My first experience with Remit Home and it was so bad. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s been over 24 hours and my transaction has not gone through. App indicates delivered but recipient hasn’t received it yet.

The system clearly warns during the transaction process that business transfers are not allowed. I have had a very good experience with Remit Home, the transfer process is swift and straight forward. The transfer rates are very competitive some of the highest on the market. I would recommend this company for transfers to Ghana. I can not comment on different destinations as I have only used Remit Home to transfer to Ghana.
The chat facility is very use and you always get a prompt reply to any quieries.

I was sending money home for an emergency surgery for a relative.
The notification on the app said delivered but my family had not received this yet. I called to speak with them after two hours of waiting for my family to receive the money.
I was told a big lie saying the recipients account couldn’t receive an amount of that magnitude and that as a solution I should send another to account and they can assure me of that transaction going through. Sadly that too took more than 2 hours and anytime I called them my call gets hanged up. No one would answer my call to even explain what is happening to me.
I am now told the last transaction is compliance held and I should provide some documents which I have. Money still hasn’t gone through, I had to find money and send through other medium and ask them to refund my unpaid transaction. These guys are telling me now that it will take 10 days to refund!!!
How is this acceptable?
