So these people are the folks that our parking issues are outsourced too. So all the parking on double yellow lines, zigzags etc it's down to these clowns to deal with it.

However they have no real interest in dealing with it. They won't issue penalties to anyone unless their "enforcement officers" witness it. (Imagine the police having that philosophy)

Doesn't matter how much photographic evidence is provided, clear breaches of law they won't act.

Well, I never thought in a million years that I would be writing a 5* positive review for this company, but here goes.. I had received a letter giving me 2 weeks to pay 2 fines for the Dart Charge (this was the first I'd heard of it as I had moved) Phoned Marston's explaining this which they confirmed and tried to set up an arrangement. The RUDE BULLY I spoke to was demanding me to pay the lot over 2 months at £177 pm which I said I couldn't do and explained that I have bi-polar disorder and therefore am a vulnerable customer and wanted to be put through to their welfare dept. She wouldn't have any of it and said if I don't pay then they would be round to take my stuff, so I had no choice to pay. This left me in a state. 3 days later I called them again as I hadn't been sleeping and was spiralling, I was ready for another bully, but a really nice and empathetic man called Hamzah answered and he was a star. He apologised for the way I had been treated and logged a complaint for me. He also took me through the procedure for vulnerable clients and put my case on hold for 30 days pending medical evidence and also time to appeal my case directly with Dart Charge. I cannot tell you how professional and sensitive he was. He definitely deserves a promotion. I felt instantly better. Thanks Hamzah

Absolutely livid

I’ve logged a complaint for reference L047911 nearly 3 weeks ago because I never received the first notification and have had no proof of any offence. I’ve had no acknowledgment of my complaint but had just had a new letter come through my door, delivered by hand, with a massive increase

When I tried calling proper to my complaint I reached an automated service that cut me off after several minutes.

Hopefully no one has the displeasure of dealing with this company. My daughter didn’t receive the letters so when MR MGARRY the bully turned up she had no clue who he was. He wanted £395 there and then so made sure to threaten to take her car and up the payments by 500 if it wasn’t all paid. She offered 300 then to pay 95 in 9 days so she had money for food but he wouldn’t accept it. She is 14 weeks pregnant and ended up hyperventilating due to this bully. This company needs investigating as the next vulnerable person they deal with might end up trying to find another way out due to their bullying behaviour!

These people are absolutely evil. £2.00 Mersey flow as you can’t pay like you can at normal tolls as I was unwell forgot and paid 7 days later yet £382 demand or I will come into your home and take your belongings yet I has no letters nothing. Looking in my car which is via mobility ain’t mine to take absolute evil humans, the world has gone mad innocent people who are unwell and rob them of what they have don’t care about anyone and not even a court order, no ID legally can’t do it but they prey on people and don’t care, I am unwell over all of this.

Hand delivered and written letter shoved through my door. Didn't even knock. The qr code on the letter isn't even linked or legit, takes you to broken foreign link. Trying to get me to pay a statute barred debt. Yeah right bye then ! Bunch of clowns

So I've apparently been done for littering in Newcastle, had somone called Mrs Maidstone contact me saying there's a warrant for forced entry to my old adress and one for my new one. I apparently owe £697.. Absolute appalling company couldn't give me any information towards the wine and kept saying "were not obliged to give that kind of information. no reference number no official paper work. Email etc... but contact off a mobile number... very unlawful and absolutely absurd

Absolutely disgusting organisation.

I had not paid a Bridge Crossing (£2.00) the next thing I know there is a bully at my door saying if I don't give him £389 he will be taking my car. I explained that I'd had no paperwork from a court or anything. "You've had it" was his blunt retort, though he couldn't prove it. When I insisted he prove it he showed me his tablet which didn't show much at all. I asked how I could verify the legitimacy of things but he grew impatient, became aggressive and put a clamp on my car, threatening to charge me another £110.00. When I went to get my angle grinder to cut it off, he called 999.

These people are bullies. Sometimes mistakes happen, sometimes paperwork gets lost. The man in question had no interest in clarifying anything, he came to throw his weight around. He thought he was "well hard" but was a little comical as he looked very much like Peter Kay when he plays Max the Bouncer. So because he's shaved his head and grown a goatie he things he's Tyson Fury. He started going on about my attitude as though he were a police officer and I think that these people are, after all, people who never made it into the police or organised crime but still want to shove people around. When I relayed this to him, he seemed to think he was doing God's work saying he would often chase paedophiles and rapists for money. I doubt it somehow.

That this individual acted as he did
is no surprise really. Who watches Can't Pay, Take it Away and thinks "I'd like to do that". And the organisation who employs these power hungry people is doubtless less than wholesome. However, what I would say is that I'd seriously question the ethics and professionalism of any organisation who hires Marston. Organisations such as Merseyflow!

