Tried the sock for fit and although they seem to have somewhat of a “neoprene” feel (a little thicker and heavier than traditional sock) the fit was quite streamlined, relatively snug and comfortable... Voir plus

Fantastic product!
First let me say that I have always been somewhat hesitant to purchase clothing products online for fear of poor quality or sizing issues. Recently I took a leap of faith with Northbound Gear and ordered two pairs of their "Adventure" water resistant pants. I have had the pants for a few months and I have put them through various rigorous tests as I lead photo adventure workshops and tours all over the world.
I have to tell you that these pants are seemingly indestructible. They are also very comfortable fitting as they have a stretch fit to them. I happened to be using a 1" drill one day and the drill inadvertently started and the bit went right into the reinforced knee area on the pants. There was not a mark, a hole or a scratch on the pants after they wrapped around the drill bit. Amazing! The pants are still like new. Suffice to say that I highly recommend these pants to anyone who hikes and spends time doing outdoor activities. They are great at resisting light rain and water and dry very quickly as well.

I love these pants!!! Fit true to size, incredibly comfy, warm and water resistant. I wore these throughout Norway where temps were cold and rainy. LOVE them so much I’m buying a second pair!

Great pants - Quality and Fit
I received my order yesterday evening and all I can say is wow! These pants fit perfectly, true to size, and seem very comfortable. I am very happy with the workmanship and although I was sceptical considering the price point, these seem to be great at first glance and fitting. The true measure will come with the regular use in the field and how they hold up from a material and water resistant perspective but so far, 5 stars on these.

BEWARE of this business! I have been dealing with them since August. Takes forever for delivery, after multiple phone calls and emails. Once delivered very poor quality, I am owed a refund and they will not credit my card for refund.
I would not do business with this company ever again. They adapt their name to look like that of another reputable company.

Slow shipping and customer pays for returns
I ordered two pairs of the Women's "Adventure" Water Resistant Pants - (High Waisted) pants. They took 12 days to arrive from Canada. Unfortunately they are cut very straight and don't accommodate bigger hips & thighs (a bigger size wouldn't work because then the waist would be huge). Unfortunately I didn't realize customers pay for return shipping - $57 from US to Canada! I paid nearly $60 to try on these pants.
I also ordered gaiters & snow grips and those seem good quality, but I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this company that might not fit.

Please, I just want a simple exchange for what are very good water resistant pants. I have been on the phone and texting literally for 1.5 hours talking to Ali, who unfortunately has difficulty with English. My desire for an “exchange” had to be “approved”,but after the approval, there is no information on where to send the pants! The return address from the shipper is from:
“Jane” 371 Little Falls Rd Ste4 Cedar Grove,NJ 07009 and a US customer must return to Canada, but no address is provided! Another call made, another Order # requested! Please, can’t NorthboundGear make this process less onerous?

Just PERFECT, and a very good length for tall ladies
I just want to say a huge THANK YOU for my wonderful long-length waterproof fleecy trousers. I’m a recently-disabled tall lady, and I’m absolutely DELIGHTED with the fit, appearance and comfort of them. They’ve arrived at the perfect time, as temperatures are starting to plummet here in the UK!
They’re unlike any other waterproof trousers I’ve ever seen or worn, and I’m sure they’re going to really help me battle the chill of autumn and winter in my wheelchair!

Really disappointed with my UK purchase of…
Really disappointed with my purchase of an Apex jacket. Waited 11 days for it to be delivered and not until after the postman had dropped it off did I get an email telling me to expect the delivery. The item was bundled up in a grubby plastic bag with yards of sticky tape around it, looking like something a tramp carries around the roads. A customs label on it told me it was worth £32 - a bit different from the £161 I paid for it. Thus far I am seriously less than impressed with my purchase. However, once opened, the jacket looked really nice but when I put it on it was obvious that a Canadian "Large" is much, much, bigger than a UK "Large" and so it will have to be returned. I go online and fill in the "request return" form and a little while later get an "OK" email. At this point the small print looms into view and not only will I be charged a $5 restocking fee, but I've also got to pay the postage from the UK - estimated to be £40 ($49)! Not surprisingly I won't be buying from Northbound again, and I suggest that if they want to sell in the UK they take a long hard look at their sizing and refund policies.
