Waiting for a Refund

I also ordered an Aven Large fixture in mid-August and was then told that they would not ship to me in Spain. They accepted the order, took my money, and three months later informed me that they would not be able to deliver, and would refund my credit card. I have not been able to get a response from Outlight on my refund for several weeks now.
I see there are numerous reviews expressing the same communication and response issues - they do seem to respond to these negative reviews.

I had previously left a 1 star review because I thought the company was a scam since it took over two months to receive the product with very minimal communication from the company about the delay. However, I just received my Aven lamp and it is very much so real and very pretty. I think the company is new and wasn’t set up for the amount of customers they were getting, but it seems that their communication has improved and lamps are finally being delivered! Besides the late delivery and poor communication, I’m very happy with the lamp. Only downside now is I did not receive the summer sale gift that was promised.

Fake advertising, cheap and flimsy lamp.

I ordered the Fira lamp from outlight.us. It took around 5 weeks to arrive. The product is real, but is flimsy and made of cheap material. The shade is made of plastic, not glass. The reviews and the images are all AI, and they make the lamp seem much more premium than it actually is.

The product is real. Looks fine once lit and if not being inspected from up close, but is really not worth the price tag at all. I'd pay no more than $50 for a lamp made of these materials.

Fira’s shade is intentionally polycarbonate (for impact resistance and lighter weight), with a metal body; we’ll make sure this is clearly called out on the product page so there’s no surprise. Our listing photos are produced in-house to show finishes and scale accurately, and customer reviews are verified—if anything on the page felt misleading, that’s on us to fix.

Bad choice

Nice website and very good looking lamps. Good luck getting your order! Pretty sure they ship from China on a rowboat. No phone number to call and only one guy who works in customer service. Tracking says waiting for pickup in LA for 5 days. I am not optimistic that my lamp will ever arrive. These Chinese websites clearly have no inventory in the US.

Ordered lamp in July - no delivery and no more communication

Ordered lamp in July, got confirmation and then no update for weeks. Then they claimed they lost shipment and new production has started. No responses to my injuries. Then they sent me update that shipment has arrived and is ready for UPS final mile. Tracking number leads into nirvana. No updates.
Seems to be a scam, began working with credit card company. BEWARE, recommend to not engage with them commercially.

TOTAL SCAM ORDERED THE PRODUCT WAITED 8…

TOTAL SCAM FAKE WEBSITE.. ORDERED THE PRODUCT WAITED 8 weeks never received the light they kept telling me its in the Que for delivery. Never responded to multiple cancellation request. I had to have my credit card refund my money and dispute the charge. DO NOT BUY FROM this SITE IT IS A FAKE WEBSITE AND A SCAM. They will reply with fake reson for the delay. Please be aware I warned you… THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!

Ordered an Avern light 9 weeks ago and…

Ordered an Avern light 9 weeks ago and keep on getting the runaround as to where it is. First they claimed it was a supply chain issue, now they provided tracking from UPS, 10 days ago. UPS has not received the package.

This is shaping up to be a scam.

I have been emailing and no response

I have been emailing and no response. My order seems to be in an abyss somewhere and cannot track. There is no phone no to call. I can't imagine if there is a problem what their easy return policy will look like.

So far, so good...

So far, so good. After several attempts, I did finally receive a response from Outlight. They estimate from 4 to 6 weeks for delivery of their "Aven" lamp. Obviously, the product is made in China, and I expect that most of the long delivery time is down to customs and supply chain issues. So we'll see—but they did respond to email.

Zero customer service

Zero customer service. Not poor or bad, but completely non-existent.

I ordered an Aven floor lamp, my card was charged. A month later, no light and no communication. I sent 3 emails to the customer service email on their website (I’m not allowed by Trust Pilot to post it here) and received zero responses.

Yes I’ve checked my Junk folder.

I will be disputing the charge on my card. Don’t do business with these people. They will just waste your time.

*UPDATE October 13, 2025*
I still have no lamp and the only way Outlight has communicated to me is through their response to my review that they just posted to Trustpilot.

They haven’t attempted to contact me to resolve the TWO MONTH issue, but as you can see here they want me to reach out to them. How about they reach out to me and all of their customers that they haven’t delivered to in over two months?

Totally fake customer service!

No lamp.

Oh, and they asked Trustpilot to review my post here as “Defamatory”! Pretty nervy for a company to go to such lengths to silence a customer with a complaint while doing nothing to actually fix the problem that has now been going on for OVER TWO MONTHS!
