Do not shop from Lulu Hypermarket. Quit expensive and they do not accept return even with a manufacturer defect. Avoid any purchase if you are a pilgrim. Location : Makkah, Zouk Khalil Gate 6.

The worst supermarket ever

The worst supermarket ever. Last week we bought dates from there. It had insects and worms in them. I have proof also of the same. Strict action need s to be taken againt the chain with regards to quality control. Many other items were also also spoilt including fruits, vegetables, biryani. Never ever going to that place again.

I had bought an Ikon iron from Lulu on…

I had bought an Ikon iron from Lulu on Aug 19th 202. The iron was defected. The plug split and exposed live wires which is a safety hazard for me and my kids. I tried returning it to Lulu on 25 DEC 2021 saying that a replacement plug will not give me enough confidence to use this again, regardless if it was replaced and need a different brand iron. The manager Ansar P.A said to send it to the manufacturer as see what they have to say once it comes back. I repeated that I will not take this iron back even if it was replaced as the plug can split again and exposed live wires can potentially electrocute my kids. He insisted to send it to the manufacturer to see what they have to say.
Today on 21 JAN 2022, I waited for min 30 min at the desk to give me the iron. I opened up the iron and found out that it was drenched in water which was wrapped in plastic. I said I will not take this back as this is an electronic item it now defective. But Ansar P.A kept on insisting that the iron needs to be sent to the manufacturer to get it looked at before he replaces the iron. This is their problem not mine, I just need a replacement iron and I will walk home. He again insisted that it need to first go to the manufacturer before he gives me a replacement. Then I called his manager Ajith V.B to address this concern, Ajith then went ahead and said that he will give me a replacement.
I spent an over all 2 hours in store just to get a replacement for my defective iron. Why do I have to spend soo much of time and effort and stress to do this. Going forward, I will NOT buy any electronics from Lulu, rather Amazon or Noon where returns is just a swipe of a finger. I will be posting this across all social media.

Worst Customer & Delivery Service

I usually order via WhatsApp from the nearest Lulu store in my area but since the delivery personnel was off that day I tried to order via the website. It's my first and last. I ordered a few items that were on sale. Delivery is set the following day between 10AM-1PM. Nobody came. No one called. I tried their chat, the replies where switching between bot and a personnel who does not even reply as fast as the bot. I tried to call their number, they said sorry there was a delay and the delivery will come after 1 hour. That was 2:15 PM. At 3:15 no one called. Nobody came. They called around 5 PM while I was cooking dinner about 3 times. When I called them back they said they already left. The guy was even like amused at my follow-up. I asked "What about my delivery then? I've been waiting since morning" He said ok we will come. They came already before 9PM. On top of that, they said some of the items were out of stock so they will refund the money. Yes, it will take a week before this happens. So yes, I will never ever order online from them again.

Very bad experience. So disappointing.

I will never buy in Lulu hypermarket online. I ordered for a pair of shoes online 2 weeks ago. When it was delivered , I received an incorrect pair (both left side) . Tried to message them , I sent email, I even went to one of their store hoping to replace it.But again they refer me to customer service, asked me to wait for 3 days . Its been 4 days now I never received any follow up. What will with this shoes? I'm a regular customer in lulu but I'm really very disappointed. I'll never get tired of writing a bad review until they give me a refund or replace this. Very bad experience.

Always late delivery.ordered ahead of time like 3days ago but delivered late.need to follow up your delivery with some excuses like traffic although time slot is 2pm to 5 pm yet already 5pm no one is calling

Eco Friendly

Shopping at Lulu and saw counter marked eco friendly. What a joke. They go paperless if give them your mobile number but don't explain that you need to give the number to not get the bill. My fault should have thought about it but the absolute worst is the amount of plastic bags they use at the eco friendly counter in which to pack everyone's groceries. Either go eco friendly or dont bother.

Don't Buy Online

First time I ordered online an earbuds and this will be the last. Their delivery was fast but they will delivery you a defective item. When you returned the item to customer service they will text you that it will take 21 days. Worst service.... don't buy online with them.

Worst service

The other reviews are very accurate. They just change the delivery times from 11 during the morning to 10 at night with no consideration that people must feed families. The phone lines close at 20:30 but we must stay up waiting for food to arrive until 22:00

Trick the customer with the sales price

It was on the 21st of September 2021 in the LULU Muteena branch Deira Dubai. I have been noticing this scam for quite some time that they trick the customer with the sales price for number chicken items in the shelf with mixing the SKUs for example they keep the price tag for 800g for sale for particular brand and they mix the other brands and 1000g or 900g with the same shelf. It happened to me number of times and I was thinking it was a mistake but this date I found out this is done purposefully . I was trying to talk to the outlet manager on the spot and he hid somewhere and never accessed me to talk to him. I was at a customer care with a petty boy who does not even know what is going on. please be aware of this trick/scam. After I made this complaint to the cashier she wasted around ten to fifteen minutes and exchanged me with another brand. again she made a billing error and I had to wait another ten to fifteen minutes to get the refund. I was really pissed and I still wonder what is going on with LULU.
After came home I found out that they have not returned the invoice to me. total disaster.

I was there to buy ADSL modem to use in my house in lebanon and aleady i chossed a one but the aales man there he told me all is same ADSL or not its no different after i bought its mot working there in lebanon , i went lulu after that they refused to exchange and i met Mohamad Shafi the manager there they said have to be less one month but i was out of the country and my reason to come not about the product not working at all its not working on ADSL LINE that what i was coming to buy before salesman Talking

Worst service ever.

Worst service ever.. i orderd 23 items and the delivery came with 9 items.. and when we asked where are the other things delivery boy simply says write an email to customer care.. it is the second time we r facing this issue.. first time we wrote an email and waited for their reply.. nothing came..so we asked the number of customer care and gave the details of products missing..i bought one chicken also but it was not even added in the bill 🙄 then they said they will send the missing items tomorrow.. after 5 mins one guy called and said am near to your building from lulu delivery and he is saying he is alone only😬.. why hez saying tat?? Is he trying to cover up something ?? And he delivered every missing items to us 🤭 so please check each and every items when you purchase bulkly from lulu..

Worst online delivery and extremely poor customer service…

I agree with the reviews posted about ordering through Lulu Online….WORST ever. They delivered some faulty and spoiled items. I immediately called them, requested for refund, and sent an email with images as well. Every time I am following it up, you’re getting different answers from customer service representatives, they seem as they are not reading and checking the details or emails properly. Until now, its taking 12-13 days and nothing has been refunded. Someone advised me of 24-48 hrs which is more realistic, then someone in the mail advised me 7-14 business days. There is no proper assistance and resolutions. There are no consistency as well on the details and informations they are advising the customers. Worst return and refund ever, especially it is not the customers fault. Even the Supervisor, didn’t assist, just reading his normal spiel. Unbelievable.

Never buy online on Lulu

Never buy online on Lulu, they have the worst customer service, late deliveries. It's unbelievable how bad this place is.

I Placed one order through online…

I Placed one order through online before one week , until now the item not yet delivered , when called their customer service they don't have any idea when it will get deliver. they just keep saying it will deliver today . but still the items not reached . worst service . i never buy anything from Lulu anymore .
