I went to curry's in Longton cause I had a warranty purchased for my laptop .

Currys offers a 12-month parts and labor guarantee on laptop repairs

My laptop wasnt charging something wrong with the battery. I have been told that I'm not covered by the warranty . I cansel straight away the monthly cover and taken my laptop to one stop compurers in stoke. Faulty battery I've been told. My laptop has been fixed now.
Scam and a con company. Avoid. Customers service on the phone awfull as well . Never again I will use them

Went to Currys Wednesfield just off the M6 junction nine the staff there are that slow it is daft they do not know their Teck 30 minutes to try and sort a iPad. If there were somewhere else I could’ve gone. I would’ve done as their staff and their service or by far the worst around.

Curry’s online.ie. All I can say… scammers !!
Customer service is silent. My mails have been ignored, no reply from them. Money taken straight away two week after ordering I’m still with no goods.
This is appalling and I will cancel my order but also report them. This experience has made online shopping a nightmare for me and it’s absolutely disgusting to be treated like this
I think I’ve been scammed and all I want know is my money back

Non-existent delivery and customer service!

Ordered an "In-Stock" MEACO dehumdifier online from Currys Ireland. Paid for the "3-5 day delivery service." The full cost was taken from my bank account the following day. However, 10 days later there was no sign of my dehumidifier. Tried to ring the Customer Service phone number - but this is a UK number and Irish outlets do not have a local number. A recorded message told me to email their websales. I did that and never received a reply. Rang up MEACO in Co. Cork on a Saturday morning, talked to a sales contact. Ordered the same dehumidifier online & it was delivered in Dublin in 72 hours. Meanwhile, Currys still hadn't refunded my original order after I cancelled it!!

Currys in Ireland has to be the worst I have ever dealt with , I left a laptop in with them that I had just bought to be fixed, a week later it is still sitting there untouched. I contacted their customer service that promised to ring me back. They never did. Currys in Ireland needs investigaing by the CCPC, they are selling broken products at high prices, they are cowboys and should not be allow have a shop in Ireland if they do not conform to the Customer laws. Carrickmines Dublin Currys , beware as if you get a faulty product they ignore you. Boycott. It is obvious from all the bad reviews how really bad Currys is in Ireland

Do not buy from currys!

I stayed in England for a short period before moving to the Netherlands. I bought an expensive laptop from them, and I emphasized that I am moving soon to the Netherlands and need an international warranty. They assured me that the laptop has an international warranty, so I bought it. When it broke down, I discovered that the warranty is only valid within England. When I complained, they explained that the salesperson made a mistake and it is not their problem!

Bought a tv online for our son for…

Bought a tv online for our son for Christmas at the start of December. No damage to the box. We didn’t open it and wrapped it for Christmas When he opened it Christmas Day the screen was smashed. . We rang a couple of days after Christmas to sort it and were told that a courier would pick up the smashed tv and we would receive a replacement. We were happy with that. It’s now the 24 of January and after several phone calls back and forth they have now decided that because it is over the 30 days?? Since purchasing That they will not actually replace it and there is no more that they will do! Very disappointed and now have to spend more money to replace my child’s Christmas present.

Bought an expensive headset on the…

Bought an expensive headset on the 06/12/2024 to give as a present. They delivered to the wrong person/address that wasn't even similar name to mine. now it's 10/01/2025 and they don't refund me and eve retime I call they say is under investigation. The store wont do anything because they dont interact with the online shop. Never shopping at this place again. No respect for the customers or their money.

Worst. Never again.

One of the worst customer experiences I've had in recent years.

Ordered a small item early December. Item arrived on 19/12. It had been shipped in the display box with no additional protection and the item was badly damaged. I refused with the courier and the item was brought back to the depot.

5 emails later I haven't even received an automatic response. Phonecalls have been next to useless as the customer service people seem to only be interested in getting you off the phone.

I'll ask bank for a chargeback and i'll never buy from Currys again.

A total waste of time

We had ordered online a digital cat feeder on 2nd December to be collected at our chosen store. After a while they notified us by email that the item had been lost in transit and another one was on its way. On 24th December another email was sent saying they had lost the package again..??! This company is a joke. Their online tracking system does not work and impossible to get hold of customer service.
Do not bother wasting your time ordering from this company. We will be demanding a refund!

Do not buy Sharp washing machine and certainly AVOID Currys

Ordered a sharp machine machine on 9 th July . Not working since 0ct want an exchange .Cannot contact the store and have been completely ignored by customer services which is a oxymoron. Have emailed and rang but no progress . My contract is with currys but they do not seem to understand their contractual liability under consumer law .I cannot get a replacement or a repair

Terrible Customer Service - Do Not Purchase

Purchased a €1500 LG OLED from Curry's, which failed, 2.5 years into a 5-year warranty. I spoke to Currys and they refused to help with anything, they told me the warranty is LG's responsibility, which LG confirmed it is not. They are now refusing to engage or deal with me. I have taken this matter up with the CCPC and will need to take court action.

