Metro plumb, excellent service, very quick in coming out, even though it was a Sunday. The engineer/plumber was Very pleasant, friendly and polite, can't fault the service they provide
The gentleman who turned up was very professional and polite. He fixed my leak in no time. I would highly recommend.
The lady at Hometree Insurance said I would receive a call from Metroplumb shortly. Having not heard from them after 3 hours I rang. I was told that the engineer was on another job and with me in 1 to 1.5 hours and would ring when on the way. I was happy with that. An hour or so later the engineer arrived having not rung but I could have lived with that had it not been for what followed. He rang the door bell with no tools in hand. I showed him the problem of a leaking pipe below the sink. I had turned off the stop cock to stop the leak which meant no water at all in the house. The man then said he would have to go phone his boss, commenting only that it looked like a complicated job. He came back ten minutes later to say that he would not be mending the pipe. All his job would be is to stop the leak and then the homeowner would have to contact their home insurance company. This was total nonsense of course. Hometree repair leaks I told him. He told me that it often happens that his company are called out for repairs but all they can do is isolate the water! And then he left me to phone back Hometree and tell them what had happened. When I chased it with Hometree his report said it would take several hours and could not be done for another 3 days. In the end I had to find another company who were here by 8am the next day and had the job done in just 25 minutes.
Prakash Singh of Metro Plumbing and Heating, was friendly, kind, very neat and extremely skillful. He did a more than excellent job changing my kitchen pipe that was leaking. He knew exactly was the cause was, and charged me reasonably. He is definitely a great asset for the company. Well done, Prakash.
Awful. Didn’t know what they were doing - told me my floor would need to be ripped up as I had a leak.
The same day clarion housing came - looked at the leak too, TIGHTENED the nut.. stopped the leak!! If I had listened to metro I would have had half my kitchen floor ripped up all for a loose nut!!!
I am still waiting for a call back it's 21.05 pm, the engineer must
be busy. I'll wait, & allow the him time, it's new years eve. Hopefully the issue l raised will be addressed, in due course.

I purchased a new bathroom with installation from Wickes, they sent Metro Plumb to do the installation. From day one, these guys were horrendous. They ruined my very first brand new bathroom. It’s been two months and I’m still trying to get all the issues resolved. They lied, they gaslighted, and then they just stopped showing up. The actual definition of trade cowboys. Awful.
Very efficient and friendly service. Speedy response time too, especially as they had to travel over an hour to get to us over Christmas time. Thank you!
Great service from Lee. Came round straight away. Massive shower leak in our brand new house. He went above and beyond to find and stop it. Would highly recommend.
