I have had our 3 security cameras from this company for almost 7 years now. I really only deal with Dan by email. His responses are prompt, he always sends out plenty reminders when our renewal date is due. The majority of the maintenance men that come out for our annual check-ups are kind and considerate and run a thorough check of all the equipment. I would definately recommend this company.

Great service as always. Dan has been exceptional this year, sorting out our new gold maintenance package. Within seconds of purchasing a lady phoned to book our annual service. This company are definitely on the ball with customer service and making sure things run smoothly with your cctv. Definitely recommend buying a the gold maintenance package - we get home visits to rectify any issues.

Very disappointing
I had a very disappointing experience with Prime Security. I paid £1,600 for an 8-camera CCTV installation, but the engineer showed up with only 6 cameras and had to return the next day to finish the job. He seemed far more focused on getting paid than doing things properly — waving the card machine around before even tidying up or completing the work properly.
The quality of the install was rushed, no clean-up was done, and the promised CCTV sticker wasn’t provided. After the job, I had to chase them repeatedly just to get my invoice — something that should be standard. It took multiple emails, calls, and weeks of back-and-forth for something as basic as a receipt.
Overall, very unprofessional and stressful experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone who values proper service, transparency, or respect for customers.

We're sorry to hear that you were left dissatisfied, but we’d like to clarify a few key points to ensure the full context is understood.
The installation was clearly scheduled over two days, as confirmed in our email dated 11/06/2025, with a reminder also sent the day before. The engineer arrived with 6 cameras on the first day due to the planned two-day schedule, and the remaining work was completed as arranged.
It’s also important to note that you arrived late on the first day, which affected our ability to complete more of the work — we have time-stamped messages confirming this.
Regarding the CCTV warning sticker, the engineer forgot to leave it behind, and once this was realised, we posted one out to you the very next day.
As for the invoice, it was sent upon job completion, and we apologise for any delay in communication during that period.
We welcome honest feedback, but we feel your review omits important context. We’ve attempted to address your concerns constructively and remain open to a direct conversation if you'd like to resolve things properly.

When Dan came to install three security cameras he explained first exactly what he was going to do and why the positions were selected. He then fitted the cameras and installed the software. He did an excellent job even though he ran over time due to an issue with the building. The job was completed to our entire satisfaction. Good products and good company

phone maintainance call
my call over an issue (fault ) on my alarm was very quickly and simply resolved by the engineer i had booked a phone consultation with the engineer Dylan was more than helpful and friendly and he spent time explaining why and what had happened in simple plain terms that were easy to fully understand he also resolved an issue with the door contacts that was an issue as from the day the system was fitted this was all in one call im more than happy with the service today from Dylan and the over all service from prime security ltd has always been an A1 service thank you
