The stress of dealing with this clinic may as well have made my skin problem so much worse. I had three separate consultations with Dr. Sana and this is my third and final one. I had been prescribed over the counter creams which I had been using for months anyway and know are not effective. Both previous consultations left me feeling disappointed and hopeless, so I hoped this final one will finally show Dr. Sana the severity of my condition and the lack of progress by her treatment plan.

I had shown her how my skin condition was worsening and how we clearly needed a different strategy, to which she agreed and prescribed me steroid creams to fight the inflammation. I am aware how careful one must be with steroid creams and thankfully Dr. Sana reassured me that I can come back after three days of use so she can see my skin’s reaction to the new treatment.

By this point I had spent easily over £100 in creams prescribed by her but I finally got a different one so I hoped it will be better this time around.

Unfortunately, the new treatment did not work and it didn’t show any progress within those 3 days. I figured it might be too early to tell so I called once more to see Dr. Sana after the 3rd day so she examines how my skin is reacting with the steroid creams by her request, as she explained this is very important.

To my surprise Dr. Sana had forgotten to mention that she wasn’t working that Thursday and Friday, even though on Monday she told me that it’s very important for my health she sees me 3 days after. I felt completely neglected and overwhelmed as at that point I wasn’t sure what the next course of action is. I tried having the receptionist contacting her but at the time of writing I have not been contacted by her despite the fact she asked me to come in on that day.

Overall, I’ve lost money, time and effort going to Manchester Dermatology Clinic. What’s worse I fear my condition has gotten worse and I know need to find a different dermatologist who can provide me the care and treatment I expected from Dr. Sana and the wider team.

Do not go there if you value your health and just find a different clinic.

I went for a session and I will not be going back. During consultation the nurse kept trying to tell me that intramuscular injection is the best way for the vitamins to work, I went ahead to opt for the IV option. This should take around 30 mins and be released gently. To my surprise, when she came to start on me, I asked how long my session would take and she said 5 minutes, I was not sure I heard correctly and asked again, then she started and I knew why. she found my vein and went ahead to give me an injection in the vein. I don't know at what point during my consultation I mentioned that I was alright with that. I guess she had somewhere else to be and was not bothered to give proper service. The receptionist tried to get me to pay ahead for 6 appointments, using discounts. There is no professional certification showing in the reception or the consultation room, meaning that the qualifications of the people giving these treatments is not known.

Dr Sana removed a wart from my face very painlessly and quickly. The service in the clinic was great and I was made to feel very comfortable.

I called Manchester dermatology clinic a week ago for a Lipoma removal. I had previously had a bad experience at another clinic therefore I wanted to do some research on the Dr i would be seeing for treatment. When i asked the lady on the phone for the name of the Dr i would be seeing and their GMC number the lady hung up on me. A gentleman did call me later and said they would provide me these details when they had them. I also checked the Care Quality Commission website and this compnay is not registered. A week later no call no details. I have since booked with another company who were more than happy to provide their Drs details and GMC number.

Great service from reception all the way through to aftercare for mole removal.

Spoke through all options with no pressure to pick anything there and then. Having had the previous experiences elsewhere with heavily inflated prices for just a consultation, it was nice to go somewhere more realistic and (for now) a free consultation.

Shout out to Dr Sana, would highly recommend! If you’re thinking about doing it, just do it and do it here!

Came in for a skin tag removal, consultation was super quick and easy and within the hour I was leaving behind one of my biggest insecurities! Would 100% recommend.
