Overall everything was well organised and the stay in the Camp in Wadi Rum had the quality and cleanliness expected. The guide was correct but did not tell us much at all about Petra, except for 10 mi... Voir plus

Driver Great! Agency Good but a little shady.
I was a little nervous about hiring a driver rather than joining a tour group, but I’m so glad this is how I did it. The customer service was very responsive and helpful in setting everything up, which helped make me feel more comfortable. I was told I’d be met by a representative to help me cross the border into Jordan, but they didn’t meet me until I’d already crossed in. Be aware that Jordan border “officials” will charge you fees that you won’t fully understand. I wish I’d had more assistance actually crossing, but the gentleman, Ramzi, who met me in Jordan was helpful and explained what I needed to do when crossing back to Israel (part of which was getting my border paper stamped at Petra). He then took me to meet my driver, who was the best! I was taken to Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba, which were all amazing. The driver stopped along the way to get me food and let me shop as well. He spoke English well enough and was very, very friendly. I absolutely loved him and felt very safe. He gave me brief explanations of the area as we drove too, which was nice, and had me back to the border on time.
Despite having followed the instructions given to me by Ramzi when I entered Jordan, the border “officials” still demanded multiple fees be paid without explanation. When I messaged Ramzi to ask if these were legitimate, it turned out that I was messaging the “official” standing in front of me, which means that the Ramzi from the morning wasn’t really Ramzi or they somehow share a phone? This was very confusing and raised alarms about corruption. I would probably use this company in the future but only because the driver was so great. I would be more skeptical of the border assistance provided since, after everything was all said and done, it seemed like the agency was working with the government or is part of it. Overall, everything was fine, but the guy being presented to me as Ramzi in the morning not actually being who he said he was (and he was VERY nice!) was very unsettling. The real Ramzi was not very nice.
Advice - bring cash for the Jordan border crossing portions and get to the border at 7:45am and return to it no later than 7pm. I know it says they’re open until 8pm, but we got there at 7:20pm and they were all ready to go home, and many already had. I’m still unsure whether the agency is part of the government, but the driver was so great and on time and all that, that I can’t say I had a bad experience. Just a shady one - border-wise.
Amazing experience
I had an amazing experience in my 2 day tour to Aqaba, Wadi Rum and Petra. The boat tour in Aqaba (75$ extra) was definitely worth it. The Jeep and camel rides in the desert offered breathtaking views. Stargazing at Wadi Rum was just magical and the day at Petra was wonderful.
Our guide, Methqal, was a very friendly, deeply knowledgeable young man who could answer all our questions and made us feel very comfortable.
Definitely recommend him.
Overall - a good one!
The trip started a bit off with the ridiculous 65$ I had to pay in the border, the official fee is 30$ or 109 NIS. The representative at the border wasn't willing to tell me why am I paying an additional fee of 35$, and I felt like I'm being scammed.
After passing to Jordan I felt the complete opposite, Ahmed was an amazing guide, he explained everything about the history of the places we went to, and most importantly cared for me and wanted me to have the best time in Jordan.
Had an amazing time in Wadi Rum, and Petra was fabulous!
Overall I had a very good time, the way it started was a bit disturbing though.
We have been waiting to take this trip…
We have been waiting to take this trip for thirty years. Petra, Wadi Run, and Amman were all bucket list items.
The company was very easy to work with and Christina was always responsive to my e-mails and questions. We did one of the tours in reverse order (starting in Eilat) and it made things a bit wonky. Our day at Wadi Rum was done very early. We were done by lunch time and we were somewhat stranded at the Bedouin camp. Petra was fantastic as was Mount Nebo. The vehicles were all clean and comfortable and non-smoking. Everyone was on-time and everything that was promised was provided.
Our drivers and guides were excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. I know that tipping is up to the guest, but some guidelines would have been really helpful. Also, I had brought enough US dollars for the tips I knew we had to give, but everyone expected a tip and I was out of cash by the end of the tour.
The only other comment was about returning to the Israeli side at the Beit Shean crossing. The process is very confusing. Most had been explained, but I was not aware that they would only accept cash and not credit cards. Also, upon exiting customs on the Israeli side, we did not know there was still one gate to get through before meeting our driver. Written out instructions would have been helpful. Also, the time the taxi driver on the Israeli side was given was more than 90 minutes before we made it through. If my Hebrew was not passable, he would have left thinking we were no-shows, because he spoke almost no English.
