Railcam is an excellent resource for UK rail enthusiasts, in fact the ‘cam’ element, with good quality widespread cameras, is only a small part of the site. They provide information about live train running, the ability to view live signal box diagrams and tracking of individual locomotive and units (subject to data entry by other users) highly recommended and great value for money.

Great for anyone interested in UK rail (mainline and heritage). Lots of views and useful info. Dip your toe in with the free cameras and if you like then a subscription is good value. Enjoy!

I’ve lost track of how many hours I’ve spent browsing Railcam.

An excellent service for the rail enthusiast and even for those not really interested.
The cost of which to me is worth at least double what the subscription is.
Granted like any other webcam service they have issues from time to time but that's technology for you.
I've seen trains and movements I wouldn't normally see and the data available also helps plan an journeys out.

If you are a rail fan. Modern or heritage, then this is the site for you. I have been with Railcam for around three years and have received nothing but the greatest of satisfaction. I do not chat very often but if you want to join many other railfans then the chat room will be most welcome. Don't just take my word, try it.

Joined RailCam 2 years ago and will keep subscribing, Its a very low price for a lot of very high quality cameras in very interesting locations, lets hope they keep adding more

Been a member for some time now. An excellent source of information, and a great service for the small cost involved.

I can’t understand how people can complain about not receiving a ‘free trial’ or ‘more free features’. If this is something that genuinely interests you, or you would find useful, then try it for a month… People out there need to realise that overheads are part of every business. I find it disheartening that people feel the need to negatively comment on such petty things.

I would strongly encourage anyone to subscribe. It is a great source of information. Alternatively, if you want to just watch the world go by, there are cameras at some excellent locations which can have you watching for hours… The more people that subscribe, the more opportunities there will be for this service to thrive and expand…

ive been a member of railcam for around ten years its an excellent service for the rail enthusiast theres an excellent range of live cameras alover the country and also some worldwide cams in the USA and CANADA and Europe well worth checking out.

Fantastic timewaster - but if you love trains for any reason whatsoever its an inspiration.

Railcam is an invaluable service for railway enthusiasts, live streaming from many fantastic places (they're always expanding too), access to timetable data, and user added information such as headcodes and locomotive allocations. To those suggesting that they should offer their services for free- it is not cheap to buy, maintain and stream from HD webcams! Not to mention the running of their website! Keep up the great work

I've been a subscriber for 5-6 years at least (can't actually remember when I joined, probably ever longer than that !), the site was great many years ago, and has continually improved, the diagram coverage,and camera coverage is superb.

Its a very excellent site and Well worth every penny for all the cameras you get. And then you add in all the signalling diagrams which is ideal for watch movements around the network. And all the good people in chat.

An excellent service with the Thankerton Camera always worth a view.

I have no clue where any negative reviews could have come from - their service is fabulous, number of cams has consistently been increased - been a customer for 3 years now - highly recommend if you like watching UK trains from the other side of the world (or much closer I guess)