Unlawfully entered our premises to disconnect the electricity when they should've gone next door. Looks like we'll have to sue them for redress as they're being belligerent and won't pay-up:(

They wouldn’t even be getting one star if there was a choice. Mr I Morley what a horrid vile human you are. Called me a dirty slxx on the phone, when I rang him back to say I’ve spoken to the vulnerability team, and you are not to come to my house again, he said he would and was laughing. I’ve got the recording and sent it to head office. Remember if you have any form of vulnerabilities and you have proof (get a medical report from doctors (FREE)they have no right to enter your house and it needs to be dealt within the vulnerability team via telephone. Also if you use your car for work like a support work and the car is under 1300 pound they can’t take it, or for a disabled badge is in the car. Remember do not let them in your house they are just vile bullies who think they have power. Horrid horrid person Mr Morley

The WORST fkn company, the man behind it believes his doing a good job ripping people off. His mum is making more money than him just by leaking her tapes ! ridiculous

Spoke to a Mr. Lodge at Marston Recovery, I had some valid queries about my case and information pertaining to the matter, seeking clarification and resolution. I was treated in a patronising and rude tone from beginning to end, they could not have been more unpleasant and unhelpful in resolving anything, they threatened me with further litigation and then cut the call.

This speaks to the utter desperation of an individual embroiled in the money-grabbing, life-destroying, opportunism of pure and rancid, unhinged & unadulterated thuggery in the first degree. It has been made very apparent that if you're not working for a criminal syndicate then you'll find yourself working for Marston Holdings. It appears that even if you do follow lawful proccedure in order to resolve any potential cases against you, they will endevour to continue seeking their pound of flesh, regardless of any undertakings.

My advice to other victims of this corrupt and vile organisation, is to not seek their assistance with any matter put to you, you will be chewed up and spat out indefinitely, without recourse. Jump through whatever hoops you need to in order to deal with their clients before considering calling Mr. Lodge and his scumbag associates.

Never deal with this company and always remove the rights of access of dealing with Marston and there employees Marston is scum company a private company shouldn’t have the right to have your information the breach of data protection act ( GDPR ) never open your to Marston or any private company demands money

Set up direct debit to pay off fine, they didn’t take the money and instead sent bailiff’s round to my house. I then had to pay the bailiffs even tho I’d set up a payment plan with them. They now owe me money and have done since before Christmas, I have rang many times and sent emails and nobody has got back to me !!!

Absolutely vile people. Turned up at 7am in a enterprise van, big bulky men, rang my phone, didnt speak to me like a human being at all, said he was outside taking my car. Ive gone outside and asked him to explain what is happening as i didnt know about the debt, hes shoved his ipad in my face and said i need to pay 510 now or hes taking my car! Wouldnt speak to me wouldnt explain anything, it was pitch black and i live in the middle of nowhere with no buses, with 2 small children. No payment plan was offered. He treated me like i wasnt even a human being! All this 2 weeks after christmas and whilst having a miscarriage. Like i said absolutely vile people

These people must be idiots. I recieved a random phonecall from a private mobile phone number saying that I owe money for a traffic violation and he could send me a link where I could pay 500 quid.

Obviously sounds like a scam, as there was no validation. He gave me a case number and Marston Holdings as a business.

I've since tried to contact them by email, phone and chat. The email they don't respond to. The phone system and chat requires my adress as security confimation. But the kicker is... they have the WRONG address.

That is why I haven't been reciving letters in the first place, someone gave them the wrong adress for me. Which is why (if this company is legit) I haven't been paying the bills, but now it also means I can't actually confirm this is not a scam because they won't let me discuss the case as I don't know what wrong adress they have for me.

How stupid. I need the incorrect address they have to talk to them. But how could I possibly know an address that is incorrect?

Mr Nicholls (They call themselves Mr, Mrs Ms, to make themselves feel important and to give themselves anonymity) turned up at our previous address to hand deliver what appeared to be an official letter demanding £508 for driving through a clean air zone 6 months beforehand. I called the council in question and the operative was very helpful, telling me that the actual amount I owed was £200 (Marston Recovery had added £300 for their trouble hence the title), however since I hadn't received any notice to this prior to hearing from Marston, they submitted a re-issue of the initial charge of £69 (£60 plus the original £9 clean air zone charge) which I paid, saving myself £439 off of what Marston were scaremongering me into paying. Ignore the threats and sense of urgency they apply and the alternatives they threaten.
Don't pay Marston Recovery, they are just feeding off of people's misfortune, contact the authority direct and they should be able to sort you out.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Beware of Mr Elamin, he is threatening and horrid. Very unnecessary, really disgusting company
