This was such an incredible villa. The views are spectacular and the property was beyond our expectations. The staff took care of all our needs with professionalism and courtesy. I travel to PV two or three times a year ,and this Villa is hands down worth every penny. Everyone in our group commented how comfortable the beds were. It felt like sleeping on a cloud. We will definitely be back.

Great Villa for a Family Vacation!

Amazing vacation at Tamar Villa. It had everything one could ask for. Views were really good and great service and location.

Our villa was beautifully furnished with an amazing infinity pool and a stunning view of the ocean. Our cook Deana was superb and our contact person, Daniela, was terrific. A+ experience. I want to make this an annual trip.

Villa Long Beach in Punta Cana DR: Unfortunately the quality for the home did not match the photos and description of the home posted in the listing. I try to be understanding of vacation and rental properties as I own myself but we paid a lot of money to stay here and I expected the home to be in much better condition. Some of our party ended up spending half of our vacation at an resort near by due to sanitation issues at the villa.

-The condition of the home is very far removed from the photos in the listing (with the exception of the outside of the home and pool). The home is significantly older and has rust, mold, an order in areas and broken parts throughout. I provided pictures to the home manager on our first full day of the stay and they responded by saying "The house is 18 years old..."
-The ac does not work in the common areas. It was 86-88 degrees in 50% of the property. This created a significant odor throughout the entire villa. The maintenance staff and house manager was aware of it and said there was no fix.
-The cleaning staff was present all day from 9-3 but they did not do anything besides make half the beds in the villa. The majority of the time we found them laying on the couches in the common areas of the villa while talking on the phone. We went several days without fresh towels and without the bathrooms cleaned and sharing our common areas with them. While we did not need maid service, it was odd to have maids laying in our common areas of the house we rented and then not even receiving fresh towels from them.
-Half of the refrigerators and showers did not get cold. Some of the refrigerators had left over old food in them. There was also left over food in the cupboards and trash cans.
-Most of the TVs also do not work or don't have remotes to turn them on.
-We requested Chef services one night and while the food was fine, we were told the price would be $110 plus groceries. The chef charged us $150 plus $250 for groceries plus tip. I have been grocery shopping in the DR and there is no possible way that the groceries for that meal were $250. I do not mind paying a higher rate but I think the price was very misleading and should have just been accurately quoted up front. The menu was also very different than what was presented to us. I was told that they would provide us a receipt for the groceries and after a few days I got no response besides that they may no longer have.
-The wifi worked find for day 1-2 but it stopped working after that.
-There were several roaches found during our stay. They were seen floating in the pool, coming out of the couches and seen in the bathroom. The mosquitos and biting mites were also excessive. The staff said that the roaches were standard for the summer in DR, but when we went to a resort up the street on the 5th day of our vacation there were no bugs at all.

Overall the home is NOT in the condition advertised on the listing and the lack of AC and proper/sanitary refrigeration is a health concern.

I will note some positives: The house was located in a great neighborhood and the booking staff and cleaning/maintenance/security staff were all very kind while we were there. The outside and grounds of the home is accurate to the listing. The pool and outdoor furniture were nice and the most comfortable portion of the home.

Villa Eclipse is incredible. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The views, the amenities and the service was all exceptional

awesome house, awesome location, awesome staff. It is by far the best house on a sandy beach close to downtown PV. (Other beachfront homes you have walk down several flights of stairs to get to the beach) The beach is sandy but has some rocks which is ideal for snorkeling. The rocks also have oysters. (we would watch a local diver harvest a bag of oysters which we would purchase and have fresh oysters on a regular basis) The beach is not very crowded due to limited access (and we were there during Easter week). The landscaping and planting creates a very private atmosphere. You cannot see your immediate neighbors. it's like you own private villa in the jungle and on the beach. The staff is great. My only complaint would be the house seems a bit over staffed. There are 10+ people working all the time. If you turned around there would be 2+ people offering to get you something. On the last Sunday of our stay the staff was off. To my surprise it was kind of nice not having all of them there. Don't get me wrong - they were all super nice people. But it definitely takes on a different dynamic being there 10 strangers versus just your own people. The previous house we rented had 3 staff people + a night watchman. That number seemed to be less obtrusive.

