NM Money Avis 

Absolutely shocking experience in Doncaster. I went to Euro Exchange in the French Gate and I was let down massively. I went a few months ago to exchange my money from euros back to Great British pounds, I was trying to exchange 7000 euros back before the rates got worse. I tried on two separate occasions and, both times a different lady, only to be told that I can't convert my cash back because I had to prove who I was and where the money had come from!

Now, I am an elderly gentleman and when I said I dont have proof because I bought it years ago. When I asked why, I was met with no explaination as to what I could do, I was just told "We cant do it without a bank statment" or simillar documentation. Im a 71 year old gentleman, who lost his wife to thid Covid-19 mess, who just wanted to exchange his money back to pounds sterling and I was made to feel like a money laundering criminal being scrutinized at every turn. Not a single ounce of compassion, empathy or decency between the two.

I shall not be returning to the Doncaster branch. I shall use Number One Currency Exchange from now on, as they only required my passport.

Honestly, it was disgusting treatment of a gentleman of my age and downright demoralizing, in front of a large queue!

We were unsure where to get our dollars we kept passing NM money and saw a good rate of exchange we asked how much would our money would be if we exchanged and was delighted with the result .
The tiller was very professional and asked if we would like smaller notes which would help us.
We would go again to this exchange NM Money

I went to NM Money in Maidstone recently to sell some gold.
The young lady that served me was extremely helpful and very professional.
She was also very knowledgeable and told me she eager to learn more about the gold business. I hope NM Money see the potential in her and help her with her career as she really is a credit to them.
The transaction was easy and straightforward but did take a while due the checks that have to be carried out.
I felt I received a fair price for the gold

I would have thought that this was a genuine mistake now from whom ever filled in the request perhaps they inputted the wrong number.

I will amend my review and leave this note here to show no hard feelings.

I didn't realise that where I bought my currency had changed companies, truly the worst exchange rate I have experienced in recent years and that means you lose the western union transfers as well as can do myself online.

Offered me a great rate not only better than the post office but beat their own rate by matching an online rate. Was served by a pleasant young man would recommend
