The worst delivery service there is. Not sure why companies continue using this scam to ship orders. From mishandling to lost orders to horrible customer service.
Companies should allow customers to select which carrier ships their orders. This company is a SHAM. Avoid using at all costs. They contract drivers that are getting paid pennies to deliver products, and this results in a horrible experience altogether.

2 for 2 no delivery
Had 2 deliveries within the last month and both times they advised they were unable to deliver or a bad address. Both times they never attempted to deliver and just said unable. Spoke to the manager and they agreed the employee didn't even try to deliver as they are 45 mins away and marked it incomplete after 10 mins of having the package. Don't use this company. We stopped buying from places that utilize them. We are still 1 package short of 2 deliveries. Both were complaints.

OnTrac aka Lasership are terrible
OnTrac aka Lasership are terrible. I live in a secured building. Their delivery drivers continue to leave my packages outside of my apartment complex building despite my multiple complaints it continue to happen and now it's the third time. Prior to when my apartment was unsecured meaning anyone can easily walk into my building, the OnTrac (used to be called Lasership) driver would leave my packages inside of my hallway, instead of simply walking upstairs. That's how awful these people are. It's almost as if the drivers run things instead of management team because all of my complaints seem useless because their drivers continue to leave my packages outside of my apartment complex instead of requesting entrance and leaving at my actual apartment front door. I just had another package that was once again left outside of my apartment complex today June 29, 2026. You see why OnTrac management is terrible because despite all my complaints, all four of my deliveries were all mishandled. I had this issue with FedEx and their management resolved the issue after bringing it to their attention unlike OnTrac. I wish Walmart would stop using this company.

Carrier did not follow delivery…
Carrier did not follow delivery instructions after the first attempt. Not only was I home when first attempted but there was no ring or knock on residence door. Within hours of the first attempt I updated system with delivery instructions. I subsequently updated it three times while physically posting instructions on outside door. There was also a large package drop box on property that was labeled & ignored. There was no indication in system that delivery instructions was updated or delivery re attempted. I have dated screen shots of my instructions update request. I could not get in touch with a live agent as well. Product was returned to shipper.

I noticed (with dismay) that a company I purchase from frequently is now using OnTrac (I absolutely wish I knew that beforehand as they have used other reliable delivery services in past years) Even though OnTrac now has a box where you can indicate how/where you want your package delivered - don't bother, they ignore it totally (twice now). So I watched the delivery and, as usual, it just gets tossed somewhere the driver decides on. I just notified the company that I ordered from that I will no longer be doing business with them SOLELY due to their choice in carrier. This appears to be my only voice ..... so hope it helps.

Extremely Disappointed
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with OnTrac. My package was marked as delivered, but it was never delivered to my home. Based on the delivery photo, it appears the driver left the package outside my gated community, directly off the main street, rather than attempting delivery to my residence.
Not surprisingly, the package is now missing, and I never received it. When I reported the issue, I found that there was little accountability for the misdelivery and no willingness to take responsibility for leaving a package in an unsecured location.
If a driver cannot access a gated community, it is common practice for delivery companies to either contact the recipient, leave the package in a designated secure location, or mark the delivery as undeliverable and attempt redelivery. Leaving a package unattended on a public street is unacceptable and irresponsible.
As a customer, I expect packages to be delivered to my home or handled appropriately if access is unavailable. Unfortunately, OnTrac failed to meet that basic expectation, resulting in a lost package and a frustrating customer service experience.

Hate this company Walmart…
Hate this company Walmart unfortunately uses them sometimes and Target and they can't be bothered to bring packages to your porch they leave it anywhere else besides your door where anyone can just drive up and take it and in the elements. I had to go get a big target box myself at end of driveway and drag it up to porch and a couple days ago my new tablet was tossed over my fence which is always open for people to drive on driveway it got tossed over a delicate electronic right by the entrance right next to the bird bath that is a terracotta saucer on ground and sitting in the sun I complained but this wouldn't be the first time the half assed drivers won't ever actually do their jobs. Only company that does this shit the asswipes must toss it out their windows they need to go under and close up shop.

Excellent service provided. Two-day coast to coast travel for the package with good tracking and delivery same day as it arrived to final destination facility in Houston, TX. Package was delivered in excellent condition to the front door of my residential building. You can't wish better than that. Kudos to OnTrac!