Information Incomplete about this Tour
Once our group arrived for the night at Wadi Rum, the guides with us left for the night. We had no idea when to meet the next morning to depart for Petra.
The stargazing experience was a lecture on astronomy followed by maybe 10 minutes of looking at stars through telescopes. I would not have purchased this excursion had I realized there is minimal time spent stargazing.
Petra was FABULOUS!
You need to let tourists know what time their tour will arrive in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv after the day in Petra. That information is important as we had booked a tour for the day after we arrived back in Tel Aviv at 2 am. We were exhausted and missed the tour and lost our money. Had your description shared the return information, I would never have booked the tour.
Awesome Experience!
Our tour guide Mohammed was awesome and very knowledgeable! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend anyone to choose this tour.
I greatly enjoyed my trip
I greatly enjoyed my trip. The itinerary was very good and I feel that I did get to see the highlights of Jordan. Our guide, Mohammad, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, kind, caring, friendly, humorous, and made our experience something never to be forgotten.
3 day tour from Jerusalem
We did the 3 day tour from Jerusalem: Jordan highlights, Wadi Rum & Petra. Overall incredible experience to visit another country in short time. Wadi Rum was our favorite, while Petra is a must see :) Having said that, I will focus on what to improve to make it a 5 star experience, at least in our recent trip:
- There was zero assistance when we arrived to the border crossing. Bus driver dropped us there to figure it out ourselves. It took us almost 3 hours to cross from Israel to Jordan, because we had to pay one by one. If someone from the tour had assisted us and paid once together, we could have gone through easily in 30 min tops. If I recall, that was supposed to be the case, as explained in an earlier version of the website/itinerary. That would have avoided much confusion. Jordan crossing was actually very easy and smooth - since we did have a tour guide on the other side.
- As a result, first day we had about 3 hour delay, which means we missed a few visits in Amman, even if our local guide did his best to accommodate. Side note: on an earlier version of the itinerary, I understood we would only pass by Amman. I actually appreciated that we spent more time, and got to know Jordan better, rather than just seeing Petra. Unfortunately ....
- that also meant that we had very little time to explore Petra itself :D. We only had 3 hours on the last day. We actually had to leave the group and miss the explanations to enjoy it better on our own. Even then, we were not able to reach the Monastery (and back) in time without missing lunch. In all, we barely followed the time schedule during the 3 day tour. Organization & time keeping was definitely the ONE thing to improve.
In conclusion, great experience to enjoy Jordan in a short time. Itinerary is quite good: one day in Amman, one day in Wadi Rum, one day in Petra & back. However, assistance on the Israel side of the crossing & overall organization and keeping to the schedule are definitely points of improvement for a memorable experience.
Pick up in Tel Aviv was right on time
Pick up in Tel Aviv was right on time. There was a lot confusion when we got to the border at Jordon. We arrived at 7:15 am but the border doesn’t open until 7:30. We were not given directions by the tour company what the procedure was for crossing the border into Jordon. I think it would be helpful to give instructions on how to maneuver the border area. The Jordanians were very helpful and took great care if us until our guide arrived. Our guide and driver were great in Amman.
Great experience if you wish to join a tour
The whole experience was great. The personnel were very helpful both on the Israeli side of the border and crossing the Jordanian border. Our guide Nizar was great and made sure we had all the information about the sites visited and much more (just don't trust blindly his tips about where to buy souvenirs, do your research - we paid 10x more on head wraps by following his advice). All activities were nicely timed and besides the obvious Petra highlight, the "jeep" tour in the Wadi Rum was also great. If you don't wish to worry about the border and booking things, the 2-day tour is more than recommended. However, if you organize your own trip, you can choose among the vast amount of desert camps to sleep over in Wadi Rum and you should definitely be at Petra when the gates open and escape from the hords. You can visit everything (including the Monastery and back) in just one day, but not with the tour, because you'll arrive there at 11h30 am, when the place is already completely crowded. All in all, a great and well organized experience.
