Well I spent 2800 for a motor for a 2010 dodge 1500. They sent me a motor that was nocking. And they said they would send me another one and they played me for 2mo and never sent me one. Then they said they would pay to fixs it . So now my truck is at the mechanic and they never sent me the money. They said thay did but my bank never received it. And they keep saying it's my bank problem. So I called my bank and they said no we never got the money and my bank said I probably got scamed!!! So I call them every day a guy name John he just keeps putting me on hold . These ppl are no good .please don't bye from them!! Up date I called to ask if they could get me another motor and they said yes and it would cost 3200. Then I told them then why are your customer service telling me they can't find me one ..its such a scam!!!

Do not buy a used engine from this company I purchase an engine that was supposed to have 55k miles on it the mechanic received the engine in the engine was knocking he also stated that the engine had way more than 55,000 miles on it I've been waiting for them to send another engine since April 16th it today's date is now July 9th they are unprofessional and disrespectful I will be rewriting a view for every day that my car is in the shop

I ordered a 4.7 Toyota engine, I didn't ship on time, they kept putting me to the shipping manager mail box which was always full, they kept telling me I'd get a follow up call, that never happened! It didn't come anywhere near the promised delivery date so I called my bank and got a refund, now they are trying to charge me over 800$! For restocking and delivery which I've never even seen the damn engine! Don't waste your time!

SCAM/ Rip off…took over a month to get the motor….was supposed to be a low milage 77k motor…. Looks like it was drug through a salt water bog… oil leaking everywhere, valve cover cracked, multiple sensors broken, looks like it has 377k miles…total rip off DO NOT BUY from them.

Once I tried to get in contact with the claims and warranty dept. they said it takes about 2-4 business days for response it’s been well over 12 days now. Total losses for me were well over $4000 and that’s not included lost wages from work. #371869

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! I ordered a motor, got it, looked like it had been submerged in salt water, was tearing it apart to replace seals and found the motor was full of gunk and big metal shavings. Called the company and they told me to just flush the engine. I AM NOT PUTTING THAT CRAP ASS ENGINE IN MY VEHICLE! The company completely refused to return or exchange my motor. There is NOTHING quality about this crappy company!

THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ENGINE AND I HAD TO WAIT UP TO 2 MONTHS TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT ONE THAT I ORDERED. I couldn’t stress it enough to them that if they don’t send it soon like how they did with the first one then ima have to pay an additional 100 dollars a day for their mistake. There is a guy who goes by Sancho or “tosh” who’s number ends in 2376 is the worst person who step on this planet. Hangs up on me every time I called him which I have records of and proof to back it up, not only that but says he can’t help me and then just transfers me to a number to which The phone just goes busy and I have to hang up. Then we have Eric from shipping who makes false promises who TOLD ME that he will check in with this as well which I have proof for as well, did not in fact check in and told me he only handles shipping.

Calls himself Kevin. I am sure that is a lie too. I see back in 2015 they had good reviews. Must have used a now defunct company to steal your money.

I ordered a engine for my pontiac. I spent over $1,000 on it. When it got here, the throttle body, EGR valve, Belt tensioner, motor mount bracket, and all of the sensors on the left side were broken. After it was installed, after paying to replace all of the broken parts, the engine started "ticking." I ordered new lifters and had them installed. Now it's ticking louder along with some other funky noise. It's also overheating for no apparent reason. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have called and e-mailed this place, no response. BEWARE.

They FINALLY shipped me a replacement the motor they shipped was for a complete different car ..the condition was as such the motor was froze up it had mud caked on the manifold and flywheel the pulleys where rusted so bad they would not turn broken glass all over the motor the wiring harness was burned off with torches a BIRD NEST in the intake oil leaking out of every place possible and then .. customer service is not in there vocabulary..how can this place keep their doors open ...when ask for a refund the guy laughed out loud and all he would say is there will be a investigate into it..this place should be closed down ...didn't know there reputation until after I ordered was reading review from their website ( my bad)$1700 I'll never see again STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!!

Invoice 371077. I recently ordered an engine on April 14, but had to cancel order on April 15 less than 20 hours since order. I received their cancellation paper work with no mention of any charges. When I received my refund they kept $475 from it. I called and they said there was a restocking charge. A restocking charge? I said to them that they never took the engine from the warehouse in the time span. They switch me to the supervisor that I left a message, but haven't heard from him in two weeks. I would not recommend them to do business with.

I called and called and was told to wait at one point was even told to cancel mmy order should have been a sign of things to come . finally engine is in transit still no communication form tem its always me calling. engine just shows up and no phone call form anyone. My co worker recives it and they put in storage area. My mechanic comes to get it and install engine. Basically wasted 2 of his days and 900 of my money . I think we need to band to together as they are refusing to refund me . I deputed at bank and foun hll of people they have done this too. DO NOT BUY AN ENGINE FROM "QUALITY USED ENGINES" they are junk! I have 2 issues with this company.
First, they say it has 71k miles but it looks more like 150k with no paper work on mileage. Second, they say that clean inspect, clean and run the engines which is a complete lie. My engine 4.7l Dodge Durango SLT has about 142k (broken rod bearing) under valve covers looks brand new and ni rust spots on the outside of the engine. Engine that they sent me under the valve covers completely caked in sludge and almost rusted out on the bottom and just looks like junk. Mechanic said he wouldn't install because it wouldn't last long. So my review is that they don't sell you a cleaned and inspected engine and this company is garbage just like the engines they sell to innocent people. DO NOT BUY FROM "QUALITY USED ENGINES".

