Recently undertaken two cataract operations. Care on both was exceptional

Thought I was having routine cataract surgery but other problems came to light. Everything was explained in detail from Mr Park and I was made to feel at ease. The whole team are extremely professional and nurse Carmen was lovely and supportive throughout the whole procedure. Would highly recommend this clinic

Really quick and efficient treatment (laser capsulotomy) The doctor put me completely at ease and the total time taken from my arrival at the clinic was around 20 minutes - excellent service.

I will struggle to explain how impressed I was with Midland eye. Having had laser surgery with a different clinic 18 years prior, the difference in care, support and clinical excellence has been night and day. Truly an excellent service. I had multiple appointments, medications and a treatment plan, all based from my initial appointment with no additional costs even before agreeing to surgery.

Professor Shah and the team were amazing, only proceeding after many consultations and planning. The surgery result has been excellent so far, and I have no hesitation thoroughly recommending Midland Eye Clinic to anyone who is considering optical surgery. Quality!!

I had a pre-op consultation prior to having cataract surgery. The appt. was made less than 3 weeks after the referral. The whole appt. seeing a nurse initially and then a consultant surgeon took less than 30 mins. Everything was explained clearly and I was impressed by the efficiency of the whole procedure.

I had an excellent experience at the Midland Eye Clinic for cataract surgery. Everything from reception on arrival through preoperative procedures worked smoothly and efficiently. The surgery was explained in detail and my questions answered.

I was treated with kindness and courtesy by the whole staff at Midland Eye Clinic and all my appointments were on time. I had clear lens replacement surgery in both eyes to correct my vision. I chose top of the range lenses and laser assisted surgery under the close supervision of Professor Shah. 36 hours after surgery I took off my nighttime eye shields and found my vision was good at all distances with only a little blurriness. I was utterly amazed and really excited. I had my follow up on Day 3 and was given the go ahead to drive! I hadn’t expected such a rapid recovery and I am so delighted. I am only 1 week post surgery and expect that my eyes will settle down further over time. Thank you Prof Shah and all at Midland Eye Clinic!

Entire staff put you at ease from the minute you walked in.

The clinic was easy to find and I was looked after very well while there. Everything to do with my treatment was explained fully and carefully which left me feeling very at ease.

I was born with cataracts, but was too frightened to have an operation to remove them. 52 years later I was going blind and had no choice! I chose Midland Eye as i figured going private they would have more time and patience with such a terrified patient! From the moment I dealt with everyone there they were amazing and put me totally at ease, from helping me choose the right surgeon for my procedure to sending me to a specialist to get eye measurements because I wouldn't let them near my eye! The care was outstanding from every receptionist/ nurse/ Dr I encountered. I am so truly grateful for every single person involved. Mr Resiniotis (my surgeon) went above and beyond to help me through this. He is just wonderful!

I was referred to the Centre for a cornea consultation. I was very impressed with the efficient and friendly staff from start to finish.
The tests were all explained to me and Mr Barua the consultant was very helpful explaining all the pros and cons with any ongoing treatment.

I have to commend Mr Park and all the staff at Midland Eye for the excellent care I received. Special mention to Carmen for looking after me post op. In fact, what struck me most was the effort made by all the staff to ensure excellence was maintained throughout.

I recently visited for the second time for laser treatment. I received excellent care and treatment by Mr Barua and his team. I highly recommend this clinic.

Mr Rathod took great care to explain my capsulotomy procedure which he carried out painlessly with skill and reassurance. The procedure was successful and I’m very grateful to him and the Midland Eye clinic for a pleasant and excellent experience.

I have been under the care of Prof Shah for nearly 3 years now. I have been blown away by the exceptional care throughout. Whilst the eye surgery was quite painful to recover from, I was given all of the support and medication to get me through it. The aftercare has been excellent, too. I get to see Prof Shah and his team every time I visit. And I can’t not mention Jen Castle who is fantastic and super helpful.

All the staff are first class, from the receptionist to Prof Shah. I have had wonderful treatment from everyone. Appointments were easy to make and very accommodating as I had to travel quite a way to get there. Aftercare has always been good. All staff are pleasant and if you want to know anything they will always answer your questions. Highly recommended.

I received an honest and amazing service at Midland Eye. I recently attended four companies in order to discuss lens replacement (including Midland Eye). 2 said they would replace my lens and 2 said they would advise against it at the moment. Midland Eye were one of the companies who advised against it and explained in some great depth why. They explained that they did not want to overpromise and under deliver as my one eye was too good and they did not want to compromise that. The staff were amazing and when I can have it done I will return to Midland Eye for the surgery.