The home is gorgeous. Perfect location. Excellent for large group. Staff on site to look after our needs. BUT Unfortunately our experience was tainted as 10 item, ranging from toothpaste to cell phone went missing over a 3 day period. Owner would not assist in our claim. Be careful

We had a wonderful one week stay at Villa El Polo 35! The Villa was beautiful with excellent wifi and air conditioning. The staff at the villa provided outstanding service. The agent was very helpful and responded quickly to any requests or questions we had. I would highly recommend Personal villas to any friends and family or anyone considering a stay at Casa de Campo villas. That are terrific. We will be back again!

We had the best week celebrating my 50th birthday with 20 of my closest friends and family at Villa Balboa. The house was perfect for our crew ranging in ages 37-74. It was a great layout for us to gather as well as spread out. The staff and service was OVER THE TOP. Ubaldo took the best care of us. Chef Ernulfo made the most incredible meals and snacks! Eduardo was always working on things all of the time. Irma and Susana cleaned up after us more than they should and having Juan Carlos provide security at night helped us all sleep soundly. Monse, the concierge, arranged for every little need that we could come up with. We all hated to have to leave. I highly recommend this house and would absolutely stay there again.

What an incredible time & place! From the Stunning views & accommodations to the Fabulous staff. We were taken care of from the beginning of our stay to the end-no stone unturned. Chef Charly, Jose & Lupita were the Best. We cannot Wait to return to Ventanas Al Mar!

We had the most wonderful holiday at Reeds House, Barbados. The villa and surroundings were stunning. A special mention for Mark, Sabrina and Charmaine who made our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after us so well. We would all rush back in a heartbeat.

Three families (one from New York, one from Houston, and one from Atlanta) converged at this impressive villa in Barbados, just steps away from one of Barbados' best beaches, for the Thanksgiving week. With 6 adults and 9 kids (ages ranging from 3- 15), the Bluff House had plenty of rooms for all. The al fresco common areas were very comfortable. The staff was amazing! I will admit that I was hesitant at first to lay out a large non-refundable deposit so many months in advance, figuring that any number of variables in traveling internationally with so many individuals existed (especially with Covid)...but all worked out. Robert was very helpful as questions came up and put us in touch with our contact at the property prior to arrival. All requests were expeditiously granted. The whole team made the experience seamless and that allowed us all to thoroughly enjoy our vacation!

We recently stayed in By The Way for a golf tournament. Nisha, is absolutely wonderful and we felt the villa was our own and she is family. Nisha’s kindness, attention to detail makes her a true professional and we were so happy we made the choice staying at By The Way. The overall experience was second to none for The Tryall Club, from the airport to the villa. Top Notch. We highly recommend eating at home and with Nisha cooking you would be a fool to not enjoy. The commissary at Tryall has everything you need from food to spirits and In between. Personal Villas was a spectacular host and we were happy with there service and quick response to every need. The golf course is a breathtaking course and the service is impeccable. In addition, having a golf cart is a must and the fact that one is provided is a major bonus. My family and I can’t believe how lucky we were to have such a great host and it was truly one of the most relaxing vacays we have been on. We can’t wait until next year to come back and extending our trip next time. Just a few tips for your trip:

- bring cash and save it for the tips.. 10-15% is customary for staff. Tips and daily cooking is not added to your bill.. don’t blow all your cash, save it for the end.
- eat at home like a family, you won’t regret it
- By The Way has Bluetooth speakers on patio where other villas do not ( it’s a major plus)
-Bengie (JUTA) is a very nice man and can take you anywhere you want to go
- the restaurant at the beach is very slow and food won’t be what you expect (see #2)
- you can charge everything at commissary to your room and also the golf course, pro shop, etc which makes it very easy!!
- please take care of Nisha because she will take care of you ❤️🇯🇲

Jay with personal villas was very helpful. He was very prompt communicating with me about our trip and was still very helpful handling matters throughout our stay. I would use personal villas again the service was much appreciated

We had an incredible vacation in PV! The staff was very attentive and hospitable. The concierge made transportation from/to the airport and to/from our fishing trip seamless. The trip exceeded expectations across the board! I would highly recommend utilizing Personal Villas for a PV getaway!
