One Day Tests - Cardiff Avis 

Yet again I am unimpressed with the Customer Service from this company. Having booked a follow-up consultation with the GP, I logged in to the link provided and entered the chat room where the message said that the host had been notified and I should wait to be let in. I waited 20 minutes and eventually gave up. There was no way of contacting the company to find out what was happening, so I have emailed them and, on hour later, I am still awaiting a response. Maybe I have been unlucky as everyone else is praising their customer service but, so far, I have been very unimpressed. There is no phone number provided on the web site so, if things don't go according to plan, there is no way to find out how to solve it.

My appointment was on time. Phlebotomist was friendly and welcoming. Explained the procedure thoroughly. No pain experienced when blood taken.
Blood results were received within a couple of days. I can’t fault the service given.

I just wanted to say that Rebecca was really helpful at the Cardiff Practice One Day Test. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience much easier. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Really happy with the whole experience. It's the first time I've had tests done with this company but certainly not the last. Everything was easy- from booking the tests, visiting the Cardiff clinic and receiving the results. Very happy with the whole process and would definitely recommend.

I am very satisfied with my experience. It was easy to book my blood tests. The nurse was pleasant and gentle with me. She also explained how to get my results. I received my blood test reports as expected. I will not hesitate to use One Day tests again for the tests I can' t have on the NHS.

I was early for my appointment so I asked if I could have it earlier than my apppointed time. Rebecca was courteous and professional. It was done quickly without any distress.
The result was quick too, surpringly quick. The blood test was done on the 30th April and the result came on the 2nd May 2026.
Moerover, the purchase online was easy to navigate too, very user friendly.
I do reccommend One Day Tests for any health concerns that require a blood test.

I was really impressed with this service. I needed blood tests before undergoing elective surgery & had very little notice to get them. I was unable to have them at the hospital where the surgery was taking place as it was a 9 hour round trip from where I live. I thought about going to my GP but I did not trust that my GP would a) agree to do them at all and b) get the results back in time as I had a very tight window. I therefore tried One Day Tests. The nearest clinic was 50 minutes from me, I booked online and got an appointment the same day so hopped straight in my car. The nurse was lovely & it was over in minutes. My bloods were taken approx 1.30pm on a Friday and the results were in my inbox Saturday night. I was very happy. I also really liked the narrative around the results, what they mean etc. & flagging any issues. I have learned a lot about my general health actually. The AI function was fab - I had slightly low ferritin levels and I asked it whether it was enough that surgery would not go ahead and it put my mind at rest. I went for the Women's Ultimate Health test £129 (although there was a slightly cheaper standard pre-op test available) but as well as full blood count this one also included information about my hormones, which I found useful, and I paid the additional £29 to be seen in a clinic rather than posting the home DIY kit, mainly because I was in such a rush for them. It's not cheap (compared to getting them done free on NHS, anyway!) but I would not hesitate to use this service again if I needed to. Very efficient & I was really impressed, highly recommend.
