Temu pants
Took far too long to recieve my order. Order shipped from China from this "Canadian" company. Once I finally did recieve my order it was underwhelming for the price.
I did find the identical pants on temu, I ordered the temu pants to compare and they are indeed identical. Don't waste your money.

I took advantage of a special offer knowing that ordering on line can be risky as it pertains to size and getting what you think you are paying for. These are exactly the kind of quality I've been shopping all over for. The exact same materials as the more extreme priced brands in the outdoor markets. The Men's Adventure Water resistant pants are as they describe with heavy duty construction, lightweight and an absolute perfect fit!!

Recently purchased adventure pants, decided to change colours. Anna was excellent made the change asap. Pants fit great true to size. My wife now wants some and I’m buying a second pair. Awesome.

Bought a pair of their trousers and…
Bought a pair of their trousers and within 45 days the zip on the rear pocket came away. Considering how expensive they are I would have thought they would have lasted longer that that. Think twice about buying them as in my experience the quality had gone downhill since I bought some about 3 years agow

Multi Functional Jeans and a Lifesaver Too
I recently purchased a pair of waterproof jeans from Northboundgear.
Last week, I came off my motorcycle at around 75 kph on the northern motorway.
I received no injuries to my legs thanks to your jeans.
They sustained two small rips only.
These jeans were a lifesaver for me.
I am so impressed and grateful, and I recommend them to everyone.
They are also excellent for keeping me dry on the motorbike - if it starts to rain on the way to or from work, I don't need to stop and put on wet-weather over-pants. The water shakes off these when I get to my destination.
They also keep me warmer than a standard pair of jeans - ideal for winter, especially for motorbike riding in cold weather.
Finally, they are smart enough to wear to work. I am a school principal and have no hesitation wearing them with a smart shirt and jacket.

Not happy with the support I received from Marie!
It took a long time for her to respond to my inquiry, and my brother had a similar experience when he tried to place an order — the slow response and unprofessional support made him decide not to move forward.
This really needs to be addressed. If not improved, you may end up losing more customers.

Love the winter pants
Love the winter pants. They are so warm, water proof and durable. This is my go-to pants during winter as I go out walking a lot during the freezing months. It is a must have if you live in the cold white North.

The returns process is awful (and…
The returns process is awful (and delivery times are very very slow). I ordered a pair of trousers for my daughter, and a different style for myself. We have both worn Northbound trousers before, and have been happy with their products.
The new style fabric on the Women's V2 "Explorer" Summer Pants is not pleasant and the cut is different (much tighter around the waist and thighs) from the PRO Women's High Waist V2 "Adventure" Water Resistant Pants, so I asked for a return. They responded with an approval of the refund, on the 9 April, but also an offer. I responded to them on the 15 April, and despite a promise to respond within 48 hours and despite another 4 emails to them have heard absolutely nothing.

The product is great but shipping is awful
The product is great and exactly as advertised. I am very happy with the quality and fit of the clothing. I am very disappointed with the length of time it takes to be delivered. It comes from overseas so waiting on shipping and customs to release the shipment can take several weeks.

Excellent fitting/feeling jeans -
Ordered the waterproof jeans for riding on my motorcycle. Arrived in about ten days (I live in Ontario, Canada) and the moment I put them on I was amazed at how comfortable they are. Terrific looking and soft inside. I usually take a 34" waist, but I ordered a 32" because I read that they may fit big - so glad I went with the smaller size because the fit is perfect! Simply the Best
Northbound Gear's Customer Service is over the top! Their customer service reps are polite, timely and efficient. I now own their Explorer and Adventure pants (I have 2 pairs of each!) I even wear them to work they are so comfortable. There fit is perfect.
I will be purchasing more of their products again.

Do not order from this company!!!! Still waiting for my order, and the tracking is fake; it has shown the package to be in Jamaica NY from day one, and for the past month. The only thing I get from customer service is BOT responses of “we understand your frustration. I am sure the positive feedback is from the company to themselves. Buy your cheap Chinese crap from a company that will actually deliver, and at cheaper prices.

Terrible service
Ordered trousers on October 29, 2024. Returned on the same day I received the trousers. Today is January 23, 2025 and I still haven't received my refund. They deliver trousers from the UK, but you have to return them to Canada. I do not recommend this company.

Great product/communication
I have to admit. When I first submitted my order, I was quite nervous as I didn’t seem to receive a valid tracking number. However, both pairs of pants arrived the same day. I need a 38 waist and 36 inseam, the pants were that indeed, but I found the insulated pair quite tight around my calves. I shot a quick email out to the company and Jamie replied rather quickly with some options, returns ect.
But also suggested that I just try them out for the day first. So, in no time at all wearing them on a small hike, I realized that these pants are perfect. Tons of mobility despite the snug fit on my thighs and calves. The waterproof summer pants are equally comfortable, I think they’ll be a perfect fit for spring sailing when you want to keep the cold spray soaking you right at the start. Customer service and clothing quality and that fit my frame, ensures that I’ll be back for more. I only wish that delivery was quicker. But that’s small potatoes…. Thanks guys!

I have been trying to get a refund for returned items for some time now. Northbound have confirmed that they have received the goods and that they are in perfect condition but no sign of the financial refund. They are also failing to respond to my email messages.
I an afraid that I could not recommend this company.

Great outdoor pants for men
I bought these for winter outdoor activities. They are very warm. The stretch fabric makes these super comfortable. I got frustrated with the delivery, but that was due to the postal strike in Canada. I would buy these again.
