits are smelling as those are also not fresh.

I purchased a 250 AED gift card from Lulu Hypermarket, but I never received it — not in-store, not by message, nothing. I sent multiple complaints and emails, yet they kept ignoring me and repeating the same excuse: “It’s not our responsibility.”
This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a service and was left with no product and no support.
Honestly, I feel scammed. If Lulu cannot take responsibility for what they sell, then customers should think twice before trusting them. Totally unprofessional Extremely disappointing service.

Read it carefully

The online staff doesn't know the specific details about the product. When ever I order online from Darsit lulu or anywhere in Oman my one or two products always gets cancelled. When ever I call they is always an communication issue maybe they dont have staff who speaks proper english which is universal language. Overall I am done with this nonsense and I hope there will be better company in future who would provide necessary facilitator the customers.

Lulu Kuwait online app

Lulu Kuwait online app , DONT order anything there specially if you are going to refund or exchange . The service they provide on call and what’s app and chat service through the app is the worse I have encountered in Kuwait! The communication with staff through that and even emailing them made me dislike ur service entirely . I made a refund a week ago the item was picked up on last Saturday so that makes it 5 days as of today and I just wanted to check when my refund will come since it’s going to be weekend and no banks working . They don’t reply and takes minimum 5 minutes just saying sorry and always send the feedback technical glitch . Ask the same question many times and it’s making ur clients get mad! I had to call customer care just to call and complain. Is this the kind of feedback back u expect to have ? Make some serious change of ur staff bcz I do not want to order from u again ! Disgrace !

This hypermarket chain has a decent…

This hypermarket chain has a decent selection of groceries, electronics, and home goods. It’s great for picking up everyday items, and I love that they often have sales and promotions, which can really help save some cash. However, sometimes it can get pretty crowded on weekends and it’s a hassle on the counters.. Very long lines.

The in-store experience was fantastic—everything was well-organized, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I found exactly what I needed without any hassle.
However, I did notice that their online options could use some improvement, but if you prefer shopping in person, this place is definitely worth a visit.
