The wait was eternal between each stage of the referral from my GP. However about 1 year on from my diagnosis I had my T1 video appointment and it was super professional. I now have a follow up in 4 weeks and so on before being handed back to my GP.

Would leave zero stars if I could

Would leave zero stars if I could. Initially daughter started off as a private patient, happy with speed of diagnosis etc and first titration. They knew her previous medical history but still prescribed drug that reacted with anti- depressants. They demanded an ECG, her uni docs were rubbish at this so paid for a private cardiologist- heart was all ok. Paid a fortune for prescriptions and eventually went right to choose as titration appointments rarely happened. Right to choose went through ok had three titration appointments with three different people so had to explain everything each time. Hadn’t linked her private care to NHS one so didn’t even know about the meds THEY HAD PRESCRIBED. Surprise fourth titration appointment happened in August in which she said she sometimes has racing heart as meds kick in. She has previously mentioned this. They demanded again she have an ECG, which the put in an email to her when her records clearly state to email me. Daughter went back to Uni, requested a repeat prescription but refused. It takes 45 minutes OR LONGER FOR THEM TO ANSWER THE PHONE. Massive battle with docs to get an ECG BECAUSE HEART PALPITATIONS ARE A SIDE EFFECT! Something she has told each different clinician at titration. Finally had ECG, told might be 8 weeks before cardiologist reviews it, also told may lower the dose as she has been off meds for sometime. SHE DOESN’T TAKE THEM EVERDAY AND HAS BEEN STABLE FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS! Uni work now behind, sad to see her struggle day-to-day. I get that it’s a controlled drug but my daughter knows exactly how she should feel when on it, each person is different. It took a while to stabilise her and now they have put this in jeopardy. RUBBISH SERVICE, RUBBISH CLINICIANS but the lady who answers the phone is lovely, probably embarrassed from all the people she has to fob off. Hope she gets paid well to do a horrible job!

Dear Marissa,

We're really sorry to hear about your daughter's experience and the frustration and concern this has caused you both, particularly given the impact you've described on her treatment and university life.

We understand how important continuity of care is, especially when patients transition between private and NHS pathways. We also appreciate how frustrating it can be to repeat medical information to different clinicians and experience delays in accessing medication.

Clinical reviews and additional checks, including ECGs where required, are important to ensure medication remains safe and appropriate for each patient. However, we recognise the importance of clear communication and coordination throughout this process.

We would appreciate the opportunity to look into the concerns you've raised in more detail. Please email our Feedback and Resolutions Team at [resolutionsteam@careadhd.co.uk](mailto:resolutionsteam@careadhd.co.uk) so we can review the circumstances and provide further assistance. As your daughter is an adult, we may need her consent before discussing her care with you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We take concerns about patient care seriously and would welcome the opportunity to review these matters.

Warm regards,
The Care ADHD Team

A terrifying experience

A terrifying experience. In my case, I felt it made assumptions based on confirmation bias, ignored 4 of the 5 baselines their clinicians claim to use to make assessments and ignored contextual circumstances of culture, trauma and poor physical health. My GP advised because of this, it was unlikely to accept the results from the report. Date of experience was August25 but after challenging the report because of GP feedback, this is the latest experience time.

Dire

I had my initial assessment in early January. Finally in August I was told I could book a titration appointment. I have the appointment having come of all other medication to ensure I can optimise my titration, I was told I’d have my medication within a week. ADHD is awful and I finally felt like I was going to be alright. They asked me to do an ECG due to the potential side effects. I had it booked and done through my GP within a couple of days and sent back to Care ADHD. I was told it just needed to go to their cardiologists for review. So I’ve gone from thinking it will be a week to unsure. It’s been 6 weeks. My clinician has been responsive when asked for updates but the issue seems to be the process. Fair enough they may need to jump through a few more hoops but feck me they’re either severely under resourced, plain lazy or majorly corrupt because CARE ADHD doesn’t seem to understand the concept of care.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry that, after such a long wait for titration, you’ve faced further delays following your ECG. We understand how disheartening this uncertainty must be, particularly when you had finally felt close to starting treatment.

