We ordered a good amount of furniture…

We ordered a good amount of furniture through a retailer in Norwich a sofa two chairs a footstool and a few cushions etc We ordered this on 28th November last year and of course was informed that there would be a long lead time. However we have now missed the original date ,was then told the 14th April no delivery then the 29th April no delivery all dates set by yourselves very disappointing if you can’t meet your own deadlines what’s the point in setting them

Poor returns procedure/Customer service

If you haven’t seen the item in person, don’t bother ordering online….because in the event it isn’t what you were hoping for and you need to return, you will have a headache.

Returned my item almost a month ago now. No acknowledgment email as you’d get with other companies (even though Royal Mail tracking service confirms that it has been delivered) no reply to my email to customer services a week ago. No reply to my social media message.

Really poor customer service and I won’t be purchasing from here again.

NO RAISED LIP ON THIS MUG TO STOP SPILLAGE AND OVERFLOW

Steer clear of Orla Kiely bamboo coffee travel mug. Very expensive product. The design on the lid is so flawed the coffee literally poured down my top and getting rid of coffee stains is not easy. If you place it in the drivers cup holder it will spill over as the hole is level with the lid and not raised.

Rude customer service assistant

I had been waiting for my sofa and snuggler for over 6 months. Every time the production date was postponed I received an e-mail with a new date. This week I received another cancellation e-mail but this time there was no new date given, no explanation or an apology. I rang their customer service just to Find out when the new production date would be. Unfortunately, I was not given any update and the person I spoke to was unprofessional, dismissive and rude. She kept interupting me and wouldn’t let me explain what my enquiry was about. It was the person’s attitude that made me cancel my order.

Expensive purchasing mistake

Disappointed with this furniture. We bought a sofa earlier in the year and ordered the snuggler which finally arrived after many delays.
The seats are made from very soft foam and are losing their shape after just a few weeks. In furniture that cost almost two thousand pound for the pair, it’s very poor value.
I would advise anyone considering buying this furniture to check that the foam is of reasonable quality.

The seats are becoming uncomfortable already.

UK7255 Stained bag

UK7255 Stained bag.

I recently purchased an across body bag from Orla Kiely and after wearing it for just one evening it was heavily stained from my jeans. The company's aware this staining happens, why then don't they coat the bags differently? This has never happened with a Radley bag.

I am sorry to hear your bag has been stained. We do advise on our website and on the swing tag that comes with the bag that fabrics like denim will rub off their colour on our bags and especially noticeable on lighter or cream bags.

The website promises next day delivery but no communication after a week & no reply from customer service.

Update - have now received my order but wrong item sent 😡

I am so sorry to hear about your experience ordering with us. Around sale periods, we do expect delivery times to take slightly longer than usual given increased volumes. (Even with increased capacity in our warehouse). We accept full responsibility for sending out the incorrect item to you. I can see we tried to resolve your query by sending out a replacement, but you decided to return the items in the end.

Absolute joke

Bought some tea caddies snd the rubber seal failed, you simply get ignored by them. Over priced tatt !

Review of Orla Kiely's free face mask…

Received Orla Kiely's free face mask via the Daily mail offer after 6 weeks wait. Disappointed with the product. The mask was very small, made of thin material and certainly not even worthy of the postage I paid. Will I recommend the product, definitely NOT.

We have listened to your feedback and from other customers and have made new improvements to the latest masks we are now selling on our site. Including: a pleated face to allow more room and make them larger around the face, larger elastic ear loops, and thicker BCI cotton. I hope if you ever saw the new face masks you would see all of your issues have been addressed.

Although the item was free with the daily mail, we do not ever intend to make product that does not live up the high standards we hold ourselves too and want to thank you again for your feedback and helping us improve our product.

ORLA KIELY face masks…

Ordered two ORLA KIELY face masks through an offer in a newspaper. They took a long time to arrive and I was expecting something special, even though I only had to pay for postage. However I am totally disappointed, the masks are too small, they don't have elastic ear loops and the loops are too short, so they pull my ears forward. They don't have nose wire, so they are loose around the nose. They are really thin. I wish I had saved my postage money.
