Northumberland Cheese Company Avis 

I ordered a cheese hamper, to be sent to my daughter in Winchester . She is delighted with it, such a lovely selection. Especially wanted her to have the Nettle cheese, as she loves it. It arrived on time, without any problems. We always visit the cafe when she's home too,

We L❤️VE, everything about this company. Although we live in Derby, husband was born and brought in Ponteland and my father in Ashington. We have friends who live in Newcastle so take the opportunity to treat ourselves to lunch in the Cheese Loft. I've just received the
Cheese Board box which is to be used for a gift. It's set the taste buds racing so I'm going to have to order again ! 😋 (think it was a Christmas pressie to ourselves the last time)

Order never arrived. Like the review below, I ordered a selection of cheeses as a Christmas present, and was given the option to specify a date I wanted them delivered (as soon as possible before I went home to my parents). Unfortunately they use DHL as the delivery service, I say "delivery service" loosely because they don't really do that. DHL never delivered my item, they are uncontactable (phone number doesn't work and no response on any other channel). So I have no idea if/when my items will be delivered and I leave tomorrow. I have emailed Northumberland Cheese asking for a refund and hopefully will be able to amend this review if they're able to resolve this.

Nice day out, cheese a little raw

Decided to order from this company as recommended by a friend. Unfortunately we won’t order again. The items ordered (over £40) were due for delivery yesterday by DHL (the courier the company uses) and we were out when delivery was made, orders could not be tracked and could not contact them, so the time given meant that we were out. Redelivery was then done for today and time slot given was between 2.22pm-3.22pm, DHL decided to deliver at 1pm! This cheese has now been on the vans twice plus in warehouse so probably won’t be in the best condition. Emailed the company to say don’t redeliver take the order back and got back a rather insincere apology. £40 down, no cheese but have the knowledge not to use the company again and wouldn’t recommend. Would be better if you used a courier service that actually delivered an item when they said they would.

I saw the Virtual Cheese box advertised on Facebook. Opened up the link and read about it. Sounded good so I sent for it. Was very disappointed when the box arrived. Perhaps I didn't read the small print; I had expected a range of Northumberland made cheese. Most was produced in Buxton and were ordinary cheeses. e.g blue stilton, cheddar, Mexicana, Lancashire. The special ones were Blagdon Blue and Northumberland Nettle. And one had just a week left on it before the use by date!!

Decided to give the Spring Box a try and to add a few other pieces of cheese. I was not disappointed. Each cheese is so tasty, packed full of flavour.
I am a huge cheese fan and will continue to buy my cheese from this company
