The dress we received exceeded our expectations. We didn’t think that a dress from an online store could look exactly like in the photos, but it turned out just like that. We didn’t even need to do any alterations, my wife was very happy with the dress! The communication was a bit slow, but overall the experience was great. Dress was delivered quite small delay (3 days only).

Never got a tefund
Purchased a lovely dress in February and unfortunately it just was not the one. Have contact them twice about my refund that I have shipped on February. In the most recent email I received I was told that this matter would be investigated yet nothing has been done. It has been close to 90 days now and still no refund.

Scammers! I never got my refund and I had to contact my bank to handle it.
Response:
The dress I bought arrived on February 19th, and I had mailed it back by February 26 th. By March 28th, I had no refund or email confirming they received the dress. I sent multiple emails where they always had an issue with the return being backed up and that they would expedite my case. By April 16th, I still had no refund, so I contacted my bank and filed a claim. I was given $750.00 back temporarily from my bank and NOT Olivia Bottega from this claim. By May 21st, my bank said I had won my claim, and the $750.00 return was permanent. I have receipts for all of this. It took me reaching out to my bank to get a refund; otherwise, I would not have gotten a refund. Also, their ‘phone number’ never works.

Pregnant and panicking until the night before my wedding
To preface, I was 7 months pregnant at my wedding - 32 weeks. I didn’t have many choices for my shape or would-be shape. Dress shopping was hard. So when I found a company that would work with me to take my exact measurements, and had beautiful dresses that I actually liked, I was so excited. Between planning a baby shower, planning a wedding, and the usual pregnancy things (bodily changes, hormones, symptoms, etc) it was really important to me that this aspect would be simple. It should be when you order a dress, provide measurements and receive a fulfillment date. The actual results? Timelines not met, poor or delayed communication, confusion/stress, and my dress didn’t arrive until literally the night before my wedding (I wish I was exaggerating). When we were two weeks out from my wedding - and two weeks past my original fulfillment date - I still had not received the dress or an update about the dress. When I reached out to customer care, I received responses days later - if I received a response at all - and the messages were pacifying and unclear with no real answers. There was a point where the dress was the only detail about my wedding that was not covered. I spent an additional $1k on cheap “backup dresses”. I essentially had to chase down the team (by going on their social media) to get any real updates about my dress and had to directly tell my customer care person to be honest with me (after a week of next to nothing). The only resolution they offered was to continue to wait. What’s not in their control is material delays, shipping delays, etc. What absolutely is in their control - prompt communication, proactive resolution, and honesty. I am not confident that if my dress had not arrived in time that I would have received a refund.
BUT it did the night before. It was beautiful, it fit beautifully, it beautifully covered my pregnant belly (which was my goal), and it was very easy to put on, bustle, dance in. It didn’t need a petticoat, the material was excellent. It flowed beautifully down the aisle, it landed right at the height it needed to (I didn’t trip once!) and I LOVED the dress.
For that reason, I can give 3/5 stars despite the high blood pressure stress I experienced working with the company.

The quality exceeded my expectations
I’ve never been the “traditional bride” type 🙃 and honestly, trying on the usual gowns felt sooo not me. Then I found Olivia Bottega and their mix-and-match separates and was like - yup, THIS is it! ✨ I picked the Aviv crop top (those sleeves!! 😍) and the Romanica skirt with dreamy layered vibes. OB treated my two-piece look like a couture gown from day one SO much love and detail 💛I’m petite, so I was worried about the fit, but the team totally had my back. They adjusted the crop and waistband, sent me sketches (!!), and even checked lace placement so everything lined up perfectly 🙌 They kept me in the loop with pics, updates, and even messaged when one lace option ran low - no surprises, just care 💬 When it arrived (right on time, btw), I cried. It was beautifully packed, the fit was almost perfect, and my seamstress barely had to touch it. She even said it felt like a $$$ designer dress 👏 And the best part? I danced all night at our garden wedding + barn party, felt like a goddess, and already wore the top again with black pants for our post-wedding dinner 💃 If you’re not a “classic gown” kinda bride, trust me - Olivia Bottega separates are the move 💕

I ordered my wedding dress on January 31, 2025 and was charged and extra $150 to “expedite” the dress. I received a confirmation email stating that I would receive a delivery confirmation in 3 business days. I waited a month and reached out, they hadn’t even started working on my dress yet and they asked me to re send my measurements that I had provided when I initially ordered the dress. They have failed to provide me with a delivery confirmation as their policy states.
Months go by and I hear nothing so I contacted them on May 3, 2025 to follow up and received an email back stating there was a “fabric supply issue” and told that I they would get back to me. I have sent numerous follow ups and have heard nothing back.
They have taken my money, ghosted me and now I need to find a dress a month before my wedding. This has been a horrible experience, the customer service is abysmal and apparently, the refund process is just as long and irritating so wish me luck!

They “replaced” the ordered dress with an off the rack size that was less money but never issued a refund for the difference and it was only shipped once we contacted paypal to get a refund.

I have been trying to return the dress I ordered, which unfortunately did not fit me, for days now with no reply from customer service. I have a short period of time to get this done because I’ll be traveling for work at the end of the month.