(I found out too late they were on the news for selling over 400 customers bad engines, and their KS address is an empty building. Google "BBB receives hundreds of complaints about company selling car engines online" or Google Quality Used Engines and click on More, then videos and you'll see this news report.
Invoice # 368735. Ordered 3/17/21 Received engine April 5th. My mechanic was getting ready to install it and said upon getting ready to install it on the 19th, he noticed the engine sent was NOT a match to my car. " The 300-85001A 2001 SLK Engine 170 Type SLK230 is similar but slightly different and it will NOT line up to my engine parts. The engine sent has a air pump and mine doesn't. So ... my mechanic called to say he had very bad news that it can't be installed into my car. The engine can not be aligned with my other parts, and is not the same as my original engine, so they stopped and called me. They also said the engine delivered was full of water, and was in such bad condition that it can't be used at all. He said the engine I wanted to replace was in better condition than the one Quality Used Engines delivered!
I was very careful to tell the telephone rep, dept sales person, and email the description of the engine, my vin # and said the engine I need must be the L4-2.3L 2295 cc Gas MFI Supercharged type 111-983 - 4 valve DOHC. (Their sales person said the The 300-85001A 2001 SLK Engine 170 Type SLK230 is an interchangable or compatible part and shipped me that.)
Now I'm out $1,345 & I'm just devastated by this bad news. I've been without a car for over a month and 1/2 since March 17th, 2021 ... and I need to get this work done to repair my car ASAP. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the right engine.
I was dumbfounded the company's warranty fine print said the engine "must be installed 10 (business) days after delivery." Most places are so busy that can't be done. Other engines for sale on line that offer warranties are not contingent upon a 10 day installation, they just come with a warranty.
The engine can not be aligned with my other parts, because it is not the same as my original engine, and is in such poor condition, they ceased to install it. This upset me because QUE ads state that they test and steam clean & guarantee all engines. I got a call from a person claiming to be the representative/shipper, named Nick Dean, who said the reason I received a bad engine might be because they had a kid pulling engines and there were 2 engines side by side and maybe the kid pulled the wrong engine. 1st, this engine weighs 325 lbs so how is a kid going to pull that? That sounds very unprofessional that a reputable company doesn't have experts pulling the motors and checking them for quality before shipping.
How could I even trust that if they sent me a replacement engine that that one wouldn't also be uninspected and in terrible condition? Now I'm worried.
I had just sent the warranty in assuming the car had been done, but my mechanics couldn't proceed. I was in limbo wondering what could I we do to correct this? This is not a warranty problem, it is an incorrect part and water damaged part problem and bad engine problem. Nobody at customer service ever answers, and when I do get people on the phone, no one can direct me to customer service or an owner.
My auto repair is one of the busiest places in town, I've know them for over 25 yrs, but even they are starting to get frustrated with me for all the delays. I need a refund so I can buy another engine from someone else who really will inspect and guarantee their product before selling it to me.
I had to post on QUE FB page and then they removed my post, with a message:
"We did ask that our service supervisor call you shortly."
I guess that was the supposed fake representative/shipper named Nick Dean with the story about a kid pulling the wrong engine ...

I had no other choice than to ask my bank to dispute the transaction charges. 60 days went by and Quality Used Engines refused to refund my money. They lied and said I never contacted them, but I took photo evidence of every email or message I sent to them and of someone's response. I'm still working on legal avenues to file against them. This is such a corrupt company, they' steal from people during Covid when we are all struggling. Any reputable company would have simply picked up the engine and replaced it and apologized or refunded the money. Do get scammed by these criminals.

Quality Used Engines DOES NOT HAVE Quality Customer Service! I ordered an engine on April 2, 2021. I tried to call Customer Service and Shipping Department on April 9, 2021 to cancel my Invoice #370051. When I selected the option to speak with either departments, I received a Busy Dial Tone. So I submitted an Online Contact Form and wrote in the comments section to Cancel My Order. Guess they either pulled the plug on their operation or somehow placed "A Block" on my number from always receiving a busy dial tone now.
I never heard back from QUE VIA (First Contact Us) submittal, so I tried to call again on April 14, 2021 and still received a Busy Dial Tone. I sent another "Online Contact Us Form" stating to Cancel My Order again since not receiving a response back from the first contact form.
Friday morning, April 16th I received an email from QUE stating my order was shipped thru R&L Carriers. I checked the Tracking and showed it was shipped April 15th. I called R&L Carriers and told the rep I Cancelled My Order on April 9th VIA "Contact Us Website" to QUE and it needs to be sent back to them and I DO NOT Want it! Laura (the rep @ R&L) stated she would contact QUE Shipping Department to let them know I do not want the shipment and needs to be returned to QUE. Laura from R&L took my number and said she would call me if there was any issues.
So far the status is: 04/17/2021 04:21:54 AM Departed COLUMBIANA, OH in route to destination terminal. Now to which destination, I'm not sure of. Hopefully back to the shipper.
I've already filed a dispute with my bank and hope to get it resolved soon and my money back. From reading all the QUE Google Reviews, TrustPilot and Yelp show 1.2 to 1.5 Star reviews and an F- from the BBB. I should of done this research before I ordered from them.
If it is still being sent this way, all I can do is refuse/reject the delivery and say to the driver is to RTS. I'll see how it goes...

Bad 1rst time experience ordering went well but when it came time to track my order I was given a runaround about dealing with shipping not the guy I bought the engine from conversation got heated due to seller egging on a fight over the phone . will never deal with this company again . Still no engine and the refund will probably most likely never come. Update: company issued a refund for 2152 I still need the other $718 back so I can get my customer an engine somewhere else.
