The binoculars arrived and I was very disappointed with the product. They were heavier than I expected, difficult to adjust and the vision was not a clear as I would have liked. I have sent them back for a refund.

Delivery was quick and on time.The product is excellent,and easy to use.I would recommend them.

I bought a pair of these binoculars for myself last year. They are so good, light and compact; easy to use and set up that I bought another pair for my wife. The service and speed of despatch from Procular was excellent.

I have used the binoculars only two or three times and have enjoyed using them.
The only drawback for me is the weight and find it difficult to hold them steady to stop the shaking while viewing objects.
I thought about returning them and purchase a more suitable set but still retaining the quality of the set I already have but decided to keep them and try to adjust my posture or buy a good quality tripod.
The carry case is not very good, far to flimsy. Would have preferred a much sturdier leather case to protect them when traveling.

Unfortunately disappointed with them and am returning them. I was hoping they would be much better than my very old pair of Greens binochulars which are 8×40 but quite honestly, there is no comparison. The Avalon 10x42 are equally if not a little heavier than my old ones and there is not as much control on the focus. The eye pieces are uncomfortable and I do not like the fact that they are 'fixed in the middle. I also found them not to be as clear on distance as expected so overall I'm just disappointed and will have to stick with my old ones until I can find something better.

The binoculars were just as I had hoped they would be - easy to use and lightweight. Now my husband wants a pair..

I recently bought a pair of Avalon 10x42 PRO HD PLATIINUM binoculars and have found them to be a worthwhile purchase. They have notched up my satisfaction in bird watching so much that I am now in the dog house as I'm out so much. Not too heavy and a great magnification. It's great to see migrant birds in close detail.

WE THOUGHT IT WAS A SCAM !

My partner bought a pair of Avalon Binoculars ( £ 195 ) and we received an email stating they would ( without permission) take a FURTHER small “ test” amount in order to “ verify the order” ! ( is that legal ?)

Alarmed as it sounded like we had been scammed, we immediately cancelled the order online ( no telephone number supplied ). This arrived despite the cancellation.

They are heavy, uncomfortable to hold and no better than our other binoculars which cost less than half the price.

In order to obtain a refund we had to pay for postage ( over £ 11) to send them to a third party address in Nottingham and we never did receive a refund for the additional sum taken without permission, albeit a small amount.

In all, a very unpleasant experience !

Great binoculars at a reasonable price. My wife had more expensive ones previously but she finds these much better.

Binoculars are excellent quality but the basic item (without straps or case) weighs more than the 550 gms noted on their website. The case needs straps because when you remove the bins there is nothing to retain it except a belt strap - not practical with outdoor wear.

Bought a pair of Avalon 8 x 21 pocket binoculars from Procular. Lovely binoculars, fast delivery, and delighted with the service.

I was impressed with the delivery time Procular of Nottingham made with my order for the Fujinon 7X50 WP-XL Mariner Binoculars. I ordered on the 9th of April, 21 and received the binoculars on the 10th of April 21. Having used Marine binoculars in my service days, I wanted a similar binocular specification to use in the countryside without the worry of having them soaked by a heavy rain shower. The Fujinon 7X50 Mariner Binocular meets this requirement. The individual eyepiece focusing gives a good range to adjust them to each eye, for people who may have a lot of difference in the focus of their eyes. Once adjusted, most objects are clear and in focus. The binoculars are very light weight, and fit well into your hands. There is a one piece cover for the ocular lenses, that you attach to the neckstrap, to prevent loss, the caps for the 50 mm lenses are attached by short straps to the front center pivot, so are unlikely to get lost either. The only thing I would have liked, being as I am most unlikely to be using my binoculars over water, is an alternative ordinary neckstrap, to replace the bright yellow floating neckstap supplied. This strap makes birds and animals very easy to spot you, when you are trying to observe them. The binoculars themselves, are of excellent quality, and a pleasure to use.

I was bought a pair of the Mini 8x32 binoculars as a birthday gift. I can't fault their performance, much better than previous binoculars owned.
After almost a year of use a small issue developed with the screw-up eyepiece.
I contacted Avalon via their website, to explain the issue. Within a few hours they had responded to say that the Binoculars would be replaced FOC and I would not have to return the faulty pair. The replacement arrived in just two days.
A real pleasure to receive such good after sales back-up to a superb product.
I would certainly buy again from this company.