While necessary clinical reviews are important for patient safety, we recognise that delays and a lack of clarity about timescales can be incredibly frustrating. We appreciate your feedback about the process and would welcome the opportunity to look into your case further. Please contact our Feedback and Resolutions team via https://www.careadhd.co.uk/feedback so we can review this for you.

Great service and great team

This company was recommended to me in recovery. I have had a great experience. Although I was hesitant to do the questionnaires, it was simple and not too time consuming. The consultation online was very sincere and comfortable.. i was given a diagnosis straight away and aftercare has been very good. Thank you all and the team for making this an easy journey diagnosis

There's only so much time I can give..

I was diagnosed end of March this year which was a great process, very efficient and have no faults with this!

However, after choosing my options after being diagnosed, I was sent an email at the beginning of April to expect to begin my titration process in the next upcoming weeks. The current wait times for titration specifically says 'under three months from the point at which we recieve your physical health forms', this was completed early May. We are now at the end of October and whilst I appreciate a surge in titration wait times, I can't believe/understand why there has been no personal communciation to myself and/or courtesy of personal updates.. it's been way past the 12 week wait time, I haven't heard anything from anybody, even submitting a form last Thursday and I still haven't been responded to.

My paitience is waring thin, I've allowed ample amount of time and consideration as I appreciate you are working through paitients as best as you can, but I'm severely struggling to keep pushing through the day and live day to day, without going through the titration process. I'm exhausted living without the support I've needed. It's honestly a shame that the titration wait times are so much longer, with support being at your fingertips but not being able to grab this, especially after diagnosis.

With no communication, no updates, left waiting in the dark after 22 weeks of radio silence, its depleting, debilitated and I'm super exhausted with it all. If you haven't started the process already, I would seriously consider going through another clinician.

Dear Chloe,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're pleased to hear that your initial assessment was positive, but we're genuinely sorry to hear how difficult the wait for titration has been, particularly given the impact you've described on your day to day wellbeing.

We understand how disheartening it can be to receive an initial waiting time estimate and then find yourself waiting considerably longer, without the regular updates and reassurance you had hoped for.

Our titration waiting period begins from the date the required titration forms are completed. Once these have been clinically reviewed, patients enter our Ready to Book queue, where appointments are arranged as they reach the appropriate stage. Waiting time estimates are based on clinical capacity and booking activity at the time and are subject to change. Unfortunately, demand has exceeded earlier expectations, and we are continuing to expand our clinical and bookings capacity to help reduce these delays.

We also recognise that communication is particularly important during lengthy waiting periods. Our teams are currently managing a high volume of enquiries, but we appreciate that patients need to feel informed and supported throughout their journey.

Thank you for your patience and for acknowledging the efforts of our teams. We understand that waiting for treatment can be exhausting and remain committed to improving both waiting times and communication.

Warm regards,

Truly awful experience, try another provider

I was diagnosed over 7 months ago via Right to Choose and was told the wait time for titration was 8-12 weeks. I contacted them 3 months later through their web chat and was told the wait time could be up to 6 months. At this point they were still lying to new clients about an 8-12 week wait time. They were dismissive rather than apologetic which suggests the false promises are standard procedure.

I’ve still heard absolutely nothing after 7 months. They’re quick to respond to bad reviews on Trustpilot where the criticism is publicly visible, but not to their vulnerable clients. I still haven’t received a reply to an email sent over a month ago, but after 7 months of radio silence they’ve kindly just informed me they’re rebranding from CARE ADHD to Noodle!

This feels like a business masquerading as a healthcare service, with little apparent regard for the struggling people relying on it. Genuinely the worst service I have ever experienced. Find a different provider.

Dear CB,

We're sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating and disappointing it must be to have waited significantly longer than originally anticipated, particularly without the communication and reassurance you expected.

We would like to clarify that titration waiting times are calculated from the date the required titration forms are completed, rather than the date of diagnosis. Once these have been clinically reviewed, patients enter our Ready to Book queue, and our Bookings Team contacts them when they reach the appropriate stage.

