Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company! Prays on the old and vulnerable forces himself into old people's homes trying to sell mattresses for well over the odds. Refuses to leave and is very pushy...!!
Please report this guy if he knocks at yours or your elderly relatives doors.

SCAM turned up at our house !

Honestly awful ! We had a van turn up the address today, with a lady with bright red hair with a company calling Mobility Care. She clearly knew the address and knew my Nans name! She said that she ordered a recliner chair. We said was unwarranted of this able to turn them round and we even apologised to them thinking my Nan had spoken to someone and wasted there time but after looking online it’s a scam ! I’d love to hear the phone call and how they tricked my 90 year old Nan with Alzheimer’s into this! What sick people can do this living!!!

Take care

Take care, exactly the same happened to my father. The company has different names. Nigel Slaughter was sat in my dad’s house trying to sell him a mattress when I arrived. He was using the 80’s hard sell technique of calling his boss who reduced the price from £750 to £550. He showed a sample mattress that was not the one my dad was going to have. I thought it was suspicious so I asked him for his card which he reluctantly gave me. The company on the card was mobilitycareproducts.co.uk which did not exist. He called his boss who wanted to explain why it was a different company. By this time I had had enough and as such I told him to leave.
Please be wary of this company and its multitude of names!
They are now trading as mobiltycare.co.uk

Cold called my mother aged 90 who is in poor health and partially deaf. She thought caller was from a care company she used before and an appointment was arranged for a rep to call the following day. Rep called Nigel Slaughter visited and used high pressure tactics to get her to order a new mattress for £550 ,including delivery and disposal of old mattress.
New mattress was delivered the following day and when my sister checked online the mattress could have been purchased elsewhere for £129

Stole Money from our Charity !!!

Stole Money from our Charity !!!! Purchased a heavy weight mobility scooter from these guys for our customers, they were quick enough to help when we were spending the money but shortly after receiving the equipment we had issues with it. Kept breaking down, had to replace parts etc and although this scooter was under warranty they didn't want anything to do with it. They demanded more money from us for an engineer to come and have a look so we wrote a cheque (stupidly) and surprise surprise that was the last we heard from them, will not reply to my emails, cannot get through on phone, nothing, gone !! We as a charity have a defective mobility scooter, our disabled customers are not able to use us and we are £1000's out of pocket !!

mobilityandcare.co.uk, Grays, Enigma Wheelchairs

mobilityandcare.co.uk

Paid for a Wheelchair. 10 days later, still no delivery & no communication. I asked for a refund. I was told that the refund would take 14 days to appear in my account (a blatent lie) After 20 days I still hadn't received a refund. I contacted Visa Credit Card Company to help fight the case and get my money back. Person called Richard ignored emails. Their company will earn interest on everyone's money hence they keep it for as long as they can. They trade as the following named companies:

mobilityandcare.co.uk
Grays
Enigma Wheelchairs.

AVOID ALL..... LIKE THE PLAGUE

An accomplice? - Successful Fight for refund with PayPal: Ordered "Pride" Brand - Unbranded product delivered

Please note: This review is written for completeness and verbatim concerning my purchase was from prime-moblityscooters.co.uk website. Yet transactions were undertaken from Mobility and Care (website: mobilityandcare.co.uk).

I own a Pride Mobility Scooter and required a battery charger. Purchased a "Pride brand 5 Amp Mobility Scooter Charger, Part Number: LS24/5E" from Prime-Mobiltyscooters. Received a badly packaged, unbranded electronic device with Part Number: FY2405000 without any supporting documentation or origin of manufacture. Plus there was no evidence of brand name "Pride".

I was suspicious because of what I received so I Entered "FY2405000" without the quotation marks in to Google search engine I found three devices with this part number. Two of which are 24V 5A universal power supplies and the third a charger for li-ion battery pack. I invited Prime-Mobilityscooters to provide more information about the charger. The first response was "Thank you for your email, what we have supplied to you as a 5 amp charger, if you note in our terms and conditions at the bottom it states pictures are of illustration purposes only (Link to terms), you are quite welcome to return the goods to us, however you will only receive a refund for the product and not for any charges you should incur in returning it to us. My reply to this was extensive because my point was missed and to state I had not referred to an image. In the meantime this company removed the part number from their website. I anticipated that evidence could be removed so I did a full capture of their website for proof, whereby I discovered they are linked to the website mobilityandcare.co.uk. What is even more alarming is that at this website you'll see a charger with the brand name "MK Batteries" sporting the same Part Number I purchased from here prime-mobilityscooters.co.uk. I remind you that the part number has since been removed, however, as I mentioned before I captured the page I purchased the charger from. Examine the two pages yourselves and you'll note the specifications are very much alike. Examine the prices and draw your own conclusions.

The battery type for a Pride Mobility Scooter is a "Sealed the GEL and Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Lead Acid battery". The advice for buying a battery charger is to purchase "the correct charger for the intended battery chemistry". "A lead acid battery charger should switch to a float charge when fully saturated" and a "Li-ion battery has to switch to a trickle charge". I remind you that I could only find a charger with the part number FY2405000 for li-ion batteries that do not provide a "float charge".

I tried to deal with this matter myself directly with the seller, without any success. I then contacted PayPal because I used their services to purchase the charger. PayPal supported my claim and I received a full refund from the seller for my purchase and in addition the cost I incurred returning the item in a very short spate of time.

I purchased the charger on 17th December 2017 Prime-Mobilityscooters.co.uk website and I was reimbursed by on 19th March 2018. Since then I have realised my transaction was with Mobility and Care Limited all along. Hence, I also submit a review to trustpilot for this company name too.

This company also failed to provide me with the link on their website for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) which has been a legal requirement since February 2016. Visit this link odrcontactpoint.uk

Fraudulent company that steals hundreds from your account!

If I could warn everyone about this man and his fraudulent company I would. They take money from your account for non existent products and then pretend they'll refund you in 7/10 days. Two months later, having heard its a problem with the 'finance department', I requested the details of said department.
None were forthcoming and instead I was lied to again regarding my money they have stolen. It was another diversion tactic, and having emailed him again and confronting him with this,he's gone quiet.

So please, save yourselves the hassle, loss of a few hundred pounds and no wheelchair,I've learned the hard way that this company is fraudulent!

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
