Avoid even through Amazon

Ordered 2 chairs through Amazon. Both were supposed to be delivered on the 2nd of Feb. Neither have been dispatched to date (6th Feb).

Have tried to cancel this order with absolutely no success. I was told it'll take 24-48 hours. Then a further 24 hours. Then another 72 hours. Today I get an email it'll be delivered on Tuesday the 10th Feb.

Amazon can't contact the seller, nobody can do anything, and I'm £300 down for a product that judging on other reviews will either never arrive or be faulty.

Very poor order 3 rose bushes artificial only 2 turned up message seller they said be here 2 days now 6 days bull get my money back go eleswhere only getting 1.6 stars on trustpilot stay clear people been warned ⚠️

Air dehumidifier

I bought an air humidifier, payed 110 pounds. It stopped working just like that and I contacted them if there's anything they can do. The agent said it had a year guarantee till 13th January 2026. I wrote on the 14th of January... he said nothing he can help me with now. A humidifier for 100 pounds lasted a year??? Horrible experience, I would discourage to buy any products from them as it seems they last only short term and no help is available later.

Excellent customer service and quality product

I bought a bed from MHStar through Tesco Market place just before Christmas 2025 - HOMCOM 3.1FT Single Bed Frame with Storage Headboard and Under Bed Storage - It arrived exactly on time in perfect condition - Bed is remarkably well engineered and even I could put it together following the instructions. And when I thought there was a problem with a nut and bolt I emailed MHStar on 27th to complain. Their customer service team replied on 28th December'25 to offer help - And I had to apologise to them - there was nothing wrong with the nut and bolt it was me - I wasn't using the alankey in combination with the spanner - everydays a schoolday, now I know!
Speak as you find - I can't praise MHstar enough for their product and their service.

Do not purchase online with any big company that uses MH Star as a provider!

I ordered something urgently online at Robert dyas and today at 7pm I received an email from ‘MH Star Doncaster’ confirming ‘your parcel is with DHL and due for delivery today’. I was obviously concerned by this, as it was already 7pm when this email was received and it is unlikely DHL are delivering at such late times.
I then checked the tracking directly with DHL and it shows there was an ‘intervention’ (no idea what this means). I then get notified by DHL that my parcel was not given to them by the sender.

If you are confused by my review; then you can understand how confused I am with this information. I have looked at reviews from MH Star and to my surprise they are absolutely awful and people rarely receive their items. Most calling this third party provider a scam.

At no point when ordering this item directly with Robert dyas was it stated they have a third party company dealing with my order. If this was confirmed, I would have checked reviews and most definitely not ordered.

I will never purchase with Robert dyas again and would advise anyone who is ordering online to avoid/check MH star reviews themselves.

I have no idea where my parcel is, who I am meant to contact and highly suspect I will not receive my item like many others. I would like Robert dyas/MH Star to address my concerns and provide me with an accurate tracking of my order, or I will take this further.

This company should be banned

This company should be banned. Horrible to deal with, they hide behind other companies to sale and promise fake delivery time especially this Christmas, They ruined my family Christmas wit their fake" delivery before Christmas "
The customer service is horrible, lies after lies and no accountabily whatsoever.
They will do anything to refuse to refund despite their dishonesty!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Don't use these cowboys.
I ordered a dog crate for Xmas on the 25th of November, I watched it being scanned daily at the XDP delivery depot for over two weeks, I emailed the range the shop I had bought it through and got told it was on its way (three times that happened) I then used the XDP chat feature - yes it would be delivered. The next day it didn't arrive so went to use XDP chat and shocker they have turned it off as they are clearly in over their head. Next day I look and the range have requested the item returned by MH Star request. So the Xmas dog crate I actually NEED is now not coming and it's the 15th, I decided to chance it and buy a replacement from B&Q hoping it might still get here on time but to my absolute horror guess who the stockist is on the confirmation email...MH Star 🤦🏻‍♀️ it is now the 24th and the item has been sat in collection depot since the 15th and is apparently lost this time, who knows if I will ever get the item but yeah my point AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My chair was delivered as said and just what I wanted.

I ordered my chair and the company kept me up to date with delivery, which was a bit of a muddle as Amazon Shipping didn’t have big enough vehicle at local depot. It was finally delivered the day they said be it at 7.45pm but it was a lovely young man who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
No complaints from me..

The missing parcel

Had a delivery and it was left on the end of my drive and then stolen never approach the house I have photo of it my son l law went get the parcel and it was gone,he check his camera and it on the drive someone mas have been following his van🤬🤬

SCAM horrendous experience

SCAM horrendous experience. Still don't even have my money back. Ordered from the range who use this company as a supplier. The range say there chasing my refund but these guys aren't even interested in giving it. Shocking. Reading the rest of these comments make me think I won't even get it AVOID

VERY POOR d item from Ebay at a great…

Purchased item from Ebay at a great price that I have the screenshot of. RHSTAR failed to honour this by saying they had no more stock of that item when I already purchased it. Also they had similar item in stock. Do not trust this seller when they are unable to fulfill the order

Misleading

I ordered from MH Star at 6:53am, well before the advertised 12pm cut-off for free next day delivery. Despite this, I was later told delivery would take 2–3 working days. This is misleading and not what was promised at the time of purchase. It caused inconvenience as I relied on the next day delivery offer. I’ve asked MH Star for an explanation and a gesture of goodwill to reflect the delay and inaccurate advertising.

Scammers

One star because it is impossible to give zero stars.
I purchased a settee but instead received a chair (purchase via Debenhams). There is no phone line, only an email to contact for return. I contacted them straight away after the delivery to arrange a return I received a reply they would investigate it. Further contact has been cut, no replies to my emails. It appears they don’t want to accept returns - what do you investigate?! You should just start a return process. No return address given.
To add to it, at the time of purchase I paid extra £7.99 for instant assistance/return instead of any issues - as you can imagine no reply from them too. Scammers so stay away

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID THESE CHUMPS!!
Item did not arrive on time. 4 days over due and no explanation or updated delivery time.
Barely literate vendor failed to deliver the item to a specified Collection Point, then tried to blame me for not being at home to receive the parcel - a parcel that never left the depot to start with.
Solution - vendor must try to grow a backbone, gain self respect and generally be less crap. Then its just a short climb out of the pan and onto the toilet floor.

I updated my delivery instructions tions this morning fully expecting mo notice to be taken and gircmy neighbour to take delivery fir me.However I was very pleasantly surprised that the driver followed my instructions tions to a T.I have a mo ility issue so it takes longer forcme to reach the door and answer the intercom phone.

Do not buy from this company!

Order a chair in July. Very unsturdy, asked to return. Took at least 40+ emails, to get it picked up after they tried every trick in the book not to refund me. Finally got refund on October 22nd after going through Resolver to help. Awful company, do not respond to emails, automated message says answer in 7 days, they do not!
Please save yourself a hard time and but elsewhere. No phone number for company so only emails, the CEO doesn't even respect mail.