Waiting time estimates reflect clinical capacity and booking activity at the time they are provided and are subject to change. Unfortunately, demand has exceeded earlier projections, resulting in longer waits than initially anticipated. We continue to increase our clinical and bookings capacity to help address this.

We also recognise your concerns about unanswered correspondence. Our teams are currently managing a significant volume of enquiries, but we appreciate that patients need timely, meaningful updates, particularly when waiting for treatment.

We understand that receiving information about our rebranding may feel frustrating when you're still waiting for answers about your care. Please be assured that supporting patients and improving communication remain priorities throughout this transition.

Warm regards,
The Care ADHD Team

Quick diagnosis, painful wait for titration

I booked with Care due to their low wait times. I was diagnosed very quickly (applied Nov 2025 and diagnosed Jan 2026). I have been waiting for titration ever since, with very little communication. Each time I do email, I am fobbed off with another email extending the wait times. At present, I have been waiting 32 weeks (last communication in sept said some had waited 32 weeks.. I've heard nothing still).

I would not recommend this company. They wait to give out diagnoses fast but clearly can't keep up with the demand of titration for patients.

Dear Alex,

We're sorry to hear about your frustration with the extended titration waiting times, particularly after such a positive and timely assessment experience.

We understand how disappointing it can be when waiting times increase beyond the original estimates, especially when you're looking forward to progressing with treatment.

We also appreciate your concerns about the lack of regular updates. We recognise how important clear and consistent communication is during this period and are continuing to work on improving this aspect of our service.

We had Bronwyn do our son’s assessment and she was lovely. My son was here there and everywhere, but she engaged with him in such a lovely manner that he managed to sit still and answer a few questions.
Bronwyn was professional and caring, explaining everything that was going to happen and took the time to really listen. I would definitely recommend.

Bit of a wait... but worth it

Apart from the long wait from diagnosis to titration, I found the process fairly easy to follow, the only thing I would say is that the communication between these periods was so sparse I rang to make sure I was still on the list. Even an automated email every couple of weeks would suffice to show you were still on the system.

When I did speak to Imran about my titration and the next steps, I was treated kindly and professionally with emphasis on making sure my current health was ok and making sure I understood all the possibilities that lay ahead. No stone went unturned. I felt seen and listened to for the first time in I don't know how many years.

I understand it is in our nature to be impatient, but hold in there, there are so many trying to get sorted that unfortunately a wait is inevitable.

Referral time is way longer than faq

I was referred by the GP, submitted the forms the beginning of September but still no one contacted me to book any appointments.

The FAQ estimate 1-2 weeks but over 6 weeks have passed and it’s radio silence. When I contacted them, twice, a month apart, all I get is generic email saying I’m ready to book and the details are with the booking team. I doubt if anyone actually nudge the team and see if there’s anything stopping me from being booked.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how important it is to receive timely updates when starting your ADHD assessment journey.

We would like to clarify that referrals can take some time for our team to process and review. Once the required forms have been completed and reviewed, patients move to the "Ready to Book Assessment" stage.

Our current estimated waiting time from this stage is approximately 1 to 2 weeks. However, please note that waiting time estimates are subject to change depending on demand and clinical availability.

If there is any missing information or anything preventing your referral from progressing, our team will contact you directly.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while our team works to support patients through the assessment process.

To call their support non existent would be an understatement

CareADHD show complete disregard for the wellbeing of their patients.

I'm now having to face a period without my medication because they lied about prescribing it when they hadn't I'm now sat on hold (with no real hope of getting through) because, having contacted their partner pharmacy, I have just been told that they still haven't issued a prescription. That's twice I've been told they have and twice that they haven't.

CareADHD are also impossible to speak to. They do not respond to Emails. The Live Chat gives out false information and, itself, takes forever to even give you a response. Phoning them is utterly pointless unless you happen to enjoy hold music.

They continue to show that they cannot be trusted to deal with controlled medication.

Avoid.
