10/10 would buy OB again!!!
My experience with Olivia Bottega was great and I will review it in detail.
Important to know - I never stepped foot in a single bridal shop or tried on a single wedding dress before ordering my dress from OB.
I have very particular and picky taste and I disliked approximately 99% of the dresses I was seeing online and at boutiques (via their websites.) UNTIL I found OB. I fell head over heels for their Audrey dress. Love at first sight. We are having multiple micro weddings and this dress lets me have a different look at each one! BTW, every bride should do this because you get to wear your dress multiple times and it justifies the price! Plus with the Audrey mini dress, bolero, and sleeves, I also have a version I can wear every anniversary! Anyway - it was only AFTER I submitted my custom order (I wanted ALL the Audrey pieces), that I saw reviews of some people having shipping and communication issues. I panicked and expressed my concern. Sadie, the rep I worked with the whole time, was the UTMOST professional. She reassured me all would be well, and well, in between panicking and her reassurance, I decided my heard was still set on it, so I took the risk. Though her responses were sometimes delayed (she informs me she only works 3-4 days a week, plus they are overseas and there is a time difference), she was always SO polite and kind and professional. I received my dress right on time per their estimate, it fits perfectly, it is gorgeous, and I am still in love!!! Re SHIPPING, I received automated carrier emails telling me it was in the mail and when it was gonna be delivered, was delivered, etc, so I believe they have improved that side of things. PS I also ended up getting another dress for my civil ceremony, which coincidentally was also from an Eastern European label. I’m officially team Eastern European fashion. At least for my wedding! That one also fit perfect after buying blind. Win win. I now have two wedding dresses, 5 dates I will be wearing them, and like 9 different ways I can customize the Audrey which will be worn 4 times. Anyway the point is - I have nothing bad to say about OB!!!

I really liked the service
I really liked the service, the quick tailoring and delivery. I had a last-minute order before the wedding because my husband proposed on a yacht with music and my favorite childhood cartoon playing. They asked me all the necessary questions, helped take my body measurements, and advised me on the style. I was a very beautiful bride; my husband was shocked and gave me a magical wedding night. The material turned out to be very durable and soft. My girlfriends also wanted such a dress, so I made an arrangement with my friend that she would also get married in it.

TerribleExperience - do not buy online
I had a very bad experience! It started off great, until I was informed that the dress I bought was made to order, not ready to ship. The website did not make that clear at any point and was incredibly misleading. They also failed to note in the refund section that not all of my money would be refunded, due to ‘charges’
From that moment, I struggled to get my money back from them. Emails took days to be responded to, the deduction of fees from my refund wasn’t previously stated on the website, the 15-20 working day refund period was ridiculously long to start with, but then there was a ‘delay’ and it went on even longer. I wasn’t informed of the delay until I emailed again to chase it up. The communication wasn’t good enough, the descriptions on the website are not good enough and the time frame for refunds is absolutely not good enough. I strongly encourage people NOT to buy from them online.

Good product and quick customer…
Good product and quick customer service. I love the dress and purchasing experience. Four rather than five stars because for the price of the dress, I would think pockets would be included. My husband’s pants, jacket, and vest had pockets come with his outfit — pockets should be standard for clothing. Had the price to add pockets been nominal, say $50, I would have proceeded, but the price to add the pockets was half the price of the dress. Given that I had to have it hemmed (almost half the price of the dress) and now dry cleaned (more than half the price of the dress), the exorbitant price for pockets is particularly cruel to the bride on a reasonable budget.

The quality of the dress and detachable skirt were amazing. This combination of the two, just stunning! I ordered a dress based on measurements which fit like a glove. There were delays due to shipping restraint which is the only reason this is 4.5 and not 5 star.

Perfect fit/fast delivery
The dress looks exactly like I imagined. All the support from staff was very helpful and they helped me customize the dress to have a lace up back. Delivery was fast and it fit perfectly so no alterations needed. I still have a while till the wedding in June but don't foresee any problems. Glitter does shed a little.

