Paragon Bank Avis 

I have just opened a new Fixed ISA, Interest Rate competitive, not the highest but close enough and having dealt with Paragon for a few years you know they are efficient and safe. Adding money to an existing account is a little confusing to start with until you realise your adding to yourself, not Paragon, so Payee is YOU. And when you do its there in no time so Interest is earned straight away.

Reasonably straightforward but would have been better if the transfer of the total balance (and account closure) could have been done in one transaction.

Hi, I am a mortgage broker for John Charcol and I use Paragon very often, not only because they have competitive rates but also because of their service. Our relationship manager Sam Waterhouse is very helpful and very knowledgeable. Easily contactable and if he does not answer will come back to you on that day. Also if I have any quirky cases he will take his time out and speak to underwriters and in some cases get me approval before submitting. In short couldn't ask for a better BDM.
