Even cheaper than last year!
I thought that I had already reviewed my experience with you, but I have received a reminder! The whole process was quick and easy; I had had a renewal notice from my then current insurers with a premium nearly double what I had paid for the previous year, even though nothing had changed except that I had got a year older!! I checked on a comparison site, and your company was the best quotation. The premium was even less than I had paid the year before! I imagine that this is because my previous insurer regards me as more of a risk, now that I have reached 80, whereas your company see me as a reduced risk (which is what I am given much reduced mileage these days.).

RAC customer service not good
A really good price, but there was a mixed up on the date of an accident I had - a lot of unnecessary toing and froing - even though I obtained evidence of the correct date in order to remove the wrong date - it was refused. I was put onto the broker who wanted £50 to remove the wrong date. So I now have two accidents shown on my policy I am not happy.

I have been with RAC for a few yrs
I have been with RAC for a few yrs. This yr the cost went up, alot more than usual. I got in touch with them, and they reduced the price. I have also got free breakdown cover, I had trouble claiming it,but again they helped me. So I am sorted for another year.

Really disappointed with this firm
Really disappointed with this firm. I've had my insurance with them for a while now.
I had a automatic renewal with them. Unfortunately due to no fault of mine they tried to take the payment from my account and the card they had on my account had expired so no payment was made.
They contacted me and l updated my card inorder to pay.
I was then told that a extra £20 had to be paid to cover the cost of the failed attempt to get the payment from my bank.
They wouldn't budge at all on this so l cancelled my insurance and went with another, cheaper provider.
Real shame as l like to stay with the same firm. Won't be going with RAC insurance again

Competitive price
Renewal cost of insurance was comparable with other companies, especially those with wild saving claims which would be more than I actually pay for my policy!
