Hello Daniele, we are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident you experienced with your stolen bike. We totally sympathise and we can understand the frustration and inconvenience this must have caused you.
Unfortunately this is a requirement of our policy which was not met. Storage outside at home (e.g. locked to railings, in the garden etc.) is also specifically highlighted in the security guidance document we give to all customers on purchase.
We value your feedback. We’re here to protect our customers’ bikes and these situations are always regrettable.

I wouldn't want my bike wheels to be stolen again, but if they were I know I have my back covered.

My bike was stolen while i was at home…
My bike was stolen while i was at home and therefore the door to my conservatory was unlocked at the time as i was periodically in and out. An opportunistic thief walking the back of my terraced street took the opportunity to steal my bike and because the door wasn't locked they refused to pay out. To the letter of the policy they're right (has to be force entry) but defeating common sense and reasonability.

It was a difficult time having my bike…
It was a difficult time having my bike stolen, was bought during the pandemic and was my dream bike. Pedalsure were polite, helpful and understanding and dealt with the claim quickly and with no fuss. Made a bad situation much easier to handle and I am very appreciative of their approach. As a footnote please ensure you keep all receipts is my advice as it makes the claim easier

Great company when you have a claim
Could not fault Pedalsure.. My bike was stripped of its seatpost, saddle, handlebars and shifters which was quite an upsetting experience, since I’d just upgraded them. Pedalsure dealt with my claim swiftly and efficiently and made the whole experience much more bearable.
