The reading program was a great program for my son! He enjoyed reading the books and the classroom interaction.

My son who is in 4 th grade this year took this class during his summer break and had a great experience. He looked forward to the classes and diligently completed his assignments without reminder from parents. So definitely this is a great way to engage kids during the summer break.

My daughter loved this class, and she enjoyed interacting with the teacher.

This class was worth every penny spent. Mr Bernas was an amazing teacher for my son and his class. He was so enthusiastic about reading and listened to all students well. He offered great feedback to each child and made them feel heard.

I had three kids in the program, a third, fifth and sixth grader, each with different handicaps and saw improvement in all three. To quote my youngest joining this program was one of the best decisions I ever made!

Excellent Program I felt like I was in College for Elementary kids it makes reading fun, the book was disected well, not to slow and not to fast..this is what motivated my grandson more

The reading skills program was very well organized and helpful. It helped my son stay engaged with reading over the summer. I would recommend the program for any students who have been struggling with reading or are at risk of falling behind over the summer without practice.

My 2nd and 5th grader were enrolled in the summer program. I really liked the amount of resources offered to the students and parents. The book selections were great and the teachers did a great job keeping the kids engaged . I noticed growth in both children. Highly recommend!

I enrolled my entering 2nd and 5th graders into the summer reading program, and I'm so glad I did. Both kids really got a lot out of the classes, homework, and time spent reading. And, although it was summer break, they both truly enjoyed the program. My entering 2nd grader really needed the extra help, and this program worked wonders for us. I would highly recommend.

I think this was a great class for my daughter who is entering 7th grade. She really enjoyed the books she read. She said her teacher was encouraging and nice. I loved that this program gave assignments to help her with comprehension, vocabulary, speed reading, and writing skills. I plan to have her take it again next year. The class went very smoothly. All the reminder emails before each class was so helpful and made it so easy.

Program was just not for my children. They attended 1 class and I cancelled the program. Company would not offer a refund either.

Very unsatisfied with this program. Zoom didn't work with first Session then the 2nd session no volume no way to communicate. The only thing we got out of this program was some books. Also we already had some of them. All we want is to be reimbursed for the teacher's zoom because its obviously not working out. We have no desire to continue. It's wasting our time and time is precious to us. Tired of excuses would love for this program to make it right and reimburse us for what we didn't receive.

The communication, or lack thereof, from this center is absolutely horrid. I find it incredible that they save face by responding to every review on these types of websites, however, when they are reached out to via email or through their online communication system, regarding a question or any other inquiry, you hear nothing but crickets.

My daughter had a very hard time learning to read. I was trying phonics, flash cards for sight words, working along with her school which was doing whole language approach, yet she could not read. She was later diagnosed with dyslexia. She attended institute of reading, and a break through happened. She is reading, Institute of Reading works. Thank you

I found this to be a great course of instruction for our six year old. It's professionally prepared, but not overwhelming. They seemed to tailor the weekly level of effort to be just right for busy parents and kids and selected a good set of age-appropriate books. The instructor for the live, virtual lessons seemed prepared and engaged, especially given the challenge inherent in managing a live class of five or six year olds.

The reading program has been helping our child to be a more confident reader.

The wonderful thing about this program is that the teachers engage the students, instead of calling on those who volunteer or raise their hand. In doing so, those otherwise shy/introverted children would not gain social skills. From the literature perspective, the books are on par with the grade level. My child has been participating in this program for several years and sometimes the books assigned in this program/class have already been read as curriculum in her school. Overall, I am very pleased with the value of this program.

This reading program is very helpful to us as busy parents. We see our son growing on his reading skills and we're looking forward to enrolling him in winter class.
