Not far from Tatton Park Gardens and Lyme Park – used in the filming of BBC literary dramas – the striking red-brick building provides a stunning backdrop for two floors of our furniture and accessories. Lampbases/seat cushion
Love my purchase, 2 Persephone table lamps and shades, bold but beautiful. Also bought a seat cushion has filled a corner and added a bit of colour to the room.

6First of all I am very sad to have to write this poor review after being a loyal customer and buying many items in the past and planned to in the future ... I am now put off over the lack of customer care at this store. Neptune next time!!! Unsubscribing from the emails now. When locality doesn't matter you loose in the end and all expensive advertising goes out the window.
My experience has not been a positive one today at Knutsford OKA with the store manager ( I think she was as I was refered to her by other staff)who is not flexible at all to the bonkers 14 days return policy . Which tbh I never thought a quality retail outlet would have. It's usually cheap outlets that have a 14 days return policy ... very odd and puts you off buying items to try in your home.
I bought a photo frame which sadly did not fit the picture of my late father that I wanted to put in it. The frame like many in the shop also had marks and glue on it so I went to return it today. But sadly was unable to as it was 1 week over the 14 days due mainly to the fact that I had been away over Feb half term and didn't realise the policy was 14 days ... very disappointing 😞 it smacks of desperation from OKA... please consider the impression this gives and how loyal customers are treated as i was made to feel small and was patronised by this member of staff... almost as if " how dare I ask"
In reply .... I understand the policy but as I said previously a 14day policy is usually applied to lower end retail outlets and not one high end outlets usually have, perception is everything in 2026! And I didn't appreciate the lack of customer service for the sake of a picture frame ... very poor.
Neptune allows returns on most items within 28 days of delivery if they are in original, unused condition.
John Lewis offers a 30-day return policy for unused, resaleable items in original packaging with tags, accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt, delivery note).

Really happy with our 4 new cushion…
Really happy with our 4 new cushion covers from OKA. They look like and are quality. We ordered online and the delivery was speedy.
Prior to ordering we went in to the Knutsford store to view the item. Two members of staff present, one was friendly and helpful, but, the assistant manager, Louisa, was neither of those things and we felt that we didn’t want to give her the business.

A very poor first experience with OKA
This review relates to the Knutsford store. I initially emailed the store to enquire about a ceiling light that was showing as out of stock online but appeared to be available in-store. I received no response, so I contacted customer services by phone. The advisor confirmed the store had two in stock and transferred me to the store directly, but no one answered. I left a voicemail requesting a call back, which was never returned.
I then called the store myself to ask if the light could be shipped, as I live too far away to collect. A junior member of staff took my call and said she needed to check with her manager, as the light might not be in its original packaging. When she came back, I was simply told they could not help because the item was discontinued, with no further explanation or attempt to offer an alternative solution.
I don’t understand why an item that was confirmed as being in stock could not be shipped just because it is discontinued.
As a potential new customer, I found this lack of communication and effort extremely disappointing. This was a very poor first experience.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry for the poor experience you had, we have addressed this internally with the teams involved.
To provide some context, the lights in question were ex-display items that had already been installed in store, with wiring cut and original packaging removed. As a result, they were no longer in a sellable condition and could not be shipped. Unfortunately, this was not clearly explained at the time, and the information provided to you was therefore unclear.
We also acknowledge that we should have made a greater effort to explain the situation fully and to offer support in identifying a suitable alternative, and we regret that this did not happen.
Should you wish to explore alternative options or require any further assistance, our Customer Service team would be pleased to help.

Originally told order would be 3 weeks but delivery took over 4 months. Had to pay full amount and then wait for 4 months. Wasn’t communicated at time of order and no compensation offered.
