I sold them my fully working nikon d700 via eBay, they then requested a refund and returned the camera stating that the lens would not mount to the camera, the lens had a lug broken off and the shutter on the camera was broken,
So they returned the camera and received a refund leaving me negative feedback for the above reasons.
I received the camera back this morning and there is nothing wrong with it, the lens mounts fine and the shutter definitely works, I told them this and they called me a liar. Well the unboxing video is on YouTube for all to see

This review is exceptionally misleading and omits several key facts.
At no point did we ever state the camera shutter was faulty. That claim has simply been invented after the event.
The issue raised was that the supplied lens had one of the rear mounting lugs physically broken/missing. The original listing described the item as “fully working” and did not disclose this damage anywhere.
We emailed the seller clearly explaining the issue with the lens mount. There was never any mention from us that the camera itself was broken. We were subsequently advised by the seller to return the item.
After the return, the seller then acknowledged in messages that the lug was indeed missing and later amended the relisted advert to include this defect — confirming the exact issue we originally raised.
No negative feedback was ever left by us despite what is claimed above, which is yet another inaccurate statement within this review. The seller currently only has one eBay feedback, and we deliberately chose not to leave negative feedback as we initially believed this to be a simple oversight. Once the lens was finally checked properly, the seller did amend the relisted advert to correctly disclose the missing rear mounting lug.
It is also worth noting that the review refers to “James”, despite all communication throughout the transaction being with “Alexander”.
What is disappointing is that instead of simply accepting the undisclosed fault and resolving matters professionally, abusive accusations via email and texts were later directed towards our staff after the item had been returned.
We repeatedly asked the seller to physically inspect the rear lens mount itself, as the missing lug was clearly visible. Once this was finally checked and acknowledged by Alexander, the relisted advert was amended accordingly by him to disclose the defect we had identified from the outset.
We deal with used photographic equipment daily and simply reported a genuine physical fault with the item received. Nothing more.
