My experience was frightening and disturbing. I spent over £2,400 fixing a car to pass its MOT only to pick up the car and within 2 days the same warnings lights come on. Its as if they deliberately switched off the warning lights to pass the MOT. I brought the car back twice. The tryre/wheel alignment warning light was ignored and the air bag was still on. They told me on Friday that they are still waiting for parts regarding the wheel alignment and the airbag problem needed another £600+ to fix. My concern is, was I driving around with a car that was not road worthy ? and why didn't they tell me that the wheel alignment was not fixed when I originally picked up the car. They are known for over pricing and being fraudsters. i will not stop until i get a full refund . I don't want them to touch my car ever again.

Avoid Avoid ! Far from Prestige !

Firstly this is a dealership (I use the term lightly) that clearly uses a dodgy mechanics to fiddle their MOT’s as upon a inspection after sale it was not road worthy and should never have been sold or in fact passed with no advisories.

Immediately after sale have requested refund and the clowns ignore emails as well as calls and letters so now going down the route of the small claims court to get the money back. Thankfully due to the clowns they are I will get the money based on the fact I’ve followed the processes for doing so and have collected all the evidence.

They will not “collect” your car or issue a refund and dodge everything to do with assisting in any possible way.

Please avoid at all costs. Scammers

Reneged on their two winning bids from 2 different selling agencies despite me accepting them. Their business practices are anything but prestigious

Prestige were the highest bidder for my car via Motorway app. I accepted their offer electronically and got all my paperwork ready for them to collect my car.
Two days later Nathan from Prestige calls me. I'm expecting regarding arranging a time to collect the car but no, to ask me what price I would sell the car for. Basically he told me there had been a mix up and someone in the company had input the wrong price and it should have been 30% lower. I tell him he should honour the price they bid. He presses me to accept the lower price (without yet seeing the car) and then asks me to cancel this deal and resubmit the car again to repeat the whole process with Mitorway. He also tells me this has never happened before.
I refuse and tell him to honour the price he quoted. He refuses amd reneged on the deal.

I also used Carwow to get quotes from dealers and guess who the winning dealer was?? Prestige obviously, at a price below the ione Nathan had just reneged on but still some 20% above the price he was now offering. Clearly not a one off occurrence.

Draw your own conclusions but i would suggest Prestige have low.level business practices/integrity and Nathan himself has zero morals.They should be banned from bidding for cars from Motorway/Carwow and any other similar car selling agents with these business practices.
I know i wouldn't want to buy a second hand car from them (mine excluded of course). Be warned

Smooth Easy, Quick

I wanted to purchase a Volkswagen Golf and part exchange my old car. Going to be honest it was a smooth transaction. I got roughly what I was looking for the part exchange change value.

The guy who sold me the car was very kind very clear about the car that I bought showed me everything and anything I wanted to see about the vehicle and the exchange was very fast and simple to complete.

Genuine Review

After having bad experience with dealerships, I got lucky with this lad. Found his advertisement for the car and decided to head there the day after. Solid deal, was honest and thorough. Bought the car and have had no issues. Maybe the car was great and I got lucky but remember do your research and don't be scared to ask questions. Bloke answered all of mine. :)
If there's any red flags don't buy but the car I bought was perfect. And remember if its not on paper, it's not true.

Overall 9.5/10 - lost a 0.5 rating because Volkswagen took a week and half to transfer V5 to him and then to me.
