Pathetic
Sent an A5 envelope, containing a few signed forms, from the UK to Barbados, using International Tracked and Sign.
The envelope took 5 days to reach Heathrow from Lincoln and was then flown to Cairo! It was then apparently flown back from Cairo and arrived at Heathrow 3 days later. That was 7 days ago and, according to Royal Mail, the letter is still at Heathrow awaiting a flight to Barbados, despite the fact there are 4 scheduled flights (2 BA, 2 Virgin) every day. Their 'Customer Service' inform me that, "delivery isn't guaranteed, and we'll endeavour to deliver the letter within the next 30 days".
Zero stars aren't an option
Zero stars aren't an option.
Given a 4.5hr window for delivery. I watch the postman come and go during the first half hour of the delivery window but I don't recieve my parcel. I ring the 0345 number, waiting 30 mins to speak to a call handler to be told there'll be a 2nd delivery with my parcel. I wait, watching, hours go by, I check the tracking number again which claims delivery was attempted!! I am apoplectic by this stage. No delivery was attempted at all, that's just lies to cover up for their incompetence. No card was left. I ring the stupid 0345 number to be told I have go through all this rubbish again tomorrow. What precisely is the point of this number as they can't answer any question or offer any solutions at all. I cannot properly convey my contempt for this useless, inept, lying, deceitful organisation. I look forward to the day they are fully privatised and all the lazy incompetent unionised wasters are thrown on the dole. I'm thoroughly sickened & disgusted with Royal Mail/Parcel Force, this nonsense is now normalised with them. Who do they think they are treating customers in this way, as if you've nothing else to do but wait for them to waste your entire day, and then lie to you and blame you for their incompetence? And somehow, no matter who you speak to, no one knows anything, no one is responsible, its all a big mystery. They are so bad it must be having a negative impact on the wider economy. Just tow it out and sink it. Parcel Force should be put into enhanced regulatory monitoring by Ofcom but I won't hold my breath.
I used to trust Royal Mail
I used to trust Royal Mail to take care with items I posted. Recently I have had a series of issues - items smashed or damaged, items “out for delivery” for multiple days on tracked services… It’s not acceptable and it’s damaging the reputation of my business.
Pendle Delivery Office in Nelson, Lancashire fail again
Pendle Delivery Office in Nelson, Lancashire succeed again in showing nothing but brain deadness. A delivery driver was seen exiting the van in the middle of the road, creating an obstruction to attempt a delivery, whilst leaving the vehicle running and committing two driving offences in the process - let’s hope somebody jumps the van he has the responsibility of one day and drives away with £1000’s on board or worse case scenario, the van encounters a hand brake failure, crashing and forcing him to own up to his stupidity. Weirdly, when he exited the van, he had no parcel(s) in his possession as he approached a customers front door in order to get an answer out of them and he then immediately went straight back to the van whilst still in the middle of the road for a good two-three minutes. To add further to his stupidity, upon him attempting my delivery and approaching my address, he eyeballed and acknowledged me through the window, reverses the van up to the front door, exits the vehicle whilst leaving it running a second time and committing another driving offence, smashes on the glass panel in the front door with his PDA, walks back to the van to retrieve my two parcels under 2kg each and brings them to me. I confronted him as you do, telling him not to do it again if he were to deliver to me in future. I told him to use the doorbell and wait a bare minimum 30 seconds for a response or take alternative means without trying to cause damage, I even demonstrated the doorbell was in operation incase his brain deadness was preventing him from establishing what a doorbell is or how it operates. He said “We haven’t got the time to wait” which more or less confirmed he couldn’t give a damn about customer service satisfaction including any customer who maybe wheelchair stricken, less mobile causing them to take longer to get to the door or unable to get outside for any delivery that maybe left or has to be collected from the depot due to him being impatient and wanting to make a quick getaway. He even had the audacity to question where my safe place is after both of my parcels had been scanned and handed over to me as if he didn’t know, the safe place clearly instructed with directions provided which he would’ve been notified of immediately upon scanning both of my parcels with the PDA he was in possession of. What’s more laughable is, how he wanted to bemoan he has no time even after he’d acknowledged me through my window twice whilst I was approaching the front door, yet he backed up how brain dead he is by exiting the van to immediately smash on the glass panel and then going back to the van to retrieve my parcels, I had my