Warranty had ran out on CCTV. Was give. Very good customer service by Dan who explained the packages to me. No pressure to buy. Very helpful. Sent an email straight away for warranty renewal. Service very efficient.

ANNOYING FEATURE.
Giving three stars because we now have a five minute count down on our cctv which alot of other people have complained about.Really annoying when you are watching some thing on your cctv and it starts counting down and then you have to keep doing this to observe some thing on your cctv.Please remove this.It has stopped me from using this company to install more cctv on our house.!!!

As a neighbour of a Prime Security…
As a neighbour of a Prime Security client, I can honestly say that I question their integrity when it comes to correctly researching boundaries and property ownership. During a recent installation, the alarm was raised with the Prime Engineer highlighting a camera that was incorrectly pointing directly into an adjoining property which had no relevance to the neighbour who had commissioned the work. Unfortunately, neither the engineer at the time of installation or indeed the office during the followup email exchanges have shown any interest in the issue they have created. We are now looking towards a legal route as Prime have been negligent in their duty of care by not seeking to clarify with both parties where boundaries lie. Instead chosing to go with the paying customer's illegal request. Would definitely NOT recommend!

Despite your reply I'm afraid I do not concur with your version of events. Happy to include a photo evidence on this thread for the audience to see for themselves if you wish! During installation the engineer was informed the angle was intrusive and indeed unecessarily pointing 100% towards an adjoining property's garden and private area. He chose to ignore this as did the office when we called to explain our grave concerns. Furthermore, whilst privacy masking is possible, the engineer also explained, there is absolutely no guarantee this would not be removed by your client! So, pretty ineffective when all that we requested was for the camera to be pointed towards your client's property and not ours! Added to which "privacy masking" strengthens the argument that the angle of that camera IS INTRUSIVE! What Prime Security have installed constitutes a TOTAL BREACH of our privacy and boundaries which could have been averted simply by a slight amendment to the camera angle! Would absolutely NOT recommend!

We understand your concern about the camera pointing in the direction of an adjoining property, and we are committed to complying with privacy guidelines.
However, we cannot provide a viewing image of our customer, as that would constitute a breach of their privacy. We have always taken the appropriate steps to ensure that our installations respect both the privacy of our clients and the boundaries of neighboring properties.