The trip was fantastic and the end…
The trip was fantastic and the end result "the Treasury" Is as good as expected. The trip is a very long day 13 Hours, be prepared for time through Customs 7 times the passport was checked each way. The roads in Jordan are not the best and its very hot. But a wonderful place.
It was an amazing experience
It was an amazing experience. The tour bus was on time and they are very professional and nice. Special mention to Karim our tour guide from Wadi Rum and Petra. We (me and my friends) highly recommend Karim. He is awesome and very caring. He is always smiling. The hotel was amazing as well and all the staff are friendly and nice.
I saw PETRA..AMAZING.
I wanted to see petra and they took me to do it...a long long long day from tel aviv.. we didn't stop wadi run but it is ok..we were 5 people and we are 5.9f and 6f we were in a mini van ,the seat were small for us...I SAW PETRA..

We had a fantastic time with Petra From Israel!
Patra is amazing but locals are not
We joined a one day trip from Tel aviv to Patra, it started from 2am ends at 1am. We love the scenery and Patra itself but has a few dislike:
- morning passing through custom was a long wait for no idea why. We done all the told procedure in an hour, then just sit there for another hour no explanation. Its a waste of time sitting there for an hour have no idea why.
- the tour guide should warn us about the locals there. We agreed to ride the horse for us$25 for two, then when i gave the local us$50 they refuse to return the change to us. Its like asking for 100% tips! In the end i got back $10 but i am sure we are not alone. We witnessed another visitors has a big argument with the locals who operate the car. And a boy who just help me 1 min of camel complained my us$2 tips too little! Its quite annoying dealing with, hope the guide and company can warn the foreigner what should we do: bring in small changes, at least!
- the tour descriptions said we will make a stop at Wadi Rum, no it didn’t happened. Only stop we did is a gift souvenir shop (its ok), but i was hoping to see Wadi Rum as well.
- the driver was a bit rude at 11:30pm when a few customers want to go toilet, and he refuse to make one more stop (from 8:30-12:20 there are only 1 stop for toilet!) I understand its a super long day for everyone, but not everyone can hold for 2 hours without going to bathroom.
The van was very nice for the six of…
The van was very nice for the six of us. Driver just didnt come out of it to let us know who he was so we were walking around a bit looking for him. He conducted A LOT of phone business all the way back to tel aviv. Overall it was a pretty good experience.
It was overall a great experience!
It was a great experience. I really enjoyed it.
However I believe there is some feedback I can provide that will help others have an even better experience.
1.- tour guide (Nizar) in Jordan did not share much, neither historical nor overall detail and information about the places we were visiting.
He is nice but I would have expected more details, specially in Petra.
Actually in Petra, he did not share any information besides the time we were going to meet for lunch.
I would have liked some more detail and overall information about Petra.
2.- The tour should arrive earlier en Petra, so leave earlier from Wadi Rum to ensure visitors have enough time to visit Petra.
I feel I had tu rush over Petra in the time we had.
3.- bus in the Israel portion to an from Elad was too crowded and seats were too tight and uncomfortable.
The 3 day tour from Eilat is amazing
The 3 day tour from Eilat is amazing. The logistics went incredibly smoothly (transports, accomodations), but keep in mind that the only part handled by Tourist Israel is going through the border. The rest is by Jordanian Experience, a Jordanian company. I did not understand this when booking the trip, and it made me a bit nervous at first as an Israeli myself that there was no Israelis involved at all in handling the logistics on the Jordanian side. It will be said that I felt safe the whole time and our guide Nizar was amazing!
Everything was amazing except the night in the bedouin camp in Wadi Rum--I upgraded to a martian tent and it was not clean. The camp does provide two meals, but both meals do not include any drinks, not even water. Thankfully I had bought water in Aqaba before, because all drinks in this camp were 4 times the price of anything outside.
Incredible visit in Jordan
Overall such an incredible visit in Jordan. It was arranged very well and managed by a great guide. Wadi Rum and Petra were stunning!
Communication about the itinerary can improve for next time, so you know more about the plans and what is expected. I was left slightly confused a couple of times, though every time I asked, everyone was helpful.
The group started out big, but on the last day it was small and intimate. That was a great experience that I shared with a bunch of lovely people.