This company has very poor customer…
This company has very poor customer service. I never was able to get through on any phone calls as no one answered, and then the call would cut off. I wanted to discuss my wedding dress with a personal assistant but was unable to ever talk to anyone after several attempts.
Email responses were woefully slow, and not once did this company take responsibility for their inaction or take accountability!
I would never recommend this company to anyone and I have tremendous regret about purchasing my wedding dress from Olivia Bottega.. I should have purchased my dress at a local bridal salon. I did find a lovely local bridal salon that fixed the back of my dress and pressed it …but this cost me a lot of money that I should not have had to spend. At least the local bridal salon was professional, kind, and caring which Olivia Bottega was not!

My husband and I live in South Korea. Wedding dresses here are really expensive and just not my style, so I decided to look around on the internet. Stumbled upon Olivia Bottega and saw the "Heist" dress, and knew I needed to have it. Everyone I emailed with was super helpful and patient, and we were able to figure out any issues we had with customs as the dress arrived in Korea. I found the perfect dress for my wedding at Olivia Bottega. The Seiliny dress was actually the very first one I pinned on Pintrest but I was hesitant to buy online and ended up going to over 15 bridal stores and trying on more that 50 dresses and none of them compared to the dress I originally wanted. So, I decided to reach out and set up an online consultation and it turned out even better than I expected! My stylist had the dress available while on zoom for me to look at close up and she gave me wonderful pointed on how to measure and how to achieve the look I wanted. I ended up purchasing my dress from them and it was absolutely stunning! It fit me perfectly and it looked even better on my body than it did online! I could not have had a better experience and I still look back at my photos thinking about how much I loved my dress. I highly recommend Olivia Bottega for your big day!

Not accurate "Custom" Sizing
Communication with staff was awful, phone lines just disconnect, they sent me a dress with inaccurate custom measurements and didn’t offer any solutions. I’m convinced they filter only to show possitive reviews. It’s an expensive (+3k) mistake ordering from here that ruined my big day.

Getting a custom made dress online was the best decision I have made in my wedding planning journey.
I can't put into words how much my experience with Olivia Bottega surpassed my expectations. I thought long and hard about the pros and cons of buying a dress online without seeing it in person, but my experience from seeing dresses in person was already underwhelming, so I eventually thought that it was worth the risk based on the positive reviews, the stunning dress designs on the website and social media, and the benefit of having a custom sized dress. Also, I had my heart set on having two dresses for my wedding day, and I couldn't find any convertible dresses that came close to the vision I had, and the alternative was blowing the budget on two separate dresses.
I had made my peace with the possibility of needing to do some minor alterations locally. I had even accepted that one of the two looks I was looking for would be fulfilled and I could do the rest locally on a budget.
Any reservations or doubts I had about my decision were put to rest within days of placing my order with a lovely personal email to clarify a few of my measurements. I knew that I was dealing with an attentive, passionate team, and I felt their excitement when I updated them after I received my dress.
As exceptional as the service was, it would have meant nothing unless the product was also exceptional, and that is exactly how I would describe my dress. It is beautiful, expertly and lovingly made, high quality materials and the best part, it fit like a glove the first time I put it on. There was no waiting around paying a tailor to alter it in the hopes that it fits the way the pins and pegs in a boutique make it look. I am 8 months out from my wedding and my beautiful dress is packed back up in my sister's house for safe keeping, I can't express the relief of having that huge box ticked with months to spare.
I can't wait to see the faces of my nearest and dearest, and my husband to be, when I get to show off my beautiful dress.
If anyone is debating whether or not this is a worthwhile venture, I can only advise to go for it. I am so glad I took the apparent risk, not only did I save money on a second dress and alterations, but I know that I have the most unique dress anyone at our Irish wedding will have seen, and the most unique acquisition story behind it.
To my fellow future brides, you won't regret putting your trust in the Olivia Bottega team, and you certainly won't regret the dress for the most important day of your life.