front door open before he’d even retrieved my parcels out of the van so due to his stupid approach, he applied more time to the delivery and wasted his own time at the end of it. He offered up no apology over the way he smashed on the glass panel in the front door with the PDA and thought it was best to state “if we damage it, we’ll pay for it, I’m a man of honesty.” So, this d******d is going out on his rounds to more or less aim to cause damage to various households due to his lack of brain cells, then enforcing his employer to fork out on repairs. Bearing in mind and with it being on record, Pendle Delivery Office in Nelson, Lancashire have previously informed me this behaviour wouldn’t happen again after I had to report previous personnel for using the same technique. If he’d gone back to the depot and said he smashed the glass in the front door of a customer due to his inappropriate use of a PDA to grab their attention, I guarantee he’d have no job the following morning. Upon him completing my delivery, he drove a short distance to a fellow neighbour in the estate to again exit the van a third time, leaving it running and committing a fourth driving offence. Upon leaving the van running on all three occasions, he left the drivers side door open to make it easier for any opportunist to jump in and drive away within seconds. During his second stop in the estate, believe it or not, he had the so-called “time” to spend a good two-three minutes having a verbal conversation at the front door, this is the d******d who previously stated “We haven’t got the time to wait.” To top things off and to commit a fifth driving offence, whilst driving out of the estate and reaching the junction, he showed lack of due care and attention by failing to indicate upon doing a right hand turn, this was whilst there was a driver of a second vehicle waiting to turn left, the driver of the second vehicle would’ve made the assumption he was either driving straight ahead or turning left. If there had been any vehicle turning left from the road immediately ahead of him at the same time he was turning right, he would’ve caused a collision due to his further failures.
Still waiting for a tracker 24
Still waiting for a tracker 24. States to to still at MC. Travel only 10 miles in 48 hours! What a joke. I did promise myself never to order from a company using RM, but here I am again.
Absolutely useless 🤬
I bought an item on eBay, which was then meant to be delivered by parcel force through a 48 hour tracked system. It is now eight days since they received the item and the only information remains that it is at their hub. What is most infuriating is that the seller has not been able to sort this out either. Frankly, parcelforce is a joke and I will make sure I never again by anything that is to be delivered by them.
I don’t know what’s happened to RM over…
I don’t know what’s happened to RM over the last few years but it’s absolutely shocking! Tracking numbers in the app constantly saying “unable to confirm the status of your item” on tracked 24/48 deliveries. That’s never an accurate time frame for delivery so why are we paying more for it! It’s more like a 2nd class delivery! Time for Royal Mail to get it together or give up the company to people who can run it efficiently.

have terminal brain cancer and had a…
I have terminal brain cancer and had a delivery 3 weeks ago from parcelforce. The delivery guy knkws I have brain cancer and my immune system is really low. He asked if I could open the door witch I did a few inches so he could take a photo of the door open. He pushed the door and hit my head all on ring door bell chicken my parcels in the door braking them. A few days ago he comes back says I have to open the door I said I have spoken fo coustmer services and I did not have to open the door he said I was being aggressive also on doorbell and he took my parcel. I knkw have been banned from receiving my parcels when the evidence is on my phone. Terrible how a dying man is treated and hit with his front door
Royal Mail and Parcel Force 48 hours delivery disaster!
I bought parcel force door to door delivery 48 hours on 2nd June 2026 and set the collection on 4th June 2026 which was collected and received their local office but since then nothing. Called them on 8th June, took over an hour to talk to somebody only to be told to either wait or submit a claim online for lost or delay. I've submitted a lost item claim but it said it will take them further 30 days to reply. Then on 8th june at 6:00pm received a surprise email saying it would be delivered on 9th June 2026 from 10:00-12:40am so had no choice but to take the day off. It's 14:48 now and I'm still waiting. I paid £18.25 in total for an office chair collection and delivery within 48 hours and this is service I received.
Worst delivery company ever!!
Worst delivery company ever!!! They lied two times about attempting to deliver my parcel, nobody came, I was home all day nobody came, Then I had to travel to there depo and had to wait over 2 hours on my day off work to collect it only to take it home and find my new laptop was broken, absolutely rude staff, never ever use this company absolute joke.
