Prof Move Avis 54

Having experienced relocation hell from other moving companies, i was prepared for the worst again. But it never happened. The guys at Prof Move were true professionals. I just wish I'd known about them sooner. My family will use this company again. They were clean, on time, did as they promised, and fairly charged me. In my experience you don't get this treatment from every moving company!

I was very happy with the service and affection I received from Prof Move. They were very helpful yet on toe for everything which was needed in that time. I would recommend them to anyone who needed a moving company as they make it stress less and an easy task.

This is the third time we've used Prof Move and we could not be more complimentary of the service we have received time and time again. They went above and beyond to make sure that our move went incredibly smoothly. Best company for sure.

I'm very impressed with how these two gentlemen came and went right to work moving my stuff to another address and they were fast and very careful with my stuff!!! Thank you very much and it was very affordable prices they gave out to me and my wife. I recommend Prof Move to my family and friends for sure.

Feeling screwed over by Prof Move moving company...They done an estimate based on 4000cf. Originally we thought there would be around 250 boxes. When they got here, I had already packed 200 total and there was about 100 from the attic. Job foreman stated that he was told 250 boxes and estimated that all of the things in the house would probably take 7000 cf as there would end up being over 350 boxes when they got through. They brought a 53 foot truck and a 26ft truck. The foreman said a 53 ft truck is 4200cf and a 26 foot truck was about 2300cf for a total of 6500cf. Wrong... I found out that a 53 ft truck provides 3816cf up to 4130 cf and a 26ft truck provides 1601cf for a total of 5417cf to 5731cf. So dont know how he even came up with the estimate of 7000cf without realizing he needed a 3rd truck to provide the 7000cf. of space. The original estimate was 18000.00 for 4000cf and suddenly went to 33,000 for 7000cf which the two trucks combined wouldnt even hold. In fact, 5417cf or 5731cf was the space used so it should have cost around 23,000.00 to 27,000 at 4.75 a cf. They said we had over 700 boxes at the finish which I have no idea if that is correct. However, number of boxes should not matter. It was supposed to be based on space used. Then on top of everything else they didnt even get everything out of the house and we were told we could either have them bring in another truck at an additional 5700.00 or leave the remaining items. Another truck along with the other 2 would have equaled 7000cf so they should have called for an additional truck anyway without an extra charge. They said both trucks were full but would not let us get close enough to the truck to see. They would head us off before we could get to the truck. They then seemed to get upset because we couldn't afford an additional 5700.00 which would have made it 38,700.00 for the move. The whole thing has me very upset. Hopefully we can get it straightened out tomorrow but I dont know....if we cant I guess we will have to lawyer up...Update: spoke with them and explained the whole situation. They said they would send another truck at a discounted rate. I told them they needed to send another truck with no additional charge. They told me I could upon delivery pay the amount based on what I thought the cf to be. When I again mentioned the other truck they never got back to me. Then today the driver called asking when we would arrive in Tn from Ca. I told him delivery was scheduled for Tuesday the 13th. He said he thought we would be there Fri. or Sat. I told him that I spoke with Barry in quality assurance and he said Tuesday was no problem. He said he would call the office. I received a phone call from Ca. Relocation services and they were upset about the dates. I told them that they knew we would not be taking delivery until Tuesday. Then I told them about the dispute regarding cf and payment. They said when the truck arrived that they would not even open the doors until payment was received. I asked how could we pay them without knowing the cf. She said she would check this and that and get back with me. This has been a nightmare. Had to go rent a 6×12 cargo truck to get the remaining boxes and the zero turn mower at a cost of 965.00. The remainder of the furnishings will have to stay to be sold by an estate professional. I would not recommend this company at all. This has been very stressful and unfortunately not resolved in a favorable manner.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Prof Move. We were hesitant to hire movers as we've heard and actually had bad experiences in the past. But I can say with certainty that I will be asking for Prof Move again. They were exceptional, quick and were done almost an hour earlier than I thought. Although they were quick, they were also careful. They took amazing care wrapping all of our furniture and packing the truck gently and efficiently. Thanks for your help.

So very impressed with Prof Move! From the booking, where they answered all my questions very quickly, to the actual move was amazing. They called when they were 30 minutes away, showed up before the scheduled start time, moved quickly the entire time and didn't complain about the inordinate amount of stuff we had. We paid cash which I thought they appreciated, the quote was a little over but I blame that solely on myself for just having so much stuff. So worth the money.

I had a great experience using Prof Move. This was my first-time hiring movers and they were great with communication prior to and on the day of the move, thanks to Abby and the foreman Trevor. Everything was handled with care and Trevor went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests, of wrapping even the smallest of things. I don't want to move again anytime soon, but I will call them when the time comes! Highly recommend.

My work mate introduced them to me, but i never expected that they will be the best. They answered on time and they make the packing without making any mistake. We moved on time and got to my new location on the expected and stated time.
They are highly recommended.

This company is awesome! They have moved me four times so you know how much I absolutely adore them. They have done close moves for me and also across the country. They are professional, on time, give you an accurate quote and offer very competitive pricing. They handled my furniture with tender loving care, like it was their own. They took apart my large furniture and wrapped it well. Upon arrival they put all your furniture back together. I have recommended them to friends who all say the same.Awesome.

Carl and Lewis were very professional. Our move was in the same complex, from upstairs to downstairs unit. They were quick and we were done in the three hours that was quoted by Lindsay the moving consultant. Definitely using these movers if we need to move again.
