First wheel folded under pressure which…
First wheel folded under pressure which was something I've never experienced and dangerous so they replaced for a better model but after 4 months I had to replace the freehub which wasn't done under warranty..
Since then I've had to buy 3 new freehub as they don't last and can't use actual shimano even though its stated as shimano.
I've spent more on freehubs over the last 9 months than a new wheel with genuine parts would cost. Can't recommend.
I suggest buying a wheel from elsewhere where you can actually use genuine products not these cheap Chinese parts especially the freehub.
Reply. The wheel was still under warranty but I had to buy new freewheels and pay for postage and repairs if I return the wheel for inspection/repair. Not acceptable

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way.
When the original issue occurred, we replaced the wheel as a goodwill gesture because customer satisfaction is very important to us.
Several months later, a replacement freehub was purchased from our website without any issue being reported to us at that stage. We supplied the replacement part as you ordered. You later contacted us again regarding further freehub issues and mentioned that the freehub had been replaced multiple times. However, only one replacement freehub was purchased from us directly.
It is important to clarify that this hub system is only compatible with the specific freehub model supplied for the hub, and replacement freehubs for this system are only available directly from us. As multiple freehub replacements were mentioned, despite only one having been purchased from us, we became concerned there may have been compatibility or fitting issues involving third-party parts contributing to the repeated problems reported.
For this reason, we requested on several occasions for the wheel to be returned to us for full inspection so we could properly investigate the cause and provide a resolution. Unfortunately, the wheel was never returned to us, which meant we were unable to verify the condition of the hub/freehub assembly or determine the exact cause of the repeated issues reported.
We always try our best to support customers fairly and professionally and would have been more than happy to inspect the wheel and assist further had it been returned to us.

Very quick response to questions. I had made a mistake with the order. Madspeed7 emailed me to confirm the order, pointing out the error. I adjusted the order and received the wheels the next day. Very good customer service.

Don't expect much in the way of support!
I ordered on a set of wheels on the 24/3. The Parcelfarce driver chose to ignore our workshop, and tried to deliver to a house next door, (twice, if you believe the driver.) Not Madspeed's fault, but they did nothing to try and resolve the situation. I tried to get it redelivered to my Post Office, but it's still at the delivery depot. Not Madspeed's fault, but they have done nothing!
By law, they haven't fulfilled the contract, so should offer a full refund, but they've done nothing!
I've raised it with my card provider, so the refund is no longer an issue for me. But I've lost a customer and what I thought was going to be a good wheel supplier.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration.
To clarify for transparency, the delivery address provided was not recognised within the courier network, which resulted in failed delivery attempts. As delivery is dependent on a valid and recognised address, this unfortunately prevented the parcel from being successfully delivered.
Following this, you requested via the ParcelForce website for the parcel to be redirected to a local Post Office for collection. Unfortunately, this request was not actioned by ParcelForce.
We also made several attempts to contact ParcelForce to arrange redelivery and to redirect the parcel as requested. However, we did not receive any response from them during this period, which meant we were unable to progress the delivery further. We understand they are currently experiencing operational disruption, which may have contributed to the delays.
As the parcel remained within the courier network and had not been returned to us, we were initially unable to issue a refund. However, due to the lack of response from the courier, we proceeded to issue a full refund to resolve the matter, despite the parcel still being in transit and not yet returned to us.
We fully understand how frustrating this situation is, and we share that frustration. While this was outside of our control, we did make every effort to resolve it from our side.

I’m very late leaving this review…
I’m very late leaving this review unlike Madspeed who were very quick to safely deliver the wheels that I ordered and also very quick to sort out an issue that I had.
I can’t praise them enough for their swift resolution of my problem or for their speedy communications throughout the process.
Should I ever need another wheelset then Madspeed will be my first port of call.

Great lightweight wheels at a bargain price
Ordered the wheels from madspeed 7 with discount. Great price and better than wheels I've paid twice as much for previously. The wheels are light and came fitted with the cassette. They've added speed to my road bike and the hubs are very smooth. Great addition to my bike.
