Pat McDonnell Paints Avis 

i visited the store at Centre Park road this morning trying to source a particular colour which was proving difficult.
I had the good fortune to meet with Edel who could not have been more helpful and kind. having explained what i needed she within a few minutes returned with a colour of which i took a sample . it was a perfect match, exactly what we had given up hope of finding.
I have dealt with Edel in the past and her helpfulness and willingness to solve a search is exceptional.
it is a pleasure to do business at this store everyone is positive, patient and helpful.

A great customer experience with their store in Limerick. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was dealing with a high pigmented paint and their advice was invaluable. And... they deliver. The staff, Daniel in particular, could not be more accommodating. I would highly recommend this company for anything to do with paint etc.

This place is a treasure for everything for the painter/decorator,even novices like myself. The real treasure though, is the staff who are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, in particular Jamie who looked after me today with the patience and humour of a Saint! Ordered paint and it arrived at my door a few hours later by Aidan who was brilliant. Love local businesses.

Totally disappointed in advice,I was told that the mixed paint I was sold it will be enough for room 5 ltr, I explained that the room is big and they kept saying that it was enough 5 ltr for 85.00 euros but it wasnt enough i had to go back and ordered another 2.5 ltr for 60.00 euro I was shocked with the price I went the following day to check if I was charged right and I was told those are the prices with no satisfaction i told him this is riducuilos he didnt even bother and we open the lid there wasn't 2.5 lts is was only 2 I will never shop here again. My money and time were wasted, I might as well have just gone to regular shop, maybe that's why the shop it was empty no customer service at all

The online service at Pat McDonnell Paints was excellent. I ordered the paint and it was delivered by hand the next day. There is also no delivery charge.The price was cheaper than Woodies or B&Q.

I ordered some varnish on friday evening and it was at my front door on monday lunchtime! Brilliant service from Pat McDonnell and from Adian, the delivery man!!

Totally disappointed in advice and customer service. I was told that the paint I was sold didn't need an undercoat. It did. I was told I needed 2.5 litres and 1 litre would have done the job. When I went back to the shop to complain about needing undercoat I got no satisfaction. There was no manager on duty and I was told by a staff member I would have to buy another tin of paint. I will never shop here again. My money and time were wasted when I went looking for professional advice. I might as well have just gone to Homebase and read the tins myself. I would have done better.

We visited Pat McDonnells paint today in Limerick as two working professionals and had the worst customer service imaginable. The shop was extremely quiet with one other customer to be served with two people working. We waited in the shop for twenty minutes and nobody asked if we needed any help. After waiting up to twenty minutes the man working there asked if we needed anything as we were walking out the door and was extremely rude. We explained that we have just bought a house and were looking for paint for the entire premises but his attitude remained completely ignorant as he leaned on the counter and proceeded to chew his chewing gum. I would strongly advise not visiting this paint shop as the customer service is shocking. Will not be visiting again.
We spent 530 euro elsewhere in a paint shop over the road in Albany Home Decor and received excellent customer service.

Quite obvious by my experience that customers are an inconvenience in this shop.The attitude and rudeness I experienced is not acceptable.Should have left my 170 quid to a company elsewhere.

To be honest the staff are not so much rude as clueless. Co-op down the road completely got what I was asking for.