False email information

I ordered and paid online in the Carrighmines, Dublin branch,for a washing machine, I was informed my payment was accepted and I'd receive an email with the necessary information to collect the machine, I received the email the next day saying it was ready for collection and I had 10 days to collect it, my son went up Sunday, just before closing and spoke to Alan, they couldn't find my order on the computer even though I recieved a confirmation email, they hadn't one in stock either, I was offered a refund or wait for them to reorder one and they'd organise free delivery, In my opinion, that's a breech of contract, if I had known it wasn't there or in stock I would have gone elsewhere, I emailed them today at the email address Alan supplied and as of up to now I haven't even recieved a reply,
Never again Currys.
BAD customer service.

CURRYS LIMERICK.
Had to go back to Curry’s @ Limerick with a problem.
I was mainly dealing with David to resolve the issue.
David was a joy to deal with,everything that I asked he did for me.
David could not have been more helpful and definitely
gets 5+ Stars for customer service.
All the staff that I have dealt with in Curry’s @ Limerick
have been helpful courteous and friendly.
I will definitely buy from Curry’s @ Limerick again.
Again many thanks to Curry’s @Limerick and especially
to David @Tech repair.

Customer Service first-class.

Visited Currys Dundalk this morning and was assisted by Ulas to establish my requirements from a technical perspective. I lacked some technical detail at that time and arranged to return in the afternoon. Again I engaged with Ulas, supplied the relevant information , and he provided the part I required within two minutes approximately. Service was provided promptly by Ulas , with a pleasant demeanour at all times. His Customer Service was first-class.

Sonos and Henry Hoover

Went in there to get a Sonos speaker and a Henry Hoover! Transactional business no questions asked. I get the Hoover and bags, then have to wait for speaker personnel to available, to be told they don’t have any in stock. Then they say I can order click and collect when you go up and pay for Hoover. I go up and pay and they say I cannot order from them online but have to do it myself.
It’s no wonder people resort to buying online if this is what meets you… no service what do ever. Also got to carry the Hoover out to the car myself so no service was provided either! I won’t Be back.

Their price match promise only applies to anyone with the same terms and conditions therefore as every companies terms and conditions are different then they will only ever match the price of their own group !!!!!!!
7 day repair guarantee is a lie the 7 days starts from the day the engineer turns up 14 days after reporting the fault they should be ashamed of their adverts

Worst place on the planet, ordered an sd card for click and collect, 3 to 5 days delivery is what it told me, 3 weeks later they cancelled my order. had called to the store twice in the 3 weeks, emailed them twice and phoned them twice. The lady on the phone the first call which was about a week and a half in told me there was a delay with customs that it will be in store the following afternoon, they wouldn't reply to my emails just an automated email saying they were on the case and they know waiting is a pain, I had bought it on amazon for cheaper in the meantime and have it up and running but I was determined to wait it out and see how long it was going to take and they just cancelled my order, what a bad service if you could call it that.why do I have to leave a 1 star rating. Why can't I leave a no star rating because that is what they deserve.

We bought a Kenwood fridge worth 550 euros from Curry’s, supposed to have 10 years parts guarantee. Broke after 2 years, system fault with the compressor. There was one person on the customer service desk in Curry’s, and three on the sales desk. Guess where the massive queue was. I’ll give you a guess it wasn’t in Sales. They didn’t even offer a discount on a new fridge. I was amazed at the lack of customer service skills/ empathy/ any redress. When we explained we’d an engineer who looked at the machine, gave us documentation to confirm the fault and said that Currys should fix it as it was a machine system issue in the building of the machine the customer service guy said “what do you expect me to do for you today” which I knew from the offset meant he was going to do nothing. He then confirmed he would do nothing. Kenwood said they would do nothing on the phone. Went to their competitor instead and spent 1.5k there on a fridge, freezer and drier, Curry’s won’t get my money again in a hurry and my in laws were going to shop there today but heard of our experience and thought better to go elsewhere too. I’ve always had so much better customer service when buying other electrical items in other shops or when anything went wrong with such items so was surprised at just how atrocious customer service was in Curry’s. Both of us stayed calm, didn’t lose our tempers but walked out of the place feeling like we’d been treated like dirt.

Terrible customer service from purchase in store to delivery , to non collection of old appliances paid for in advance . To poor snd negative response to the point of making it difficult to contact store directly.