Absolute worst delivery experience—zero accountability!
I am beyond furious with the "service" I received from OnTrac. Not only did the driver fail to walk the package literally ten more steps to my front porch, but they also had the audacity to lean my expensive delivery right up against the garage door.
Leaving a package at the garage door is practically begging for it to be crushed or stolen, not to mention creating a nightmare if I need to leave the house in a hurry. But what makes this infuriating is that there is absolutely no customer service to be found.
When you try to call or resolve an issue, you are met with a black hole. No real human to talk to, no way to file an effective complaint, and no one taking responsibility for sheer laziness .A delivery company is supposed to get your items to you safely, securely, and to your door.
OnTrac manages none of the above. I will actively avoid doing business with any retailer that uses this joke of a carrier in the future.
Note, they are headquartered in Chantilly, VA so if you have issues, you can contact BBB in the state of Virginia to close the company down.
Also note: they get a 1 star review here and 1 star review on Yelp. Note to companies who need their goods delivered: WHAT are you thinking? Use UPS, USPS, FedEx - anyone except these third rate thugs.

If I would give a minus 200 I would. Horrible service and they don't even care.Unfortunately companies use them and you don't have a choice. My package was left on the outgoing mailbox at 7:30pm. Of course it disappeared and of course they are deeply sorry but cant do anything about it. Any ideas on how to shut them down?

Their voice phone number (800-334-5000) does not work and they won't provide another on chat. Even Walmart can't talk to them. Their chat is a joke. AI won't put you through to a live agent until you ask 5 times and then the agent can't help and says "goodbye", basically hanging up on you. Tracking is inaccurate; each day, the delivery date is extended by another day. For some reason Walmart can't cancel the order. Other than that, great service (AI, this is call sarcasm). Why does Walmart use them?

Zero stars. Avoid whenever possible.
Sephora, Anthropologie, Nordstrom - all major sellers use this delivery service and it’s single handed the worst delivery service out there. Packages get delayed on average 2 weeks from original delivery date with constant “incomplete address” “additional delivery instructions needed” you update and call and nothing changes. I’m quite sure that they give undeliverable notifications until they’re in your area next. More companies need to allow you to choose who to ship through because I would gladly pay way more for shipping with any other major shipper.

Yay my packageis delivered! Looked out the window.. nope. Ok maybe try the back door?.. nope. Oh great, they left it at the end of the driveway or at my neighbors house.. double nope.
Now I'm reading all of these reviews. I'm all set. I will be canceling my subscription. Cheaping out and using this kind of service to deliver your (expensive) product to me is completely unprofessional and shows how little you care about customer satisfaction.

Once again On Trac delivered my package to my neighbor. Good thing they are honest people. They brought it back.

How does Ontrac even stay in business. I chased my package all the way to the receiving center. The Ontrac employee were nowhere to be found. Finally one showed up and it didn’t surprise him that the contracted drivers made phantom deliveries.
Ontrac employee’s words:” they (drivers) pretty much do whatever they want”. That Ontrac guy looked like he has seen this about a thousand times. He doesn’t even pick up the calls anymore.

Here they are giving empty apologies, in parallel they are responding to my claim on their website saying they don’t have proof of delivery but they insist the delivery was made. They even got the city wrong in their response. This is how they wing everything.

I wish I could give less than 1 star
I wish I could give less than 1 star. This is the most unreliable shipping company. In just the past week their drivers have left 4 of my packages at the same wrong address. This is nearly $1,000 worth of product that never made it to me, required me to drive up and gain access to a locked condo, or forced a kind owner at that condo to drive my package down to me. It is an absolute travesty that any reputable business would use OnTrac for delivery. It just harms the brand of the companies that use them.
Edit: they left an additional 4 packages at the WRONG address since my original review. I have since cancelled $2,000 of annual medications from Chewy and made sure their pharmacy supervisor knew that their failure to shift from Ontrac (and its repeated delivery failure in south Florida HEAT) to another shipper meant I could not support Chewy any longer, and OnTrac is 100% to blame.

This company do not care to deliver the packages. I am not sure why companies use ontrac to deliver their orders.
They do not read instructions, instead they send you an “unable to deliver” notice so you have to contact them and wait another day or two, just so they can send you the same notice.
Then they just return the package back to the company. DO ONTRAC STILL GET PAID FOR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES ? Because if they do….. that make sense that they do not bother to read instructions or care to deliver their packages.
