Disappointing packaging
I bought from this website because I expected premium quality seeds and professional packaging based on how everything looks on their website.
First of all, the shipping took much longer than expected. There were 5–6 days with barely any updates, especially during the first 3 days.
Then when the package finally arrived, it was just a plain bag with no branding, labels, or proper packaging . completely different from what is shown on the website.
I haven’t actually used the seeds yet, so I can’t comment on the quality itself, but the overall experience was disappointing. Don’t let the fancy website fool you.

Ordering was extremely easy..... was informed about delivery..... but please stop using Parcel Force/Royal Mail for your deliveries.... Ordered a couple of weeks ago and still waiting for my delivery. Pulling your teeth out would be easier than getting hold of people at Parcel force.
Don’t touch this company with a barge pole.
I ordered grass seed on 1st May. As I hadn’t heard anything on 7th May I contacted them. Received an automated message from a bot. On 8th May I did receive a message apologising & saying that the item had been despatched. I was given a tracking number.
According to ParcelForce, they received the item on 7th May & it was “on its way”. It’s now 17:00 hrs on 11th May & no sign of it. Neither has ParcelForce given me a suggested delivery date.
I have now requested a refund. If I do not receive the seed by tomorrow, or a confirmation of a refund, I will contact Mastercard & dispute the transaction.
Package has just been delivered. By ParcelForce Express 24. That’s the biggest joke ever.

Very slow dispatch of product. Poor customer support. High prices
Very slow dispatch of product - 5 working days before product left their warehouse. No tracking information from Progreen. Delivery by Royal Mail was fine but Progreen tried to blame Royal Mail. Instead it was their sub-standard dispatch procedures. Customer support by email uses a moronic AI bot. I called customer support but received a very indifferent couldn't care less response. I have now found that the product I bought is widely available at much lower prices

Appalling inefficiency.
Ordered and paid for an applicator on the 21st April, the wrong item was sent and on complaining the salesman , with no apology said that he would arrange collection of the incorrect one and dispatch the correct one the same day . After 3 enquiries with no response (AI takes over ) I was told no problem ( I explained that it was a big problem to me as I was loosing work ) he would dispatch one that day , this was 6th May ! I asked to speak to a manager to register my dissatisfaction to be told that she was in a meeting but would call me back , surprise, surprise no call ! There appears to be no commitment to customer service and a lackadaisical attitude amongst the staff which would explain this appalling inefficiency.

Ordered and paid for 'express…
Ordered and paid for 'express delivery', which states delivery 1-2 days from the point you order it. Have now been told it is 1-2 days from the date they ship it. Hypothetically they could wait an undisclosed amount of time before shipping and still be within their '1-2 day delivery'. Have tried to get in touch with an actual person and it is impossible - only AI responses.

ordered goods not delivered, no update, they don't read or reply properly to emails
I ordered some weedkiller two weeks ago - needed for this weekend. Nothing - I chased last week and got an irritating AI response, chased again, nothing, so I had to drive 2 hours to get the product as I needed to spray today. I emailed telling them to cancel and refund - they then finally responded saying they had been very busy and now they have sent it - no delivery date. Too late! They don;t let you know when things are delayed and then they don't read emails - last time I use them!
Their response is littlew short of a joke - it doesn't take much to update customers is things are running late - and they failed properly to read my email asking them to cancel the order - useless!

Progreen: Avoid at all costs
Avoid these people! I ordered lawn seed, weed killer/moss killer and seaweed fertiliser at a cost of nearly £150 and after waiting much longer than their advertised delivery times had to chase them up three times over a week. The products eventually arrived via Parcelforce with an irate delivery driver saying that most of the contents of two of the sacks were all over the back of his van which was now stinking of seaweed. I sent photos and complained to Progreen who promised to replace them and then sent a further invoice for goods damaged during the first attempt.
Their customer service is diabolical and unless you have hours to waste on the telephone trying to remedy their wrongs I suggest you access an alternative provider. It’s just not worth the expense and hassle.

Poor service
Website says 3-5 working days. After 8 days chased my order. Got a generic AI reply. 2 more days passed and no info so I've chased again.
If I dont get dispatch confirmation within 24h then I'm disputing with my card.
I dont recommend Pro Green / A1 and will purchase elsewhere next time.

I was surprised by the lack of…
I was surprised by the lack of information on my delivery and had to chase for a delivery update. There was no order or delivery confirmation or advanced notice and I actually thought that Progreen had not processed my order. Then I received an invoice and then I had to call in to be told the delivery would be Saturday or Monday. Neither of these materialised and the goods then arrived on the Tuesday.

Excellent service
When I phoned up the man on the other end was very knowledgable he helped me choose the right product. Didn’t try to over sell, he offered just what was needed. I will definitely use Progreen again 10/10
Really poor client and delivery…
Really poor client and delivery management.
Emailed for an order update after more than a week since the order, no response. Phoned and asked to cancel, confirmed but later got a delivery update. Phoned again and told refund was in progress and delivery will be should be refused. Refused the delivery and a week later still no update on the refund.
Overall, would avoid using them.

Ordered 10kg grass seed, no indication of when the item would arrive.
Emailed them twice. No response.
Called them: gentleman said "the seeds will be at your door tomorrow".
A few days have passed and no items.

ProGreen-useless!!! Use at your own risk!!!
ProGreen are a shambles from start to finish. Order placed money taken, no further information. Upon chasing was advised it was sent that day to arrive the following day. Upon chasing again 2 days later advised they had tried to delivery conveniently on the day of my call but I had been in my garden all day and no-one attempted to delivery. They then advise a refund will be processed when my goods get back to them but they have no idea when that will be. All emails are ignored and phone calls are given lip service. My recommendation- get your goods anywhere but here!!!

Some great products, but consistently let down by rubbish delivery times (this has been my experience over the last 3 years) - Progreen need to sort this out.

I am very disappointed with Progreen…
I am very disappointed with Progreen service this year. I have used them for the last 4 years. This year I have had to chase them on my soil samples. Last week when I eventually got the results of my soil samples I ordered my fertiliser and was told someone would ring me and confirm when my fertiliser would be delivered! I have heard nothing and when I chased them on Wednesday I just got excuses and no idea when I’ll be getting my fertiliser. Their Communication has been terrible. Will not be using them again and will never recommend them to anyone else. Alan Daly