Terrible service
Let me begin by saying it is no surprise to me that 97 percent of reviews are at 1 percent. Today the Royal Mail attempted to deliver my parcel for the 2nd time because I was at work even though there is a note on my porch window asking them to leave in the bin shed behind them at the start of the drive which is walked and gated but they took it away for the 2nd time and put a card through the door asking me to scan qr code to rearrange delivery and if scan not working which it wasn’t then to manually input the 9 digit code which the post had not completed, eventually got scanner to work on app but then advised code not recognised, this service is totally unacceptable for businesses and customers and very typical of anything with royal in front of it.
Waiting times for customer service are…
Waiting times for customer service are horrendous. Made multiple delivery requests only for these to be ignored and package was attempted to be delivered. (Would have known this is delivery request to hold the package for collection was seen).
Why when a parcel can’t be left and…
Why when a parcel can’t be left and nobody is in, do you send an email confirmation and one of your red notes through the door that you will redeliver on a certain day, so we arrange for someone to be at home on that day, only to attempt the day before you stats, new i g nobody is in again. Typical Royal Mail and parcelforce. There’s a phrase which typifies this company to do with organising drinking and breweries. It better turn up tomorrow as stated
Royal mail more like joke mail.
Royal mail more like joke mail.
I bought a new car the beginning of March and my logbook never arrived. I contacted dvla and another logbook was issued to me . Again that logbook never arrived so I contacted dvla again and yet another logbook has been issued. This one was issued 2 weeks ago and I was told it would be here between 5 and 7 days . So Some scumbag at the Royal mail office must be stealing logbooks as I received a acknowledgement letter saying that dvla had updated their records and I was no longer the owner of my car even though its still sitting on my drive. Royal mail should be ashamed of there selves for letting it get such a disgrace.
This once very trusted institution is…
This once very trusted institution is turning into a 3rd rate delivery company. Used to leave a card for re delivery if not at home, but twice now this hasn't happened and when they've taken a photo of proof of delivery, the photo doesn't actually show where they've left it, so no proof at all!! I won't be choosing this delivery service anymore.
The worst
The worst
In December I sent a tracked and signed parcel with extra insurance abroad.
It was an expensive item I paid worth £500
The parcel never even left the UK Royal Mail premises
Since when I have been chasing my claim. And only in April did they approved the claim and promised to refund the money. Now it's June and I still haven't received anything
Called customer service they said they will look into it and I was told I will only get £150 refunded, which is nothing compared to how much I lost due to their negligence
Will not recommend to anyone using Royal Mail.
Constantly losing letters.
Royal Mail should be ashamed. I have family all over the UK and birthday cards are constantly going missing. These are children's birthdays!!! Its unacceptable. Would not use them ever again if there was an alternative for letters.
I had my parcel collected on Saturday…
I had my parcel collected on Saturday by RM/PARCEL FORCE....dont know what the difference is. Anyway my parcel was handed over to the courier only to get an email 10 minutes later stating they didn't collect my parcel????? I can't prove it but believe it was stolen by the courier...after spending 2 1/2 hours on the phone waiting to talk to someone to find out what was going on I was told..."Sorry we are closed now call monday" I've reported this to the police ....but doubt I will get back my items which had a value of £500 as the postman has stolen my items..... Saturday 6th June 09:49 was the time.
I would advise anyone to take a photo of any RM/PARCEL FORCE Courier when handing over any items for collection....heartbroken as the items were my late parents items.!!!
What’s the point of only providing…
What’s the point of only providing tracking info upon the day of delivery , by this time the benefits of tracking a planned delivery have been lost
Also you can’t even ask them to leave item in a safe place like most of the other parcel companies .
Maybe they assume people don’t leave there homes
Very unhappy with this company, actualy i am furrious
Very unhappy with this company. Today i had twi parcels ti receive, one from a shop, the other from a pharmacy, with my medical prwscription inside. The one from the shop got delivered(dropped in front of my door, not a secure location) while my prescription got returned due to incomplete adress at 10:44. The delivery of the other parcel was made at 11:00, at 11:40 i watched my prescription going back with the return van, when i went to the delivery center, to get my parcel. Why not ask for details from the sender? Absolutely useless company!!! My medical prescription got sent back imediatly, without any care for the customers. I worked for delivery companies in the past and they are supposed to ask for details from senders, when some issue appears with the address, before you send it back...but i guess, this is how much they care about their customers. I have my medical prescription delayed now for god knows how long, as it is weekend now. Thanks for the problems created, Royal Mail. Brainless drones you are, the workers in there....shame on you!
