Using Plumbs was the right decision
I purchased several different services from Plumbs: from a kitchen roller blind, window seat cushion, to reupholstering a sofa, armchair and stool. All of this was booked on one home visit. Booking clearly discussed with agent who took accurate measurements, had a wide range of fabrics and was able to advise on the most practical for my purposes. Timescales made very clear (took about 3 months for everything to be completed). Very friendly and professional service from all involved. I can't fault the quality of the end products and I am very pleased I used Plumbs.

Update : apparently they have some IT issues but hope to have an update at end of week.

Poor communication including extended delivery times.
Final product good , however explored other alternatives with local connection to find significant lower prices.
Plumbs since new management appear not have the ownership of the business.

We ordered two new seat cushion covers and arm rest covers. They arrived sooner than we expected and are an excellent match as advised by Margaret who came to measure up.

Great service
From first contact customer service was great . Consultant Anita rang, arranged a visit to discuss my options and requirements and arranged for samples to be sent. Once I had chosen Anita returned , took numerous measurements and returned just a few weeks later to fit the loose covers . I'm absolutely delighted with the results and very impressed with service all throughout the process. Would definitely recommend Plumbs

Shutters in living room
Amazing service from start to finish! The shutters look fantastic and have completely transformed the living room. Friendly, professional team, excellent communication and a perfect fitting. Couldn’t be happier with the result and would highly recommend!

Very good communication and pick up and delivery went smoothly. Wonderful job. Really good quality. Lady who arranged everything for us was excellent. Chairs now as good as new.

I am completely happy with my choice to use Plumbs. They are professional, helpful and knowledgeable. There is a vast choice of fabrics. Plumbs had already fitted my lounge curtains. So, for my sofa covers I went straight to Plumbs as the quality of fabric and professionals working is excellent. The process was smooth and coordinated and communicated effectively.
I received samples that I chose. Then I met my specialist consultant and reviewed fabric options. I stuck to my first choice. Margaret professionally measured my sofa and foot stool. Plumbs were made these for me quicker than I anticipated and were fitted professionally.

This is the third set of loose covers from Plumbs and i love them.
This is the third set of loose covers ive had from plumbs and each time they are brilliant. Great fit great fabrics and great value for money. I am always thrilled with them. Karen Campbell my consultant is very knowledgable about the products she sells and the whole process from ordering them to fitting them is so easy. The quality of the workman ship on the covers is supberb hence the reason for reordering them. Thanks to all the team who work on them.

Great personal service
Everyone I spoke to, whether face to face or in person was friendly and helpful. It seemed that everybody knew each other. There was a mix, up with the fitting date which meant my curtains arrived a couple of weeks later than I was expecting. I had thermal linings which are very thick - they don't open as far as my old curtains so I will have to get some metal tie backs. This could have been explored at the consultation. The curtains look lovely when drawn at night.

Rob took great care to measure everything, also showed us lots of samples until we found what we wanted. He returned to fit the covers and ensured they all fitted correctly. Very professional, polite and helpful. Extremely pleased with the service

The wrong material
I ordered additional armcovers and although they arrived quickly and were of as equally good quality as the originals they were a different colourway of the pattern.I contacted my local Plumbs rep and she was very helpful and said that if I returned them I would probably get a full refund but could not guarantee that Plumbs would replace them with the correct colourway. That would mean that I would have no spare arm covers, so although they are not a true match I have to hope people won't notice! I am very disappointed.
