Niche is the sister company of Hancock and Wood who are a fourth generation family business. Our department store has been trading from the same site in Warrington, Cheshire since founded in 1914. We have developed and expanded over the years to meet the changing demands of our customers and now combine the best traditions of service with a modern twist. In July 2020 we launched our online brand Niche serving customers both nationally and in the local area, offering our latest arrivals online at affordable prices. We receive new stock several a week so there is always something new to tempt you! We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service following the traditional service model that we adhere to within our bricks and mortar store. Unlike many faceless online companies we will resolve any issues you may have quickly and efficiently. Susie is now the fourth generation of the Hancock family to take the helm at H & W, her sons Billy and Henry aspire to take the reins of the family business in the future!

Lovely company to deal with..the trousers I ordered weeks ago are so comfortable to wear so I ordered another 2 pairs. Great price and well made. Arrived the wrong size and no problem return label was sent and once received they sent out the correct size the same day

beige & navy trousers
I love my new order of beige & navy cropped trousers and the floral joggers. (I’m on holiday) The beige ones do not show different coloured knickers. For me that’s a great selling point. The joggers are so comfortable and on trend. I’m a lady of a certain age, but I love these.

Quickly addicted to Niche !
I recently ordered some trousers for my elderly Mum, I'm hoping they will be just what she needs, they look great. Infact so good that I then ordered 2 pairs of the Essential trousers for myself, black & navy, I'm very impressed so who knows, I may just order a pair of the cargo trousers for me too ! This may become my new addiction ~ Niche !! Delivery is fast, both orders arrived within 2 days, by Evri, Which is impressive! Thank you !
