Overhype Store Avis 97

Entered the store only to be greeted by the worker watching adult material on his phone. They awkwardly fumbled about trying to turn it off as soon as possible. Upon challenging them on their inappropriate behaviour I was verbally insulted and had a cheese and onion sandwich hurled at me from across the room. Unfortunately, the police don't want to know. I won't be back.. Avoid!

Dodgy business... stay well away

Sold 3 pairs of trainers to overhype, said i would have my money the following week when the payroll goes out. Excuse after excuse came on why the money was not sent over. 2 months later still no money so went in to collect my trainers back and found out he had sold 2 pairs. Took back my other pair and another month later still waiting on my money. AVOID SELLING AT ALL COSTS.

Unfortunately this lad promises the cash but never delivers! Months chasing him for money for a top ! Complete scammer ! Do not deal with him as you will not get your money

Absolutely awful place, my son sold him trainers and was told money would be in the bank the next day. 3 weeks later and still no money after lots of excuses. 2 visits later from my husband and him having to say he wouldn't be leaving the shop without his money we eventually got our money. Would never use this shop again.

Sam , the owner is a scammer who lies to people and doesn’t pay them for the item they sell to him. He flagged my previous reviews and tried to bribe me with some free voucher if I took the bad review down! Avoid avoid avoid!

Stop replying to me with your lies and crap telling me im not in your system. You email me EVERY WEEK telling me you're waiting for payments from Shopify on a weekly basis. Just refund me my Money!!!! AND STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF PLEASE! what kind of human are you. You scammer. Lucky for you, TrustPilot doesn't have images it can upload otherwise I would screen shot every lie you ever told with every email telling me you'll pay and haven't!

Incredible amount of fake positive reviews from new accounts, some even with male names and female pictures - all within close date ranges to each other, clearly done to offset the waves of honest negative reviews all telling similar stories of LIES, DECEPTION, FRAUD and CRIMINALITY.

It comes as no surprise after being alerted to other recent social media posts circulating, which expose yet more instances of fraud.

Have bought from them myself and had the same tall tales for weeks on end, it’s quite incredible and absolutely embarrassing the amount of pathetic excuses this guy uses. He’s made quite a name for himself, for all the wrong reasons. He’ll no doubt try flag this review too, just like how he cleans up his social media comments.

Also doesn’t take a detective to se through his raffles venture. Just look on the Facebook page - not a single live draw in sight, because they don’t exist - just like the winners.

Absolute con, avoid at all costs. There’ll be an evening express article with a photo of him snaking his way out of the sheriff court very soon, mark my words!

Ordered online from them last year. Have email trails from them saying there were delay issues and never received the product. Have evidence of them ignoring or promising refunds but nothing ever happens. Do not buy from here as you will not receive your product and they will not issue refunds.

Awful company - had my shoes for 6 months and obviously couldn’t sell them for the extortionate price they decided to list them for - came back to me 6 months after authenticating them and told me they were fakes and he needed his money back… what happened within 6 months?! My shoes are 100% genuine and bought from a reputable and official stockist. I threatened to get trading standards involved to clarify they were genuine. They backed off straight away because they knew they would get caught out. Scammers - would highly recommend staying as far away from this place as possible! Negative stars if I could. Awful customer service and arrogant little boy running a business.

Any reviews that are over one star must be fake. This man sells stolen shoes. He tells people he will pay them and then lies and makes excuses for months. How he has got away with stealing from people this long and walking about like he is the rich man. He is a conman. He has had £900 worth of our shoes for months now that he cancelled payments at the bank and then write fake cheques and closed the shop anytime we went up. Trading standards are aware and the police have now been informed that we want our property back!

Overhypestore has a great selection of jackets and I am happy with my purchase. The price is reasonable and the customer service is top-notch.

I can only echo the poor reviews already given on these cowboys. If you’re thinking of buying from or selling to Overhype - don’t.

I emailed them to ask if they’d be interested in purchasing a SI overshirt, no reply. I then messaged on Instagram & they said yes, made an acceptable offer (eventually) so I went into the store (30/12/22) to complete the deal. I was given a receipt and told that the payments were done each Wednesday, the next being 4/1/23 and that I could expect the money in my account in 3-5 working days from the 4th. I had received no money by Monday the 9th and was then told they’d had “issues with their business account” (which seems to be a common theme amongst these reviews) and was assured they’d pay me by Friday the 13th. Needless to say I had still not received the money. I messaged again via Instagram to ask for an update and was ignored after telling them I’d be in store the following day to either take the item back or be paid cash.
I went into their store to be greeted by the owner who apologised profusely and paid me the cash there & then, repeating the line that they’d had issues with their bank accounts. I find it hard to believe that a business has constant problems with their banking. I’d suggest they should stop trading until they rectify this with whoever their bank is. Or perhaps just stop lying, that would also work.

Cannot recommend staying away from this mob any more. Three weeks to get paid for an item and I had to go in store to confront the owner to actually get paid. I’ve no idea what the boys business model is. Avoid.
