If I could give a MINUS star rating I would. We received a blatantly defective engine from this company. We filed the warranty submission forms. Even our mechanic had to submit a form for this claim. That was 12/10/23. We have not received a refund. We have called and emailed and every time I get told my refund status is "with accounting". Apparently they plan to wear us down so we don't insist on a refund.

the engine that i got was not a 2008 like they said it was it is a 2007 and when i got it all the pullys were missing the only ones on it was the water pump and crankshaft and the flywheel was not on it the exhaust manifolds were missing

FALSE ADVERTISING. Total scam company.
Offered a replacement engine with less than 100k miles, informed that it was "inspected and tested". They said the engine would ship out in 7-14 days, but then like most people report, delays delays delays. The advertising on the motor I specifically bought from them; lies. Flat out lies.

I ran the VIN# on the engine I finally received from "Quality Used Engines", turns out it was from a trade in vehicle that was bought from an Acura dealership in New Jersey, vehicle was parted, the engine was sourced from Ebay and had over 190k miles on it!

Total rip off. They never had the engine in stock, obviously knowing they did not have an engine with less than 90k miles on it, they charged me close to $1600 including an added delivery fee for residential delivery, but the engine they shipped to me was from an Ebay listing that offered free residential shipping for a total of less than 800 bucks to my door, yes, the same engine listed on ebay from a different seller, verified from the VIN #! - So "Quality used Engines" lied about the engine and skimmed $800 from an engine they never had in stock as advertised in the first place, which makes me wonder; how could they "inspect" an engine they never had? Let's say they DID have it and it was under a different company name (because they have many as reported; I.E: Southwest Engines / Southwest Transmissions / SW Engines / SW transmissions, Remann's Engines, Engine and Transmission World, Engine Shopper LLC, among others!), ...still is NOT as advertised, not even close!

QUALITY USED ENGINES . COM are total rip offs.
False advertisement! Amazing they haven't been shut down and taught a lesson by now.

$$ high time they pay a hefty price and learn a valuable lesson for scamming people $$

This is extremely bad company. They lied, steal, robbed you. They have no morality. Just wonder why the government has not closed their business.......

I am out of words to explain the frustration of working with this company.
Today alone I have been attempting to get in contact with the warranty department for over 5 hours (longest hold time 1 hours, 23 minutes!) Not only have I been on hold for the majority of that time but when I do reach someone, they can't help and those who can are busy. Never have I gotten a call back or an email from anyone.
First engine has timing chain issues right from the beginning. Anyone with a little bit of experience could have diagnosed this issue before shipping or at least know that the clucking noise when turning over isn't normal.
Sad thing is I ordered several engines with them, and I just now know how difficult it is going to be to do anything warranty related.

Hello everyone, the easiest fastest way to resolve you issue is to file a reverse charge with your bank. Don't wait too long as there are time limits!

I ordered a 2013 Subaru 2.5 engine May 15, 2023. Got it on June 6th, and was installed on June 9th. The problem is getting them to give an address to return the core, and get my $350 for the core. 15 calls, and an email, over two weeks and still no response.
I guess I was lucky to have gotten an engine that works at all!. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy!

Today, I read the shipping tag on the engine I received for the first time. And there I saw the Vin# of the vehicle the engine came out of.
The rep told me the engine I was getting had 55,000 miles on it. Against my better judgement, I ran the Vin thru Car Fax. Wow, was I pissed!! According to Car Fax, and the Vin on the tag, this engine has over 210,000 miles on it!!
Oh, and I also just found out my shipping costs to return the core thru FedEx. $400.36. . .for a $350 return on the core? Nah, I'll pass on that!

Unprofessional, won't return calls. Customer service person, Prexy, juggles phones and says "looking in to" or "haven't had time to reply" and then does not respond. Anyone on this site have a suggestion or legal remedy. They sent a engine that was broken, leaking oil. Out the $1100 for engine and $1800 for repair shop to put in this broken engine. Also, name changed from Quality Engines to SW Engines in the 3 months in dealing with them.

