This firm clearly advertises an Exeter office and a team of people to help you. At the time of writing the text on their website is -

Our Exeter team is committed to being a proactive presence in the community, offering modern legal solutions in property, family law, Wills and probate while maintaining traditional standards of personal service, for clients across for clients across Exeter, Topsham, Exmouth, Tiverton and Devon." People are also pictured but I assume they are just stock photos that can be obtained anywhere.

This is simply not true. In the words of a member of their own staff -

"While there is an office in Exeter, this is a virtual one which is not manned. As such, while documents can be dropped of there to be sent to us, it is not a location where you can typically go for an appointment."

I didn't discover this until part-way through a very lengthy onboarding process and having a local office was important to me.

False or misleading information advertised on a website isn't a good look for a Law firm, in my opinion.

Good communication with Connor who kept me up to date during the first process and then seamlessly transferred me to the legal team.

Lyons Bowe were excellent in dealing with my house sale. Specific thanks to (1) Marco Camacho who guided me through the mountain of paperwork related to the enquiries process. (2) Naduni Fonseka in the Legal Team who finalised the process.