I ordered an engine for my Chrysler Sebring they kept saying it's on the way it's on the way 2 months later no engine wanted to cancel some dumb as shipping rep calls me ask me to give him 3 days to send it to me I said ok and yes never got it ask for a refund and it's a hassle will I get it soon probably not usually more smarter than this

Most unprofessional company I've ever interacted with. Joel and Lisa in the parts department constantly putting me on hold to never pick up again Joel was very aggressive with his tone speaking to me hung up on me more than once. Literally one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with any company. Expressing to them that I couldn't afford a $1400 engine for a 2000 eclipse when that's Literally the price of a whole new eclipse. Offered them $900 and came back with an EXCLUSIVE offer of $50 dollars off. Than continued to hang up and be disrespectful wouldn't transfer me to anybody above him when I was asking for a supervisor and even had the audacity to say we can do this all day. Would not recommend this company at all! Rip off on the price and even worse customer service. I'll push my car before supporting a company like this.

Sent corroded engine. Won't pick up the engine. All transfers are disconnected and you will hear the following; we'll send an email, we're just waiting on a bill of waiting, and fictitious supervisors. The mechanic called QUE within an hour of the delivery and said engine was so corroded the screws would break preventing installation. flywheel rusted, oil line rusted and corroded. I would like to from other customers if their attempts were ever resolved or did they have to go legal. I'll need to make that decision in the next week even if I break even. Thanks.

These people are scammers ordered a engine gave info they asked for ended up being wrong engine so they picked up the engine and refunded us $600.. out of the $1500.00 never use this company they lie and steal from you.

If there was a 1/2 star or zero star it would be more appropriate...these guys are as dishonest as they come. DO NOT BUY HERE ! They sent a known defective engine with $2,000 in defective parts... there IS NO QUALITY HERE ! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND IT. They hide behind the phone and do not support what they sell. The engine is a piece of unknown iron crappe !

What I thought was a good deal . After 3 weeks of waiting still no engine. Each time I called I got the run around > They told me the engine was shipped to the wrong location and it was returning to the warehouse. So come to find out it was the wrong engine and I ask for a refund after trying to get the right one > I was referred to the warranty dept. Told the lady I wanted to cancel my order and get my $1970 .refund . she says fine I will send you an email for your to sign to cancel this order >> Never got an email > I called back and was hung up on. Then I called again and got transferred to the manager. I got his voicemail So I left all the info asking for a refund and if he could call me or email me to straighten out the matter. Feb 8 2023 Days pass and nothing >>I sent them a copy of my invoice telling them to cancel my order and refund me as a Legal reply on their legal contract. No Reply They intend to steal my money and not give a refund for goods not shipped or received. They are Scammers stay away . I am Filling complaints with BBB in my state and in Wisconsin . I am Not done with these ripoffs .They need to be shut down

This company steals.. will not honor your warranty. Do not do business. Allen the supervisor will do everything within his powers to not honor your warranty.. their good reviews are bogus.. my engine died within. 15k miles. I'm just outta luck with this company

This company false advertises engines & Transmissions that a junk. They use multiple company names such as, Engine & Transmission World (& Team), Jasper, SW Engines, Quality Used Engines & Transmission(& also Team), Gear Head Engines, Engine Shopper LLC, and many more!

They send bad engine (RUSTED, hydrocarbon issues), don't refund for core, IF you get a 2nd engine They don't pay for the labor to have their bad engine replaced! They claimed I never did the warranty although I called them several times a day (hang ups, transfer to, no one answers) for 6 months now. I WONT STOP!

It's all a SCAM & THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!!!!

I ordered an engine over a month ago and they will not reply or give me any shipping or tracking information a bunch of crooks!

BEWARE- Less than honest company! Ordered a motor 12/02/22, it finally arrived 01/08/23. I had called several times and got nothing but double talk, smoke and mirrors on when it would be shipped. I called to get the core picked up and they said keep it and we will keep your core charge of 300.00. They are nothing but scammers.
